PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Velo the only complaints about SoM were for the beginning, which is definitely the weakest part of the game.

Well, that and the end boss. The end boss sucked.

PS Plus Feb:

Grid Autosport, PS3
Helldivers: Democracy Strikes Back , PS4, PS3, PS Vita
Lemmings Touch, PS Vita
Nom Nom Galaxy, PS4
Nova-111, PS Vita
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, PS3

Not that bad of a month. I have Nova-111 (from reviewing it so can't be salty there) but Lemmings Touch should be kinda cool. Not really interested in either PS3 game but at least I don't have them.
Seems like a pretty damn good month. No slaps here. I was always interested in Nova-111 so I'm happy to see that along with Helldivers and Nom Nom and Lemmings. Might try the Grid game if I get another racing itch.

Anyone up for changing next months multi-player game to nom nom? We started ToO, but it seems pretty glitchy in mp, and trophies seem easier to get on your own.

Also I made money on Helldivers (bought for $15, redeemed PS3/Vita code, sold for about $20) so now I get the PS4 version of the game back, which is nice.

Not bad, though P4A Ultimax is a slap thanks to an unplayed physical copy I bought for ~$20 a year ago.

Yeah that totally sucks to quit playing the game before it gets awesome tho.

SoM was in my top 5 that year, and a great game any year

i still have the goty in the plastic, i heard all the trophies are achievable again, so thats great and looking forward to it

And Helldivers gets boring pretty damn quickly. I'm surprised the guys here lasted as long as they did with it.
for me running with randoms kept it pretty fresh. no two groups ran through things the same - sometimes you'd land in a group that would load all four people up in a vehicle and rush objectives, some people played it like a shooter, some people would run around in circles shooting teammates. it's actually pretty fun that way even if it can be insanely frustrating.

If that's the case, I might just restart. I think I started up on normal. Was there anything miss able you had to watch out for, or did you just go straight through the main story?
I just blasted through the main story and saved before conversations with NPCs in case there was a persuasion option and I failed. Same thing with warded chests, just save right before them and if you fail just reload. Load times are surprisingly quick.

i would get up in the morning and get hate mail from people when my son was playing the game. They are like how are you level 25 and you keep running me over with your mech :) it is a very serious game. Liber Tea

oh my god lemmings touch is brutal.  it's even a little tough if you follow the online (trophy guide) solutions because of the janky touchscreen detection.

p4a ultimax will be good fodder for my fightsticks on autopilot.

helldivers I already have but that game needs a lot of people

I can finally play nom nom galaxy without paying for it to see if gator is right or not.

not a bad month at all.

Hah. Nice. A friend of mine checked my Steam account value. Somehow I'd never bothered to check it.

https://steamdb.info/calculator/76561198066974580/?cc=us

Current account value; $7574
Total cost with sales: $1762

I buy way too many games.
https://steamdb.info/calculator/76561198009811677/?cc=us

Mine isn't nearly as impressive.

1563 account value
382 sale value
148 games over 7 years.

I've slowed down a lot on steam sales now. Partly cause a lot of stuff is coming to consoles, and partly cause I run with a crappy laptop.

Same. The last few Steam sales have been garbage and I'm buying on PS* a lot more often nowadays, or using GS to get access to games. With the size of my
library
I know I can always have a good time anyway.

I do wonder how steamdb calculates for games that have been in bundles. It may just ignore bundles and simply go with the lowest sale price recorded for an individual game. If that's the case then the estimate of how much I've spent is much higher than the reality since I've gotten quite a few humble bundles and the like for ridiculous prices.

This month really is trash for me as none of these games are action (except Helldivers which I already played) and the only racing game isnt full on arcade so even if I had my Ps3 I wouldnt be interested.  First month I can remember like this for me.  Im actually fine with that though since I have been buying like a Pancakes lately anyway.  I have way too many games in the old backlog.

Resetting it is so obvious! How could you not know how to do that?

If you want to pay for shipping, I can send you my extra receiver. I'm not using it for anything.
Thanks man!

He is eating chips and pizza, dog.

EDIT: Burnt pizza that he forgot in the oven last week.
Well it's back to healthy foods until at least next week but yeah I was carrying some food when I stepped on it.

Ohhhhhhhh now I remember Nom Nom Galaxy after googling it. That's game you IA guys were playing when I said it kinda looks like Terraria. Tyler replys with an annoyed voice "why do people keep saying that, I dont think it looks like it at all"...to which one of the guys involved in making it and is in the chat says it's "Terarria-esque".

All I really remember besides that is you guys making canned food and launching it into space.

My Steam Profile (from SteamDB)

  • Worth: $785 ($161 with sales)

  • Games owned: 58

  • Games not played: 30 (52%)

  • Hours on record: 66.7h

Yeah, I know that's at least partially a lie on mine. Most of those games were humble bundle, steam sale (lower than the price they have listed) or free redemption codes. I think I've only ever bought maybe 5-10 games over $10, and my list has way more than that lol.

Our youngest left his glasses on the floor and they got stepped on, but he's just a kid and kids do stuff like that. Pancakes???

Disc version of Helldivers has all the DLC right? That's reason enough not to be too salty about the slap. I've thought about getting Lemmings Touch a few times and I've been kinda interested in Nom Nom Galaxy, but not enough to pay anything for it. Decent month for me.

PS+ list has very little for me this month. Got nova for about $6 a few months back. Still haven't finished it. I'll play helldivers with people though, my co-op partner bailed on me pretty quick for that one. I thought the game was pretty fun.

yeah Tyler was just being his indie defending self. Nom nom certainly looks like a Terraria.

Launching canned food into space sounds sooo exciting

You're right. I thought this was the ultra version we were getting with Plus but it's not. So my PS3 and Vita versions will have all the DLC included, but my PS4 version won't (because the DLC for the PS4 version is on the disc I think, DLC for PS3 and Vita versions came with the code)

Wait, it's on disc? Well that may be reason enough for me to hang on to my copy instead of taking $16 from Gamestop for it tonight.

I assumed that Helldivers on plus had more game included not less, It has more letters in it's name. What kind of trickery is this?

Mordor didn't grab me at all. I played a few hours and thought it was super boring. Since I just had a free rental, I didn't bother to keep playing.
See below...

Yeah it's definitely a game that you have to get further into to enjoy, IMO. I found the beginning to be pretty dull and was disappointed with my purchase until I got maybe 1/3-1/2 of the way into it, at which point the powers and combat and nemesis system all kind of clicked together.
Hell Yeah! GREAT GAME GREAT GAME GREAT GAME!

I have no interest in a single game on the plus list this month. fuck Sony and their sort hating asses.
I tend to agree, maybe I'll give Helldivers a shot. But overall I'm feeling pretty meh on the list.

Yeah that's what threw me off too. "Democracy Strikes Back" isn't the ultra deluxe version, "Super-Earth Ultimate Edition" is.

The Helldivers DLC isn't really critical though, is it, Mild? I know you bought some of it.
What tyler said. It can be fun and one of the mechs is dope but the game is totally fine without it. I always went back to original game loadouts after buying dlc since it was more effective.

Not much for me on either system, which is fine. Can't win em all. Plus is definitely better though, and on the brightside, I'll have people to play nom nom with.

The Helldivers DLC is confusing. Some of it combines others into combined packs, but some of it maybe isn't in a combined pack? Not sure. What would you need to buy to have all of the DLC at the cheapest price? FYI, I can't buy the Super-Earth Ultimate Edition because I have the base version. Wish there was an Ultimate Edition upgrade pack.
