just lost 7 hours to eso. now there's maintenance, and i'm playing monster bag. i need to start playing more of these plus games. some of them are goofy fun for a couple hours.
so how is elder scrolls online? there must be something good about it to dump 7 hours in to it?

also, I got your driveclub up to level 10 this morning. feel free to start it up and get a freebie trophy at your leisure.

eso stuff

biggest thing it has going for it is variety. there are so many different things to do on the map. first couple nights i played there were people everywhere, but it's starting to thin out a little bit now that i'm farther into the map. they have an area chat, which sometimes helps if you don't have idiots screaming and whatnot. i've been in one public dungeon so far, but it doesn't seem like there's a reason to go back after you do everything in it. i'm hoping there's another kind of multiplayer focused dungeon later.

pvp seems like it'll be a blast once i figure it all out. 3 factions trying to take control of points on a huge map. there's smaller points like mines and mills, temples to get the elder scrolls for faction bonuses, and then the keeps where the big battles take place. keeps are crazy cause there's also ai defending them. you build siege weapons to break down the gates, and then inside you have to fight all the defenders off the siege weapon to take down another gate. i don't know if there's anything past that, cause we got blown away after we got inside. there's also areas to discover and side quests to do inside the pvp map.

you actually level like normal instead of leveling by raising skills. the skills seem tied to your leveling though, if you have the skill active(an ability in a slot, or weapon/armor equipped.) you get 3 main skills per class. so far i've been able to use whatever weapons/armor i want to. anybody can use any of the job classes. in game guilds(fighter, mage, ect) unlock skill sets to use. weapons also have skills tied to them you can unlock.

looks like most of the story missions will be solo as well. if this pattern keeps up.

i played driveclub not long after it released, and took it back not too long after. i almost picked it up again to see all the new updated stuff, but i figured i'd just wait for the plus or complete edition at this point. kinda hoping more for complete since there's 10+ dlc packs.

So like the system wasn't letting the barcode get scanned after she pressed the appropriate Cartwheel buttons or the cashier just didn't know how to do it? Or something else?

Your description makes it sound like worker error. Or there's an error with their in store equipment.

Basically what I'm trying to say is it's not my fault dad! GOD!
Yeah I think the cashier had no idea how to scan it. Train these people better will you?

So my end of league pinball banquet did a pretty cool thing for the tournament.  It was called PinGolf.

All the machines were set to free play with 5 balls per game.  Each machine had a specific goal taped to the back glass.  The objective was to achieve this goal using as few balls as possible, and the number of balls used is your score for that table.

For instance, on Fish Tales, the goal was to collect the Monster Fish value.  Dude I was playing with got it on his second ball and scored a 2.  I did not score it at all during the five balls despite coming inches away from it (ps fuck you Fish Tales), so I scored a 6.

At the end of the night, everyone totals up their scores from all 8 machines, and the lowest three scores took home prize money.  It was nice playing for goals instead of scores like I was going for trophies on Pinball Arcade.  So glad I joined the league finally.

Probably won't do any good. In my 9+ years with the company, most of the people are there for a paycheck and leave in a short amount of time anyway. "I don't care" is the most common thing I hear and you're lucky if an LOD stays for more than two years.

Since I moved and relocated to another store, I'm seeing this in full force. I've warned about problems that will happen, I get ignored, and the problem happen anyway putting team members in what I call "panic mode".

I wish more people would listen to me. #dayoffrant.

This is such an awesome idea.

Did everyone know that Shadow Warrior :ps4: is $10 on psn?

Also, where did Zombie Army Trilogy come from?  This is coming out on ps4 next month I think and looks pretty awesome.  I'm behind the times I guess.

Everyone here who wanted Shadow Warrior should have bought it during the flash sale when it was $6.

Also, I think Pharm's played at least some of Zombie Army Trilogy already; I remember seeing it in his trophy card at one point.

Shadow Warrior has been less than $10 several times.

