I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

3. Must have played ANY Final Fantasy game on steam (doesn't matter which)

I gave my little brother a Final Fantasy game on DS once.

I would never play that crap myself though. Convoluted anime crap. I knew a girl once who went on and on how one of them made her cry.

I like 'em. And the only time they're convoluted is when their writers decide to just say fuck it to logic, so maybe 3 out of all of them. Also, everyone cries when Kain turns on his bro Cecil.

My experience was something similar... First boot up it was so large that I saw about a 3rd of the actual screen. Closed it and reloaded it and I got the windowed BS at less than 1080. In the options I could change it to full screen or mess with the resolution but not both at the same time. Change one, back out, accept the change, go back in and change the other. (if need be.)

I swapped to a new video card since the Siege beta (my only experience with the game) but The Division is more demanding but I suspect you should be getting better than 30 FPS. NVIDIA released new drivers for the beta and Rise of the Tomb Raider on the 27th of Jan. Might want to check your drivers.

Maybe Fox should buy one of those, and ditch the PS4 controller that he keeps having problems with on bronights. The one thing Xbone is good for.. the controller.

By the time I got the adapter I was up to Win 10 but it's had drivers put out for Win 7/8 since release, it's just not native plug and play. Thing works great though.

I feel like using a standard XB1 controller with a USB would wind up breaking the port eventually.

Okay:

1. The first time I had issues was bluetooth, but since I went wired those haven't returned.

2. The second time was that shitty game you fleeced me with, Dirt Rally.

3. Mine was only $27 and it has a little touch pad thingy.

You could have traded it for $44 to GS last week and bought Amazon credit and bought the XB1 controller though!

 
So I finally talked myself into purchasing something on g2a since the White March Expansion set hasn't seen any decent sales, and it was all sold out.  Oh g2a, why do you make it so easy to hate you?

so i'm reading the reviews for Tales of Symphonia and seems like a real mess. resolution locked to 720p, frame-rate locked to 30 fps.crashes, etc. glad i payed cheaper without the game. until the bugs get fixed, then i'll look for a sale...

Zestiria was a mess at launch too, but it got patched quickly. I'd give it a day or two and see if it gets patched.

Everytime I play Siege it tells me "Warning: You are running an unsupported graphics driver, please update your driver for optimal performance." But it runs fine so I just ignore it. I guess I should look into it for The Division.

So I got to try the game again before the beta ended. Mostly just 30 minutes of tweaking settings. The auto-detect puts me at ultra which is when I average 30 something frames. I tried Low and got a steady 59, then I set frames rate limit to 120 and peaked 88.

Good info to know! :) (Though USB ports are rather durable and using one for a controller isn't a big deal... Unless you're clumsy, stupid, or both.)

Edit: Apparently you are on to something... Its not the USB port on the PC that has issues its the Micro USB port on the controller that's the weak link.

I suspect its good for other things (don't own one) but, yeah, the controller is no doubt a highlight. I game with a regular wired xbox 360 controller but I'm considering an upgrade as its far from new.

My only hangup on this deal is the new Elite Controller... Its really shiny, looks like a serious upgrade, and did I mention its really shiny? That said I'm not sure which is the bigger hangup... The price or what looks like a Window 10 requirement. (Who am I kidding...? The Windows 10 requirement. I got no desire to upgrade to it at this time.)

I've sort of looked around for info on seeing if one can bypass that requirement but so far no real luck on finding solid info on it being able to do. (If anyone's got links/experience otherwise I would love to see or hear it.)

3) Must travel to the alternate reality where witchers are real, go become a witcher, hunt down a griffon and bring back its head

really this should be easy if you are truly a fan of the witcher series
