This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

Feel free to make your own Saturday events. I used to do them frequently but I have a hard enough time thinking of games to do for tuesdays/thursdays.

the other issue with the games in bro nights are, sometime the limited capacity of players it allowed. some games only allow max of 4 players, and sometimes there are more players who show up

I didn't show up at all in December due to the late time not working out, but in NOV I schedule a 7 Days to Die event, there was a contagion event in there somewhere I showed up for, and a few others I can't recall. I was late for a few, and it could also be my own clumsiness with logging into the right channel on Discord that made it seem empty. Most of the games played I don't have though, probably about 1 every 3 weeks I actually own.

It hasn't been a big issue yet so far. We split up into groups for Full Mojo Rampage and Gunnheim and it went well. Except one group kind of sucked in Gunnheim, but I blame Bobby for talking on the phone the entire time.

 
Speaking of bro night, would anyone be up for a rfactor night? It was recently bundled, its cheap enough that there are probably more than a few cheap copies floating around.

lol, i kinda want to schedule /redo another past event like freestyle 2 street basketball. the last time, when we had the event, it was so disappointing. we could not even get a full room of 6 people. 

but i am not sure if there are interest in the game other than me, and maybe smackattack.

me and smackattack was playing it almost nightly  after that event , until he quit the game. rofl

i also want to schedule an event, that everyone has the ability to gain easy access to, without having to paid and stuff

It's been as low as $15 if I recall, so maybe some people here bit on it. The only problem with Wreckfest is that the last time I played it it was horribly optimized, although that was a few months back before the "big" update everyone was waiting on for about half a year.

I will say, I found a "stash" of my old disks the other day so going through them I went to see what was on them... I couldn't even tell what some of them were because the resolution was so low and blocky.. but even those were longer than 20 second clips.

Spent a lot of time on RCT but I was always killing people on purpose or not letting them leave... fun times.

Yeah, the 20 sec thing was a bit of hyperbole, but almost everything I had then was under five minutes (aka three minutes too long ;)).

I've had Wreckfest for over a year. I can't recall how much I paid for it, but it couldn't have been that much because I am a cheap bastage..lol

Demolition derby would be a great way to let off some steam.

from the forum, the game is apparently dead with low player base.

also the game love beat, i mentioned ran fine without issues for me. i guess it might be ppl's pc

The problem with that is I skip most F2P stuff. I'd rather play games that I own than free stuff.

Dirt Showdown has demolition derby-ish action and heaps of people have that.

 
Wreckfest has mother fuck ing lawnmower demolition derbies!

Dirt Showdown was pretty good as well.  I really hate the racing in Dirt 2/3, but the stupid event stuff in Showdown made for fun brofistery.

Saw LoveBeat pop up on the new releases list.  Tried it out, lasted about 10 seconds before I wanted to quit.  Couldn't figure out how to exit out of the match I had joined, so I had to suffer through about 4 minutes of awful music.

Rocket League is awesome.

Yeah it's not very good. We've played it before with CAGs anyway. I think I've had my fill for that game unless other people really want to do it again. It's not terrible, there's just not a whole lot of content in it IMO

You know when you describe it, I think, hmmm sounds fun. Then I see it and think NO NO NO! But I would should up if you schedule it on a Tuesday or Thursday. For whatever reason, sports games don't seem to attract a lot of bros, so only Smackattack and I showed up for the basketball game, but it is a good game and I would show up again if we scheduled for another night. We just played Rocket League and had an absolute blast. That game is definitely worth the $20 and is a steal at $8 in a Canadian Bro pack from Brondlestars. I could have kept playing it all night probably. We'll try to schedule it again.

I do wish/hope people would schedule more events. You can schedule them ahead of time on any day. If you schedule them on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday night I will guarantee to be there if I own the game or it is F2P. Mondays and weekends are the worst for me so I don't schedule anything then, but EarthboundX5 used to do his events on Saturdays in the BGCQ group and would get people to join. Flow and Carl and a few other overseas CAGs would also show up for day sessions since it is more convenient to them.

I've had events where no one shows up but me and spoder. It's no biggie. I usually either just play the game a bit on my own and then log off or play something else instead. It's bound to happen, but I wouldn't stop that from discouraging people to schedule stuff.

i don't have the Wreckfest game, but if enough people do, then schedule an event for it. This week was all fakeybro stuff and it was probably the best attended week of events where most people had the most fun.
