Grr... no US steelbook release for the Rouge Cut...... at this point I am wondering if it even worth buying as to what the Rouge scenes do to the overall story.... I doubt it's going to be like the Director's cut of Daredevil which made the movie a lot better than the Theatrical Cut.

If the reviews say it's worth it, i'll buy it then stick the RC disc into my current DOFP steelbook and give away that disc...bam!

In that first link it states that they will also be available in the U.S. And gives a link. Why preorder from the UK and risk region locking?

The article on BluRay.com mentioned that they are also coming out in the US. I didn't put that in my post, so my apologies.

The reason to order them from the UK is that they may be much cheaper. Not an option of they are region locked, no.

Err, I don't think that's a steelbook. The US doesn't have a Days of Future Past steelbook. Target stocked a metalpak though. They have two hinges on the spine and a break in the casing rather than the flat continuous spine that you find on a steelbook. Skip to 1:15

Going to order it in case no one else gets a steelbook, and the artwork is better, and the movie isn't complete crap. Those are high stakes.

oh fuck no!  I'm not sure what's worse, having to buy all 23 Bond steelbooks or them only announcing 9 for release.

Those covers are pretty rad.

I'm actually ok with this because If you can't get the system right online then don't do it at all.. I literally had to call all pissed off because my batman vs Robin steelbook was on backorder and had not ship yet when you can literally go online and buy it in stores or the website

They did it right for American Sniper (I think it was American Sniper), as it had a different DPCI # for the steelbook vs the non-steelbook. That made it easy for it to not get screwed up, so I don't know why they couldn't do that again on future releases.

My issues is that I'm usually very busy on Tuesdays, so heading over to Target early in the day is a giant PITA for me of recent, so if I could either order it on-line for in-store pickup or order it online for shipment, I'd be fine with that. Not having a different DPCI # for the steelbook makes that quite difficult.

With Chappie, I was off work that day and could hit Target as I had to go there anyway. This time around on the 28th, might not be so lucky.

Ya I feel your pain, it was so weird because first it seems like that had it right only to go back to that same DCPI #
 
I'm torn on the Zavvi Back to the Future Steelbooks.

On one hand, I would like the Trilogy set for space-saving purposes, but I am not a big fan of the art and wish it was just a shot of the DeLorean driving away.

The individual Steels are OK, but I hate those silver stripes.
 
There's a non-Steelbook BTTF collectors set coming out this fall with a flux capacitor. I'll just get that instead.

I'm guessing there will not be an online preorder as it likely shares the same Product ID as the non-steelbook edition (as the last DC animated steelbook did).

 
Shoot me an offer (paypal) if you guys are interested in buying it because I have no use for it. It has been sitting on the shelf and collecting dust in the last two years or so. Note: Region B lock so it will not play here in the US/on my blu-player according to Amazon.com.
