That is why I have my financing all lined up before I set foot on the lot. I flat out tell them unless you can beat x% we have nothing to talk about. Limits the BS they can pull.
And thats why I mentioned the 2.9% rate. No one could beat that at the time and they werent doing cash back on the car I wanted. Otherwise I wouldnt have dealt with financing cause your right, I normally have financing and use their cash back.

Once the dealer was a fraction of a percent cheaper then my credit union and was with a bank with plenty of branches locally. So it was worth it to me to go with their financing. But he wasn't sure he could beat the credit union rate so he said he would have to get back to me (he did later the same day). Much easier to say no F U when you don't really need them.
I think the other time they couldn't beat the credit union rate so dealing with the finance department was pretty simple. Just had to say no to all the extra crap they try to get you to buy. How about upgraded mats, under coating, etc.
Is the Wizard the best character to use in Heroes of Loot? He seems overpowered if you get a spell after gaining a few levels, but if you have a bad run without any spells for later floors, you can die pretty easily (like I did on Dungeon 23 when endless enemies became a thing ).
I grabbed a GS one to put towards the blue vita. I should be covered cost wise now as long as the vita TiV doesn't tank as soon as the new color comes out.

Vita card prices vary a lot. I recently got a 16gb for $20. Really though you should go 64. I'm a convert since I got mine. I thought 32 was enough, but it wasn't.

You should buy that $20 16GB one from jkam instead if he still has it. I have decided against it.
8GB is serviceable in a pinch if you arent switching between multiple games. I have a 16GB in mine and I have only had a problem when I had Uncharted, NFS, Gravity Rush, PVZ, Motorstorm RC, and a ton of other crap I cant even remember all on it at once.
Is TLOU Outbreak sale today? I wanna check out the $1 theme. Not sure if these were mentioned but I saw a free Oddworld and Witcher 3 theme on the PS Store when I was browsing yesterday. They've probably been there for awhile. I like the icons for the W3 one.
yeah i got to 37 just now with 3000 enemies killed using the red warrior guy. i got screwed and ended up in an arena room with 3 minotaurs fire breathing in my face. i was looking and leaderboards full of valks. iv got all trophies but this 5000 enemies is gonna be a tough run. Trying all morning and gonna take a break and try again. Valk has awesome magic but goes down way too fast. warrior's magic is worthless. plus i have my warrior starting on level 3 already, but i guess i could level her up too...
I haven't decided if I want to get the blue Vita or wait to see what kind of BF deals they have on Wii U bundles. Of course, buying both is an option. I don't know. We'll see.

Where do you see how many enemies you've killed? I think the main number in the top-center represents your total experience since it goes up when you get loot, but I don't see any other numbers.

I bought a 32GB on launch. The problem is there are a good amount of games like Pinball FX 2, Hot Shots, Lumines, Fighters, etc. that are nice to have at all times and you can pick up and play anytime. I don't "need" everything on there but it's nice to have the breathing room at this point. I can now even add in some (GASP!) PSP and PS1 (non-trophy!) games as well. Plus it's nice to be lazy and not have to delete\add\download every single time you want to play something.
Being that I work in Auto Finance... I can say gap is the only back end product I would recommend. You can get it usually for around $300, and for that price and the ease it can put you at in case of an accident it is good to have. The key in deciding not to get it is the price and value of the car, newer the car is, better Gap is.
The credit Union i work with does $299 Gap, and if you car is totaled, we give you the difference int he loan, plus an extra $1000. Many CU do that. You can also get it very cheap from your insurance provider, which I recommend for you Cleaner since you didn't go with the dealer. Just know that Gap is negotiable and I wouldn't pay above $300.
The lease on the car we just got, gap was built in, and is built into most leases.
Rule of financing, always get approved before hand to have a starting point. Sad thing is with bigger banks and dealers financing, they can do a deal with the bank to get more money on the financing side. For instance, say you qualified for 1.9% interest, they would go back to the dealer and say, we will give you 1.9 with the option of 2. This means the Dealer can then say you qualify for 2.9 or 3.9 and pocket the difference without you even knowing. Most Credit Unions do not do this.
The one I work at basis the whole interest rate on your credit score and that is it. It only increases if you change the term.

I was about to pull the trigger but I don't know enough about gamestop to know if you can use a digital code in-store. Additionally, I'm not sure how long it'll be before I get banned for trading in so many mortal kombat vita copies.
Just in case you or yours likes to do their Halloween costume and candy shopping super early, Cartwheel is gonna have a one day only offer tomorrow for 40% off both.

What's this about a bus pass? I just got a new car!
I was in Reno all last week for work and the rental car ended up being the car I was buying so I got to test drive for a week lol. Flew back on Saturday and picked it up Sunday.
Last time I was reading the thread you guys mentioned insurance and stuff. I've got all that stuff taken care of except GAP coverage. My sister keeps telling me to get it but wanted to know your opinion. From what I read it covers you if you get in an accident and owe more on the car than what it's worth so it would cover the difference so you don't have to pay it out of pocket.
Details/pic:
The car was $14,800 at 4.5% APR and I put $2500 down. It's a 2014 Chevy Cruze 2LT RS edition with some upgrades like leather seats, sun roof and touch screen. I really love it and it's my favorite color, a metallic green. She runs real smooth and picks up speed quickly. Low mileage. A great upgrade from this shitty ancient car I'd been riding lol.
Congrats on the car and I like the color. I don't see many green cars around these days. It's nice when upgrading to a new car knowing you can drive anywhere without problems.

Of course I go to lunch and miss the GAP insurance convo.
Kelly Blue Book Dealer Trade Value on that car in "very good" condition is around $12,000 which is basically what you owe. There's not a whole lot of "gap" left to cover thanks to your down payment. And like Pharm said, it's going to take a pretty huge wreck (or unrecoverable theft) for the insurance to declare it a total loss. I'd say skip it.
Reason the finance guy might not have tried selling it to you is because the actual loan has been closed. He might not get commission on your GAP insurance, the fact that he suggested looking for it through the bank or your insurance also suggests to me that there's no point in him proactively selling GAP to you anymore.

Thanks grabbed it. I wonder if I'll ever really use my Steam library again. Kind of a shame, I really like Steam but not into building PCs much anymore or buying a gaming rig. Sort of wish they'd work out letting you sell your games. I do want to play Gone Home though.
I think the big thing we track/celebrate/measure is promo sales amount (or something like that). So basically how much do people spend when Cartwheel is used on their transaction. I think so at least. I know we also celebrated number of users signed up as well. I'm usually out of those conversations save for a bi-weekly update meeting that I half pay attention to.

Tyler, you are correct... however in around 6 months the value will considerably drop and the gap will grow quickly. That was why I suggested it. We grade vehicles based on their value and how long it takes for cars to drop in value. We take this into account when someone is paying overvalue, whether they will be badly upside down without cash down.
Chevy's are one of the lowest and will drop in price considerably. Yes true if she got in an accident in the next month or so, gap wouldn't cover much. But within a year it would be highly recommended, and like I said should only cost around $300.

Definitely not 4 at least that will run out quick if you put any AAA titles on it (Uncharted Golden Abyss is almost 3 GB). I would say 16 would be the minimum I'd do, though I went with the 64 too.
Darn, now the question is: Do I keep my order set to Store Pickup and hope the store doesn't screw up my preorder, or do I call Best Buy CS to have them switch my order to Ship-to-Home?
