I really can't think of anything I've seen that's this bad in a long while. I haven't seen much about zombie vikings other than gator's berating about the bugginess, but I suspect it's 100x less buggy than thps5.

You can play Zombie Vikings single player at least, but it may still have glitches to work around. This one sounds much worse.

Not the level ones. I mean the ones for speed run of the full game in the extended ones are all bronze. In fact all extended trophies are bronze with the exception of the brutal ones being gold.

Yea I did read about it for that game. I couldn't find anything about Dokuro having problems though.

And now I'm at the end of Fallout 3 with a huge save file, so I'm finally dealing with all those bugs and crashes...video games suck!

There's a lullaby renditions of Sublime album that just came out from the Rockabye Baby! people.  My kid listened to these albums exclusively for his first couple years of sleeping times with the Metallica and Tool and Floyd and Zeppelin and Muse and Beatles and Nirvana albums in the series.  They do a good job at converting the songs into glockenschpeel and toy piano and other assorted calm instruments.  Check it out.

nothing about sunset really sparked with me. crackdown would be the next big one i care about. i don't really recall anything else they announced. i played the demo of state of decay on 360, didn't really like it. i imagine there might be some good updates by now, but i also don't need the one to play it.

Yeah we also have the Garth Brooks one for when we're up north at the in-laws cabin where they play country. They do a really good job at recreating the songs for all the artists they do. Such an expanded roster now for the rock versions. Wish some of them were out when we were using them.

Gonna show them to the wife tonight.

We just started using a sound machine thing that plays soft lullaby music and it seems to help the kid sleep better, so might figure out a good way to stream her some of this too at night.

Good call. I got these because I knew I wouldn't be able to stand rocking/feeding/soothing/whatevering in there to that generic bullshit music. So instead I would sing Welcome Home Sanatarium.

 
So Bluepoint games created the brutal difficulty by having the best player on the dev team play through chapters.  if he beat it they made it harder, and continued this until he couldn't beat it at all, then they dialed it back slightly from the impossible for him, and there you have it, brutal difficulty.... Have fun 100% the game guys, I'm out...  :bs:

That's been the thing to do with metal/hard/deathcore since about 1999 or 2000 (probably goes back further than that, but I wasn't old enough to see it myself). I don't go to shows anymore, but when I did, I and other metalheads would get annoyed when a -core band would be on the bill with metal bands, since that meant a bunch of ninjas would be in the crowd.

It may have bled over into 'true' metal scenes at this point, I'm not actively involved in it anymore.

Apparently there was also licensing issues with the original soundtrack, so the PSN version is going to have a completely new soundtrack. Never heard of that for game before, but I guess its a thing that can happen now too. There's details on the blog if y'all are interested.

Anyone paying any attention to the League world championship? I guess an EU team just beat one of the Chinese frontrunners? I've got it on as background noise in the office, kinda interesting. I have no idea what's going on tho lol

Yeah one of my friends is hardcore into LoL esports.

The chinese team (LGD) is the #1 chinese seed and considered one of the best (top 3 of them, SKT, and EDG) in the world. Origen is considered a fan favorite but otherwise average team filled with foreigners (which in esports means white people). It's considered a big upset even though it was just a best of one.

 
It will also be interesting as I am entering the time period one of the shows I watch, Turn: Washington's Spies, is set in, and one of the central, historical (non-founding father) figures from that show just popped up in the game.

Man, the youtube stream of the league championships is so much better than the twitch stream. Haven't buffered once in the 30+ minutes I've been on here while my twitch stream was constantly buffering or crashing entirely. Crazy how different the quality can be between the two.
