None of my local WalMart's had Divinity: OS. Checked clearance end-caps + even clearance sections in 2 of my nearby stores.

Though, at one WalMart's - I wound-up w/ a Turtle Beach EarForce PX22 gaming headset for $38 (before tax). These headphones are freaking nice. :) Lots of different wires, jacks, a cool amp of its own, and whatnot come packaged w/ it. Excellent packaging. I've been needing a newer + better pair of headphones/gaming headset anyways. Mic works quite well, as well.

I don't get these anime people.  Chicks in bathing suits and giant boobs aren't enough?  You can't get off unless they have god damn wings and tails and animal ears as well?  :speaktothehand:

Also, I'm tempted to check out Walmart which annoys me because I know it will be fruitless, plus I'll have to spend time in a Walmart.  Prediction: No one else here finds a $9 copy of D:OS

I checked a Walmart near me yesterday (Actually two but one is a Walmart Neighborhood Market or some crap that's just grocery and had no games, but hey cheap pizza) and nada on the Divinity. Their clearance was a certified Hot Ass Mess with console and PC shit all mixed together in no particular order. It was like the Ross of video games. And I dug but no buried treasure, just overpriced Sims and granny Big Fish and console crap.

I'm going to the other side of the state today anyway so I plan to hit three Walmarts along the way but honestly, I think we've been Foxhacked.

Giant boobs without bathing suits are better.

One of my local Walmart's was a mess.

The electronics area had its own end-cap w/ all kinds of...nothing, basically. Wasn't much there There was one huge clearance section off to the side that was a bloody mess - and anything + everything could be found there (DVD's, music CD's, stationary stuff, toys, etc etc). It was as if they just threw all the stuff they didn't know what to do w/ there and turned it into ridiculously huge clearance hoarder's area. Looked like a wrecked war-zone.

The other local WalMart's - where I bought the gaming headset - was very organized.
Neat, nice, and everything sorted. Lots of endcaps around the store w/ things all nice + neatly organized and everything right by the section it belongs in + everything. No one huge additional "messy everything thrown there" section.

Also, I'm tempted to check out Walmart which annoys me because I know it will be fruitless, plus I'll have to spend time in a Walmart. Prediction: No one else here finds a $9 copy of D:OS
That'd be my guess, too. Foxhack got mad lucky.

Hey, everyone knows Walmart clearances are super YMMV. At least you got out of the house. :p

Chances are it already hit Slickdeals and those fuckers already mobbed every Walmart in the country.
Doubt it. Walmart clearance--Walmart prices--are generally not system-wide. They're set at the individual store level. Slickdealers know this. Walmart clearance deals don't tend to be their sorts of deals.

MKX is apparently a little under $12 with voucher over at FunStock Digital. With how close that price is to G2A marketplace sellers, I think this kind of confirms what someone said the other day, that they get their keys from other countries.

Never heard of this place GamesRocket. Anyone know anything about them?
They have very sneaky reps. ;)

Hmmmm - Is the Kombat Pack (Season Pass) on sale, too?

I think best deal we've seen for MKX was MKX base-game + Most DLC's for $20. Story-mode was awesome in MK9 + Injustice - and it was great we got the PC version packaged w/ all its DLC content included, after they were done w/ the DLC's on console versions.

MK is a series that I think live and dies on how many times you run Arcade Ladder Mode and/or playing against others (if you do it local or online) - so having the more characters, the better (which they often regulate to DLC's).

Not bad for a pre-order. But, I think I can wait.

I've bought a couple things from them. I think they had the best price this summer on... umm... that retro-isometric RPG that isn't D:OS or Wasteland 2. Anyway, the only odd thing about them was that they made me give a phone number and answer a robocall with a pin number to validate my purchase. That's supposedly a one time thing to keep people from making 10,000 accounts and, I dunno, reselling their games or something? Anyway, all went smoothly.

Star Wars: KOTOR II - The Sith Lords (Steam) [MAC] = $7.49 (25% off) $9.99

[before any vouchers]

This is a Steamplay title - so it will come for Windows & Mac.

Gotta keep my eyes on this, in case it eventually bricks down or something.

If you're even thinking about paying that much for it, you're doing it wrong.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Drakensang DLC, Foxhack.

So, Van Helsing III buy now at 50% off if we have the other two?

Supposedly Final Cut is coming out in September and they sounded iffy on the FAQ if they would be able to give it to people if they bought one or more of the original games post release of Final Cut.

Neocore said:
Q: I only have one or two titles from the trilogy. If I buy the third after Final Cut was released, am I eligible for a free copy?

A: Anyone who owns all three games will receive Final Cut automatically on the release date. Your case is a little bit more complicated, but we’re working with Steam to find a solution. The safest way to ensure your free copy of Final Cut is to buy the missing title in advance, but we won’t pressure anyone to do so. One way or another, we’ll try to make it work.

It was in the Star Wars bundle, so I'd suggest scouring the cesspool in case someone has an extra still.
I gave my copies away a few months back.

I went to Wal-mart..... there was no signs or clearance anything. Tried SKU reading a few things and nada. Toys had some stuff but that was basically picked over.

You can always claim that they're for your wife.
Do women wear boxer briefs? Is this some kind of new feminine movement I'm unaware of?

Cashier: Is this all for you, sir?

Me: Um, yes... and before you ask or even if you weren't going to, I'm buying these for my wife. So she won't have to see my penis flopping about.

I'm confused.  All these Witcher 3 sales say it's gotta be redeemed on GOG... AFAIK, GOG doesn't give Steam right?  Completely different applications.  Correct?  I ask because I have a bug in my bonnet to want to play an open-ish world.  And if I can't get the Witcher, I'll likely just disappear into Skyrim again.

I have not played van helsing 1 or 2. Booted up vh1 for a couple minutes once and first impressions were i didn't like it. Granted I probably didn't even spend 15 minutes on the game

Correct. If you're not dying to play Witcher 3, just wait for a decent Steam sale and hope they eventually add a CD key you can activate on GOG for a copy there.

It's "Mixed". Lots of bugs, they say. Still haven't played 2.
Bugs are being patched, but reviews remain unaltered.

Anyway, I consider this purchase as Van Helsing: Final Cut at 83% off. Looks good enough to me.

I finished Van Helsing I on Heroic Hardcore and it was fun. Almost started playing VH:II, but than the Final Cut edition was announced.

That Simulation Gaming Pack for $4.81 after voucher is also a decent deal for a bunch of trash games.
I'll buy it once this is added to the pack and released on Steam.

Hmmm - I think the real question is:

Before TFC gets released, will VH3 will go on sale at least at 50% off again or get bundled?

What about Border Patrol? But I suppose Smuggle Truck already did that.
I've actually played the game, you start out manning a border patrol outpost in the desert. Of course it doesn't really have a tutorial, so all the illegals went racing past me. Yeah. That's why. Uh huh.
