PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I don't know if I want to pay $7.50 for the privilege of retrieving med packs over and over.
That is the awful slow way to level up. One other person, both get characters with grenade launchers, there is a particular game mode where you can run to the center of the map and simultaneously shoot grenades at each other. It still takes hours but nowhere near what the med packs take. Plus you have someone to talk with during it all.

I think that was the only way posted when I did it on 360.

I think I'm going to preorder Odin Sphere's Storybook Edition from Amazon. Unless there are some surprise announcements, there don't seem to be many games releasing around that time (June), so I should be able to make time for it.
Just saw the slip cover. I was initially just going to get the vita version, but the storybook edition keeps getting more tempting.

The $5 certs for preordering movies is pretty interesting. Anyone know if they've been doing that long?
I don't think so. They did it for a few movies around the holidays (Mission Impossible, Antman) but that was the first time I noticed it. Definitely hope it sticks around.

Weird. Finished OlliOlli almost exactly a year after I bought it. Downloading the sequel but debating on whether or not I should even play it. Not a bad game to play if you wanna listen to some podcasts or music.

Damn. I thought The Division CE was still in stock at best buy. Guess I'll just stick with the vanilla copy and the $15 cert and wait on buying the season pass.

I know its a free loan to the government but with rates so low and knowing I would spend it on dumb shit anyway I never take any exemptions so I get max money back. It makes me feel good about buying something big when I get the refund back. If I had a little extra money through the year I would never really see it anyway.
Yeah I intentionally get a refund too. It's nice, and I get by fine day-to-day so I don't need a slightly bigger paycheck each week. It's kind of like forced savings.

And I'm pretty sure all my investments were down in 2015. So the government paying me 0% on the money is better than how it would have performed in any of my retirement accounts.

To be fair, she had just turned in the head of the Alaska Republican party for taking oil money, and was running on a platform of anti-corruption.

Her opponent the Democrat (whom I had voted for before) was going for his third term and had been really ineffective.

That Saturday Morning RPG card looks great.  How do you like it (if you're allowed to say)?

EDIT:  Vig'd somehow

Here are the sale prices for the PS+ titles that haven't flipped yet. The prices show up when you get the game into the cart.

Air Conflicts $27.99

Corpse Party: Blood Drive $27.99

Daganronpa Another Episode $27.99

Darius Burst PS4 $41.99

Darius Burst Vita $27.99

Disgaea 5 is $41.99

Dragon Quest Heroes $41.99

Grand Ages: Medieval $41.99

Wasteland 2 $27.99

Xonic $27.99

WRC5 PS4 $34.99

WRC5 PS3 $27.99

WRC5 Vita $20.99

Adding these to cart to get the sale prices was annoying because the cart only allows 4 items now for some reason. When did that change?

Its not items, it's the price. Won't let you go too far over 100$

That's a pretty good trophy card for Saturday Morning RPG, Tyler. Are you enjoying it?

It's alright, I only played the first episode out of five. What it most reminds me of is the Dragon Fantasy Book 1 game. The actual RPG battles are pretty simplistic, I doubt they'll get too difficult through the rest of the game. I didn't die once in the first episode.

So if you're looking for some tactical RPG action you need to look elsewhere, but if you just want a super lite RPG with a lot of 80s references (I'm sure I missed a lot of them, but I got a few) then you'd probably have fun with it.

We usually get a refund but last year we totally blew it on exemptions for my wife's new job and ended up owing a lot. It sucked. We hope we got it right this time.

Not buggy like DF, I hope?

Sounds perfect. I'm definitely down for $10

Also fuck you like quota

My main issue with fleecing the rich is the opportunity cost. Say a billionaire like bill gates has 10 billion in income and pays what some (uncle bernie) want in taxes which would be 9 billion. Yes he can live easliy off 1 billion but that aint the point. The other 9 billion will not just sit there, it will be invested in some fashion. If you think the government can better allocate resources than a smart business man or the market can, I think you are delusional. The market creates and destroys wealth in the most efficient way, and if the government would just get out of the way, we'd be better off as a whole.

Also, kinda pedantic, but whens the last time a poor person gave you a job?
There's also the idea that he has just $10 billion in bills sitting around in a vault.

Gates is -worth- $10 billion based on his stocks, and holdings and other things. If he were to sell of all his stocks, that would devalue the market and everyone else's stocks would go down as a result.

It's all just imaginary money. You can't just say give me your money so we can use it to help others.

That being said, I don't believe in the myth of "Government is standing in the way of people's success." There really isn't anyone who could be a millionaire business man if "only that gosh-darn government would get out of the way" (unless you plan on being involved in a pyramid scheme, slave trade or some other nefarious cause)

Thanks, it sounds like prime wait-for-$5 material. I'm trying to not spend as much cash on things, so I'll likely skip the Limited Run Games release on Friday.

I like how the little guy goes up to the truck with the bat and hits the truck and big mfer gets out of the truck.

Little dude immediately backs up, you know he just went oh shit in his head, even though he has a bat.

So is it worth $10 or wait for a sale?

who was talking about their 20% ps4 code not working?  mine doesn't work either.  it says not valid on this platform or something.  can I not use it on the web store?

we're definitely tax refund people. I don't give a shit if the government uses my money for a while and we always use it on something goofy. we'll probably take a trip with it this year and have some fun. being responsible with your money all the time is obscenely boring and I'd rather use it now while we're all young and can enjoy it than have a healthy nest egg to siphon off of when I'm 60 and my kids are all grown up and living their own lives.
We usually get back a few hundred Federal and pay a few hundred to the state. Last year we owed 1700 or so to the State and a few hundred to Fed IRC. I knew we would owe.

This year we are getting around $2000 combined I think. My wife worked up the numbers today. Next year it will be probably a bit less of return. Not sure if I will adjust my deduction and increase my 401K percentage or just leave it alone. Probably just leave it for one more year since we bought a house tail end of 2014 and want to make sure all our calculations are correct.

Historically I like it to be no more then $500 either way.
