Yeah, the distance traveled trophy is so fucked it counts every wheel or tire separately, it doesnt count ALL wheels combined, and it doesnt count online games.

#stupidtrophy

I told you trophies were dumb.

-Cainiac
But it was already mentioned that it does count online distance. Just only in public matches. Private matches don't count. Still stupid, but it's not right that no online works.

Though just having said that, now that I think about it the miles on my wheels hasn't seemed to go up recently. I think whoever said that was a liar!

Listen. Wouldn't mind getting a couple as a collectors/framing kinda deal tho. Currently trying to build up my collection in general tho and I keep coming across more video game music ones than I'd expect lol. Most of which seem to come packaged with really nice artwork.
I want to start collecting them for framing. Would be great for a new apartment someday.

Would mainly do my fav bands/albums, but if I did a video game one, this would be the first one I'd get:

I thought about collecting vinyl, but where would I put them? And I don't have a record player so I'd need that too. I do kind of miss CDs. Going to the record store and picking up a new CD. I never had records, but if you're going to collect you might as well get big artwork.
Yeah, most of the reason I started was because I missed having actual album art. I'm one of those people that no matter how I get an album (mixtape, download, link from a friend) I have to track down some sort of art to go with it if it doesn't automatically load. As for storage they actually don't take up too much space (I guess depending on your collection size) But I've got mine sitting in this badass beer packing box they give to liquor stores. Not sure which one I have exactly, I'd have to check but its somewhere along these lines:

Ditto on the sticking to favorite bands/albums. I pick up more of my personal "essentials" list rather than getting everything vinyl. I still do most of my daily listening on spotify or mp3 or whatever. But I'm trying to grab all of my favorites, as well as some classics, on vinyl.

I also tend to grab anything that has awesome art and is fairly cheap, I'd definitely grab the sworcery set just for the art, bonus on the soundtrack actually being solid too. The Hotline one was going to be a splurge 'cause I do genuinely enjoy the soundtrack, but mostly because the set just looks so awesome.

Public matches definitely don't count either.

The sports car I most often see driven slowly: Corvette. Why is that?
Because people that can afford a real sports car are going to get something better than that POS. Corvettes are for mid-life crisis assholes who are mortgaged to the hilt and are too worried for their life savings to get a scratch on it.

So I understand seeking out old vinyl records as those are made from analog audio formats so it is straight analog to analog with no conversion. But like for video game soundtracks and the like that are likely converting from digital to analog doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?

I didn't get to play geometry wars today because a diabetic trucker wanted to tell me a story about how he threatened to break his ex-boss's legs and now the dude is fighting his unemployment. Also, weed.

I found a nice score on a Facebook buy/sell/trade group today: Super Mario Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Fortune Street for $15. They also threw in The Black Eyed Peas Experience, but that one is either going in the trash or to Goodwill.

I always thought the Corvette was one of the best bang for your buck cars as far as speed. Doesnt mean I would buy one but it always had a lot of power for "cheap".

I do think the new body style looks real nice though. There are a few in my neighborhood that have the upgraded engines etc and they look sweet.

Some people just like vinyl. Sometimes I like it when listening to music is an event and not just background filler. My wife only has records, no CDs or anything else. It's kind of nice.

You're trying to explain collection fetishes with logic. It doesn't work that way.

I love the sound of music played off a record especially with a good needle. There's just something really special about music on wax especially punk music.

Also vinyl usually skyrockets in price.  I picked up a copy of Gorillaz "Demon Days" 2 x 12" LP for a friend for $15. When I told my friend I picked him up a copy he told me he already bought one. Well I held on to that record for a year and sold it on eBay for $315.

There's this Sublime 12" Green Marble vinyl they only made 300 and those go for $700-1000 now.

Vinyl is here to stay.

Dang, that's a great haul. SMG2 (huh, sounds like a gun) is probably my favorite 3D Mario, with 3D World a close 2nd.

For top end speed maybe. I'd personally rather have a Tesla S for off the line speed since I do not think driving well over 100 is something that you have the opportunity to do very often.

The newest version looks better than it has in some time, but looks like a wannabe Viper to me. This is the only Corvette I would want.

Never heard of Facebook buy/sell/trade group. Is that like craigslist for rich people?

I've been meaning to hook my Wii back up to play some of the stuff I never got around to, like most of the VC classics and a handful of Wii games. I think this might finally make me get to it. I loved the original Galaxy, but haven't played the second.

Well I cancelled my Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls Limited Edition. I ended up having a $25 BBY reward cert and a $4 gift card so I just picked up the regular game for $3.55. CAG math is the best am I right? I know this game isn't supposed to like the last 2 but I still want to have it for my physical Vita collection.

Bayonetta references are the best. Henshin a gogo baby. and then listing claire and trish and silvia and ammy ;) and flock off featherface was perfect and now i know dmc took that trophy name from bayonetta ;) so much cross game references. i cant wait for bayonetta 2 for ps4?

Apparently the Season Pass for The Evil Within is on sale this week for $13.49...Hmm... :whistle2:k

I wish we knew if the rumored GotY edition will have its own trophy list like Shadow of Mordor.
yeah i wanna play all the content but i want to wait if they have a whole new trophy list... but i havnt even started the ps4 version and would love to knock it all out at once. how much is the pass normally?

My assumption was that $39.99 price was a mistake. But it's still there. Crazy.

Ah, it's $14.99 on the Xbone store. Xbone wins this generation.

$19.99. If the GotY edition will have a new trophy list, then I want to buy the season pass now so I can 100% the trophies. Decisions, decisions...

normally $20. assuming the rumors are spot on, we'll probably see a $40 price point for the goty version. that'd be $32 at bby for the new release that might hold some trade value or you could get the game + season pass right now for $33.50.

I wonder if anybody bought Tembo for $39.99? Or even the PS+ "discounted" price.

It has to be a mistake given the Xbone price. it's taking them long enough to fix it, though.