Also, ZAT as it is known by the cool kids has been out a while only on PSN, Derek, Cakes and played through it and need a 4 player co op trophy if you get it. We also need tons of kills so I am sure we will be willing to help you a bit.

EDIT: fuck you guys/ninjas

The cashier was nice enough and all but I just don't think she knew how to handle it. Not sure if it was a case of her not giving a shit. Or more just never been trained on it. I haven't used the Cartwheel app too much at the register. Usually I am at customer service using it (price override on a game). But there were several deals that made sense. Nice thing is several of them don't expire till July so I may just use them again in a few weeks. Maybe this time the cashier will know how/when to scan the damn thing.

Yeah, Pingolf is a lot of fun. Glad you enjoyed league play. Now you've got to get to some tournaments. There's tournaments all over the place and I'm sure your league knows about them. I'm going to one on Saturday that's a house tournament. Lineup for the tournament:

Star Trek LE

World Cup Soccer

AC/DC

Spider-man

Jackbot

Tron Pro

Metallica LE

Lord of the Rings

Meteor

Harlem Globetrotters

Mata Hari

Stars

Paragon

Dude that took first in our league and his wife that was also in the league are out in Colorado at some tourney. And it looks like there is a tournament next Saturday at my place, so I may join that up. fuck yeah Pinball!

Do you like shooting zombies in the face?

Yeah I think we all enjoyed it. I like mindless shooters though. In this case the zombies die in some cool ways and the environments are all pretty kick ass. Its a long slog of a game though and one of the trophies requires a lot of kills. But you like wasting time so I am sure you would enjoy it. Co op is a blast. Literally.

I was totally interested in ZAT just from reading all of the posts this morning.... until I saw the $50 price tag.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that.
Yeah I wouldnt pay that. Derek, Cakes and I paid $20 for codes from some dude here on CAG.

He probably ripped them off from the dev.

I started Swapper last night after finishing my auto pop fun.  Swapper has some great atmosphere and the puzzles are pretty cool.  I knew going in that I would use a guide though as I cant play puzzle games for long without getting frustrated and bored.

Yeah, guide on the first playthrough.

Is it weird that there aren't any reviews for Lego Jurassic World yet? Probably not much of a demand for them since these games are pretty much always the same.

I can see looking up answers when you get stumped, but looking up answers before you get stumped???

I've run into a couple that I am stumped with and I'll probably end up looking those up, but for now I moved on and will try them again later.

Puzzle games are so boring, so yeah. I just wanted to play it since, you know, it was free and it looked cool. I dont want to have to back track to anything either. And yeah I can get some easy trophies to extend my lead on those schmucks behind me that actually care about that sort of thing.

fuck you Jobu! I do it myself!

Not really, but its a great quote from a great movie.

Finished up shovel knight this morning. One down for jumping june. Game was fun and the music was pretty awesome. I think I liked axiom verge more though as far as notable retro indies this year goes anyway. The last boss was pretty shitty at first, but after a couple run throughs it got way easier. Definitely not going for the plat, I accidentally fell down a hole within 5 min of starting new game+ for the black knight reflect trophy.

I don't think Lego Movie game had any reviews out for a few weeks and I think that's the best of all the Lego games, so I wouldn't be too concerned.

I bet on average I have 1 to 3 dudes per week ask me how long I've been growing my beard. More than 4 this week. Does that mean I could make upwards of 150 friends a year?

Have we started planning for the PSNOT 1 year anniversary coming up in three weeks?  I expect fireworks and BBQs all over the country to celebrate the occasion.

Finished Batman Arkham Origins. Game was pretty great. Loved the ending.

Will try to get started on Infamous Second Son tonight.

I'm not saying I will, but if I was to maybe try and go for the Platinum in this game any tips? I'm guessing you guys normally read over the trophy list before starting up a game? Don't get your hopes up I still might not go for the Plat. We'll see.

I havent gotten the plat, but I believe most people do the good play through first and then the evil second, it should help a little that way.

Other than that I think its fairly straight forward.

How long do you think it took you to finish Origins? I'm debating if I want to try to finish it before Arkham Knight comes out.
