This is apparently bizarro day.  Wren is enjoying an IPA and Pancakes and I just helped Cainiac get a trophy.

Should I expect Cainiac to celebrate by eating some pineapple?

 
Anybody whos around tomorrow want to boost the online Wheel of Fortune trophies with me on PS3?  I was thisclose to getting them legit and then the opponent bailed.

 
Thread bitching not successful, failed another 10 times and then finally had to look up the video of someone doing it and copied their movements. Bayonetta Hard mode finished.

 
So according to my wife, the reason Netflix passed on Hannibal is because Amazon owns the streaming rights to it. The reason Amazon didn't pick it up is because Amazon wanted to immediately start another season rather than giving the show creator time to work on the writing to his satisfaction, so he passed on them.

Not sure I really want to watch more of Hannibal, tbh. Tonight's episode introduced a new arc with a very obvious consequence that isn't appealing at all.
Gosh, Will has a new family and he gets pulled into going after a serial killer who goes after families. What could possibly happen? Even having never seen Red Dragon I can see where this has to be going.

Thanks. Just snagged all 4. I guess I'll actually watch them now. Not a fan of Tom Cruise but hey.

 
Well I went and created a UV account just to get the free movies because why not.

Didn't like Ghost Protocol, 2 is dumb, 1 probably hasn't aged well, but 3 was good.

I just realized that my PlayStation Level is just barely ahead of my actual age now, for the first time. I'm 29.67 years old and I'm at 29.72 on Playstation.

Just in case anyone is having trouble linking their UV account.  Try using Internet Explorer.  Their site seems to use Silverlight. I keep getting a blank box when trying to do it in Chrome.

Got all 4 queued up.  Might download them to my phone and watch at lunch time at work.  My wife hates Tom Cruise so she would never watch them.  Or maybe watching it on my PS3/PS4 in the mornings using my Golds.

Damn. That's almost as pathetic as when I spent 10 minutes today digging up Backlog's guide for Vig by going through all his posts.

 
The Red Sox have been involved in some heavy trade talks for Hamels, and I'm sure today just made his stock shoot through the roof. They need an ace badly too. Not for this year, they're already done this year, but for next year.

You can also just do two PS4 copies or whatever. Which is what I'll do and then trade in one of the copies to Amazon. Not a lot to gain there but oh well.

Or just try to sell one on ebay worst case.

I ended up not bothering with that Voice bundle trade idea but I still have a book and another game I was looking to trade in to Amazon.

I'll probably just get two XB1 copies and trade both in to GS this week during the 50% bonus.

 
I ordered one of each DAI, planning on running over to Hastings with them and figuring out if the $40 trade in value for each stacks with the Trade 2, get 1 free promo or not.  I'll be pinching myself if I can get $80 credit and a free Batman AK out of it.  

 
Well... fuck !

So in Bound By Flame you have 4 romance options, 2 per gender. For each option you need to talk to the love interest and exhaust all conversation topics after every main quest and you also have a small set of character-specific quests to do. I finished off the last quest for one of the love interests and the trophy for doing all her quests popped, but the final dialogue choice (where you make a reference to having sex with her and she says "Let's do it!") got denied and the romance trophy didn't pop. Apparently I missed one of the dialogues at some point. I replayed Act 3 (it's very short) and the missed conversation wasn't there. 

So far I've played through once. I was about to start my 2nd run for hard mode and the opposite gender but this trophy not popping means I'd have to do three runs to redo that one romance option. Dammit.  :wall:

Yeah, I would have been all over that, especially at the absurd $10 price.

Hopefully DA:I isn't too similar to Dragon Age 2 otherwise I'm going to feel like I paid too much.

From comments and gameplay I've looked at, it's kinda MMO-ish. By "kinda" I mean "compared to MMOs tons and tons of times in online reviews and user comments."

That could be good or bad depending on your tastes.

What? It is nowhere near an MMO at all. It's Mass Effect dialogue with dragons and the option for a turn-basedish combat system.

And yet if you type in "dragon age inquisition mmo" you'll get pages of hits in which people make that comparison. I haven't played the game myself but it's a fact that there are plenty of people who think it plays like an MMO. Whether he'd feel that way (and whether that's a problem or not) is something he'll find out for himself, I suppose.

Dragon Age 2 was severely dumbed down and made into a boring game. Sounds like this regained some of the complexity I would expect from this series.
