I can't imagine Mouse/KB will be THAT much more effective. Honestly I usually play with my Xbox 360 gamepad for most third person games because the Mouse/KB controls usually suck.

 
Has anybody heard anything about increasing cloud storage for 360 saves (at least for BC) ? Right now it is fine, but I know as they add more games I will run out of room. Those Bethesda saves are huge.
 
So, I got into Elite Dangerous. It's... different. By that, I mean there's a steep learning curve. I'm enjoying it though now that I've got more if a grasp of the gameplay and controls.

Definitely not a game you can just jump into. But the accomplishment felt doing things in it is immense.

It's in Best Buys ad for next week as well, but even better there is $10 off a new controller with purchase, as well as 500 points when buying a controller, so another $10 off. Pretty much next week you could get a 1 TB Xbox, Halo MCC, Batman Arkham Knight, and an extra controller for $429.

 
So if I delete some of the older "Free with XBL Gold" games to free up hard drive space will I be able to redownload them again for free at a later date?

Nevermind: MS link shows $399.99; that's a pretty good price. I might preorder if someone else puts it up that doesn't charge right away like the MS Store (although I think that charge will fall off).

Would be an even better value if the LE controller wasn't sold separately.

knowing m$ that is not likely with the le controller not being sold separately. but who knows

i can see them pulling a sunset overdrive, with the white exclusive console, ending up later down the line on the new 500gb white halo mcc xbox one bundle.

basically, this same color bundle ending up with halo 5 as the game

controller is not exclusive, it is sold separately on microsoftstore.com

Just got an Xbox One and have $10 in digital dollars to use before July. Are there any good X1 arcade games ($10 or less) that werent free for PS+? Not really sure what i could use the $10 on.

Is there anyway to have friends names pop up when the come online anywhere else besides bottom center? Im playing Batman with the subtitles so I do have to have tv too loud so I dont disturb others and if someone's talking and a friend comes online I can't read what they said

Believe it's developer specific. I had the issue playing Powerstar Golf and putting.
 
So I got two achievements from that Forza 2 F&F DLC that are in the state of Done Unlocking... 

Am I safe to unstall that 15 GB game because I got all the achievements yesterday and I would prefer to free up the 15 GB or do I need the game for the achievements to unlock?

when that happens to me, they usually pop up 3 days later when i'm playing a different game. So you're safe to uninstall, they'll pop later on with the original date you earned the achievement.

 
Noob question as i just hooked my X1 up. How do i browse for games in the X1 store? There seems to be a few sections of games but they are very limited and randomly sorted. Is there anyway to sort the games alphabetically, or browse arcade games only? Feels like the only way to find what i want is to know what game i want and search the name, but i dont know which game i want. Am i missing something?

I don't think he did. The developer can decide where notifications pop up. This is for achievements, friends, whatever. There is no way for a user to set the location.

On the 360 when you come online I see it on the top right of the screen, on the 1 I see it on the top middle. Im failing to see where "developers" come into play.

I just do Store>Games>All Games. The library really isn't that big yet, probably hit RB on controller around 6-8times to see all the games listed.

 
Still not feeling a compelling reason to pick up an XBox One, not even with the lower price point. I am kind of feeling the love with the Rare game collection, but that's not out yet. I'll probably hold off until the Rare collection comes out, and I hear more about the new Windows 10 interface.

The backwards compatibility could also entice me into purchasing sooner, as opposed to later. But again I will wait and see how that pans out. (still in trial mode at the moment)

See, developers make games for the Xbox One, and they're able to determine where system notifications pop up in the games they make. If they don't set a specific location, the notifications pop up in the default location. Just like two people already told you.

Unless you want the Forza Console, you could probably wait and get a nice deal around black friday. Besides, the backwards compatibility doesn't come out until fall (well out of beta). I would wait till you feel it's right as there is nothing must own for the One at the moment unless your a Forza or Halo fan.

Yeah, I ended getting one, but I really went back & forth for hours, on whether to get one now, or wait till BF. I probably should of waited. I got the 1TB/Halo: MCC/Arkham Knight/$50 MS Store code $412.69, with a 5% discount. It was a good deal imo, but I'm going to wonder if I could of done better. The Rare Replay pre-order offer was one of the factors on my decision. That's is the game that got me interested in the console. The good thing about all this, was I ended up getting Witcher 3 for free as well, so that sweeten things up. Much better than AC:U.

Get yourself into EA Access, experience Titanfall and the other great games in there; PvZ:GW, FIFA15, Peggle 2, NfS: Rivals, your beloved sports title.

Makes sense, I literally have tons of these laying around. You could use a 48 hr trial when new free games became available and never purchase Xbox Live.

What? You just contradicted yourself. Your 48 and lower hour codes will not work.
I have heard that if you use a month code that you do have to wait but a lot of things have changed recently so maybe that is not so now.

It makes sense those codes wouldn't work, if they did people would enter a code everytime new free games become available. How is that contradicting myself?

I haves tons of trial codes.(they use to come with most games). I don't need/use them(I've been on Live since xbox360 released and I'm current paid up to 2019).
