I don't think schools are closed here. Buuuut, I work exclusively with the Feds so I'll probably get the day off. Huzzah!

I don't see anything in the description that explains why the physical MM Legacy Collection is $15 more than the download.
I think there were some people theorizing that they'd include additional games (which would be sold as dlc to the digital game). no idea if there's any truth to that though.

June 14 vs July 14. Holy hell I really liked both of those months.

June 13 I removed the IGC evergreen games refresh (Uncharted 3, Xcom, LBP Karting) since those were really year-long rewards to subscribers and I don't think that that month deserves to have all the credit for them.

Not sure how Best Buy's ebay store can show something in stock for pickup at the closest store while their own website can't.

Couple insane battlefront kills. The 360 no scope vid is ridiculous. I didn't even know there was a dude there for him to shoot. And the guy who took down both AT-ATs is a fuckin jedi.
the more I see of this, the more I can tell that it's not for me. it looks awesome (both in scale and concept) but dat first person perspective and the inevitable downside of pro players doing 100+ yard snipes. did anyone try the other 2 (?) modes that are in the beta? are they in a different environment? is there an actual campaign in the final game or is it all mp/coop?

i don't know most to those answers, but it's all online MP. No campaign.

The first matchup was a tough choice for me, but I had a great time playing PayDay 2 with my friends and I also really enjoyed Remember Me.  Saint's Row 3 and Machinarium were great games too, but not enough for those 2 for me.

The next one was pile of crap against Rocket League.  Easy choice.

I expect Strider to be my favorite game of all the games in the last choice, but the number of good games in the second one made me pick it instead.  I already played 2 of them and plan to play everything else except NBA 2K14 from the list.

I'm with you as I hate that shit and I'm not at all good at these games but I had a lot of fun playing it last night. There is a single player mode in the Beta that throws waves of enemies at you which was also fun. I'd say at least check out the Beta. Suprised me how much I enjoyed it.

Which games did you like from July other than Strider? Just curious if any should be on my radar.
Towerfall is a lot of fun in co-op. Me and a friend played it a few times. It's challenging but a great time. Wish it had a capable online feature.

Vessel looks really good, if it was on PS4 I probably would have played it already, but since I rarely turn my PS3 on I forget about it. It reminds me a bit of Teslagrad. Puzzle platformer.

I like the Dead Space games, so getting 3 for free was cool though I've only played 1&2 so far.

Muramasa Rebirth is a great looking game and moderately fun to play, though the combat isnt great. I had beat it already when we got it for free but I think its a really good Vita Plus game and one of our very last vita retail Plus games.

Doki Doki Universe is a colossal piece of trash.

So I should look into Vessel and maybe Muramasa.

Towerfall has no interest to me since it is couch co-op only. Isn't Dead Space 3 pretty much all co-op too like RE5 was? That has me not exactly itching to play it even though I loved the original Dead Space.

I know Deadspace 3 has coop but I don't know how it works.

Those floppy drive songs are fun but this just proves that some people have way too much time on their hands. Wish I was one of them, I'd have finished Metal Gear by now.

From the little I played of DS3 it seemed like you could either solo or coop. And it didn't feel like it made too much of a difference. I haven't played any of the other DS games though so I can't compare to those.

I loved SR3. A game I really wasn't interested in. Thought it was a GTA 4 knock off. Ended up loving the game. Haven't played a ton of PayDay 2 yet. I didn't care for Remember Me. Got the first trophy I think and gave up on it. Had no desire to figure out what combos / attacks I needed. Just seemed like too much customization to be fun. How do I know what I need. I barely played the game.

There's 4 or 5 doors/areas you can't go through without co-op but they aren't important unless you want to get all the collectibles and trophies. I played it solo first then played co-op to get the collectibles but I still missed some because the other guy didn't care about trophies.

C3PO is so lame.
His figure with the detachable arms and legs and backpack for Chewy to carry him around in was the shit tho.

Got it.

Games to play:

1. Vessel

2. Jet Car Stunts

Edit: Goddamn it Vig, go get a life and stop being in this thread every single minute of the day!

Still have it with all my other figures, playsets, and the Millennium Falcon. Hopefully this new movie does well and nostalgia bug kicks in and prices skyrocket. I'll be glad to unload it all for some good $$$ :)

I let my nostalgia (or possibly senility) overcome my common sense and got a 20th anniversary PS4 controller while picking up my copy of GOW3.  I love how the logo on the PS button is the old school color one.

There were also people buying up all the Bloodbournes and a guy buying the uncharted console bundle while I was there.  Sony foreverrrrrrrr!
