I appreciate the offer, but I am not even sure if that deal will be online or just in store on BF. I do not wish having to deal with BB on BF on anyone. Not to mention dealing with shipping charges as well. The game will eventually get down to my price range. I will just have to wait a while. Thanks though!
If it wasn't for the PIA credit cards can be I would have offered this to a few people in the past. More and more BB items are free shipping even without Elite (which I am till Feb). Even with Elite I think the free shipping was on items $35 or more. But now they are doing free shipping even on cheaper orders.

The big issue is credit cards get screwy when a ship to address is different then the bill to address. I tried to order something on my Prime account for my boss shipped to her house. It failed due credit card fraud protection issues.

There is one maybe two games part of BB BF deal I might get. Only if I can get it online and shipped for free.

I gladly paid $60 for GCU when it first went on sale and I don't even have a BB near me. You only have to go to the store once to activate it then you can use it online afterwards. Has paid for itself multiple times over.

Yeah, I first got it when it dropped to the $60. Then got another 2 years when it was on sale with the cheap phones.

Does the Uncharted Bundle as Best Buy come with 14 days or 30 days of PS+?  Guy at work went to buy one on his lunch.  Wasn't sure if he got a PS+ trial or not.  I have a 14 day code I can give him if not.

I think you're missing the point. If you can muster up the cash to buy 1 new release game at $48 (most big releases come with $10 back), you can play for a week or two, trade it back and get back close to the same amount you paid. Rinse and repeat for several new releases after that. If you don't have Best Buy close to you to go do the trade, then I can see your issue. And I guess you might not want to have to force yourself to play through them that quick.
I'm not missing that point at all but you are correct, that's the way to use GCU for cheap rentals. That is the reason people should be getting GCU. I'm playing less games and playing them longer than I used to so those quick flip rentals don't appeal to me as much these days.

Poor people that dont have time to play games therefore they dont have GCU.  You know what allows you more free time to play games?

A divorce!  Join the club!  Everyone is doing it!

I am not arguing the merits of GCU for those of you who use it to your advantage.  I am just not a play every game right at release type.  I never have been and never will be.  If Nintendo put out more new games my kids would really want to play it would probably be worth it for that, but they don't.  Outside of the DI or Lego Dimensions sort of games, I just don't have a use for it with the way I abuse GF.

With the way I like to try and complete everything the quick play and flip model just likely would not work all that well.  When you also look at the fact that 6 months of the year my GF subscription is paid for by a relative as a gift and I only pay $73 for the rest of the year, I would find it hard to believe if anyone in the thread gets a higher game/$ spent ratio than I am even with abusing GCU.

My way certainly does not work for everyone, I readily admit that.  It has absolutely worked for me though.

I don't buy games at release (or at least only very rarely) but I think I get enough less expensive games to make GCU worth it over a 2 year period. It helps to have kids to shop for too.

Oddly enough I am moving towards this as well. I hate feeling presured into finishing a game quick enough so I can trade it and get enough value for it. I buy less and less games on release (or a few days later) then I have in the past. But still buy enough it works for me.

YMMV.

Honestly I keep waiting for BB to stop GCU or fuck me over or go out of business.  Once one of those happens I will switch to what Gator does.  PS Plus along with Gamefly would be all I need.  I assume Tampa is still a Gamefly distribution center.  It never took long for me to get games from them when I used it long ago.

If I end up playing some ps4 tonight, maybe Ill give streaming a shot. I'll try some Uncharted or something. Maybe on that brutal difficulty.

I got my GC for $8 with one of those SIM cards, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered since I obviously don't buy hardly any new games.  My Disney Infinity 2.0 purchase on BF last year paid for it in that once transaction, but I'm not sure if I've racked up $30 in savings yet.

Then again if I get 3.0 or Lego Dimensions this BF that should push me over the edge.

In conclusion, I like contradicting myself.

*cue Green Day's Walking Contradiction*

Teslagrad and Bastion are both getting Vita ports with cross-buy. Might want to wait on those.
Those were just examples and the first things that came to mind. I just meant all the free stuff that has come to PS4 with Plus. Could I play those "indie" titles on my vita with remote play.

(Ie Magicka, Grow Home, UnMechanical, etc, etc)

Yeah, everything works with remote play. You might have to tweak the controls a bit to make it a little easier to play some games, but they'll work.

I missed winghouse for lunch today. :(
Maybe this will make you feel better.

Look at that ass!

Where would one get $2.19 PSN codes?  Someone on another forum had 10 for sale for $15.  I kind of know the guy from my 360 days.

I really need to stop buying PSN credit even discounted though.  I wish I could use it as currency (I already redeemed them).  I know GS lets you get $3 or $4 worth of PSN for their points.

Was in the extended pages they added this morning. Can't find a good link on mobile for it but check the site ad and it should be with the other $14.99 games.
As I pointed out in the same thread, Best Buy seems to have taken down the extended pages from their online BF ad. I don't suppose you remember any other games from that section that weren't listed, like Dishonored DE?

I loved the all red and green unis during last nights NFL game but apparently the most common form of color blindness is red/green.  So people that are color blind couldnt tell which team was which.  So the NFL (and other leagues I guess) now has to take that into account when they dress their teams.

Three more dark world levels. This is like ten times the effort of the entire velocity 2x plat for one dumb trophy.

Edit I did try to 1cc dark forest and that seems possible with some practice. But Jesus.

I think I might finally start up Prototype 2 tonight now that I have a ps3 again (left it at the ex-wife's house for my kid to play, just bought him another and got mine back).

Or maybe I'll finish Guacamelee ps4. Two levels left I think.

I somehow got a Master Chief Collection Xbone bundle for ~$80 from Amazon Warehouse Deals. That's a heck of a profit if I can trade it in to Gamestop for $250.

I'm leaning towards it. Only reason I'm considering Prototype 2 is that it's been soooo long since I've played an open world game. I'm itching to get back into one.
You have a PS4 and it seems like all that has come out for it lately are huge open world games. I liked Prototype 2 well enough, but there are a ton of better options on PS4. Hell... even Prototype 2 was remastered for PS4 (although I think I remember reading the frame rate was worse than on PS3 at times).

Guacamelee is definitely the better game.

Guac is the better game. Especially cause PS4. But Prototype 2 was stupid fun. I love nearly any game that lets you scale buildings and move as fast as you do in that game. Much better than the first game. The first game had a wonky camera that got in the way for me.

About to go try one of these at Which Wich

The kickstarter for amplitude had a tier that included psn codes worth $20 that you could use on post launch DLC or DLC for other harmonix games (or whatever the hell you want since they're just psn codes). They were split up so that one code roughly equals one song. I don't know why they're $2.19 instead of $1.99 though, but I got a set of 10 too so I bet that's where they're from.

Yeah there's several open world games I want for PS4 but I haven't been buying games for months now. Divorce has wrecked me in more ways than one, finances included.

Liked for sweet potato chips, but anything cranberry is fucking disgusting.

Double gross. The soon to be (I dont have a fucking clue when) ex wife's family loves the holiday sandwich from Earl of Sandwich (love Earl for other wiches). They get them every year. They do nothing for me. Sweet potato chips combined to make me throw up in my mouth a little.
