Vita update

I often feel like if I don’t mention Vita, people will assume that it’s not always on my mind. It is, and I can report that significant progress has been and is being made! I will be giving some more detailed updates on this in the next month or so, but for now let’s just say that there’s some light at the end of the tunnel. Keep in mind that it is retroactively cross-buy, so if you bought Axiom Verge on PS4 already, you will get the Vita version for free when it launches. Also, if any of your friends have a Vita, they can take advantage of the aforementioned upcoming sale and get both for the price of one!

Thanks again for everyone’s support and patience. It was a lot more complicated than any of us expected it to be, but we’re getting there.

Grabbed that Good Friends pack.

Guns, Gore & Cannoli, Axiom Verge and Ninja Senki DX for $21.97 total. Hmm. Wish there was a $20 PSN card deal out there right now. Is there?

oh man I might go all cagmath this week between the $15 back on $100, $10 off $60 with paypal and the 20% off coupon.  I'm going to go read some baseball stats or something to calm down.

Spiderman Shattered Dimension is also $15 which might be something to help push you over $100 as that's more in line with what you'll pay to get a physical copy than previous sales.

Shattered Dimensions was also great.

Only thing I'll probably get this week is Taco Master lol. Maybe Hitman but I have so much other shit to play I can wait til 50% off.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is $12.  I wonder if that's a decent enough deal having to buy the Star Wars playsets separately.  Gonna have to research this one.

Nice. Is it me or does the difficulty of getting the scrolls near the end really ramp up in how hard/dumb they are to get?

Finally got oleg grief last night, the video guide that goes through all of them was making another impossible jump for me, found another video that shows the RIGHT way to do it and got it pretty easily with that.

Now i cant seem to get up the freaking chute with the alternating blue and red blocks right after oleg grief where you have to jump up and go from red bubble to blue bubble, cant get the timing right. Might just give up on it for now and maybe come back to it later, shit is just frustrating at this point.
Oleg's Grief took me a number of tries as well. My issue with some of them at the end is that it required quick actions, but it seemed like the responsiveness varied from try to try. Like on oleg's grief when you have to hang/dash over the top part, one run, it would magnetize without any issue, then the next 5 runs, my guy would just fall down, even though I'm doing the exact same thing. I played it on vita so maybe that had something to do with it.

The chute one seemed like a little luck. Something that may help is that if you continue to hold whatever color you start with and then hold the other, it will override it, and then when you let it go, it will go back, so it's a little less coordination (hold L1, hold R1 while still holding L1, release R1 and it would go blue, red blue). That was confusing typing it, so hopefully it makes sense, haha.

I've always had the impression that Teslagrad was a very easy plat. You guys are making it sound like that is not the case.
I would say on the whole it is easy, there are just a couple of the scrolls that kind of a pain and will take a lot of retries.

Ill buy Guns and Canoli since $5 or less is my buy price for anything I am interested in.  Sorry Axiom Verge, with my backlog I cant justify paying more than $5 for any PSN game.

apparently there's a bug? with the PvZ 2 deluxe edition where the code for digital bonuses is giving you the full game? Kinda tempted, but I don't know if I could make it to best buy on lunch today. https://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/354553-ps4-pvz-garden-warfare-2-deluxe-edition-gives-free-digital-version-of-the-game/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+cheapassgamer+%28Cheap+Ass+Gamer+-+Video+Game+Deals+Forum%29
Damn. Definitely gonna keep an eye on that thread. Was going to pick up the standard version after work but this would be awesome.

Pick it up so we can play. But then again I feel like this might be $5 or less soon.
Talked myself off the ledge. Amazon has the trade value at $33. Most other places will probably have it for the same. $30 for the digital copy is too much with the division right around the corner. Sorry pancakes lol.

Yeah, I'm considering the same. It's a game the wife would watch me play, too. She wants me to buy Lego Dimensions as well.

Kinda hard to resist Conception II for $9.

What about this Volume game for Vita. $9. Opinions?

I'll pick up Swap Quest as well.

Forgot swapquest came out today, really thinking about grabbing that one.
Level mechanics, class changes, $6 with plat, and tile swapping puzzles had me sold.

I'm all aboard the Volume hype. Game was freaking excellent. It's a stealth puzzler though so not sure if you're into that.

After playing DA:I I'm kinda tempted to jump into Witcher 3 at $25. OTOH the season pass is still another $25...OTOH the base game is long enough that waiting to play the expansion content down the road might be better anyway...  :whistle2:k

Maybe I should fire up the first game. I heard it's not as good, gameplay-wise. That might be enough to cool my spending ardour a bit.

More IA whoring. Dying Light review:

http://invertedaccess.com/2016/02/23/dying-light-review/

It definitely struggled finding any fun in the game at the beginning. Zombies were too strong and basically all I did was run from every confrontation. I didn't find the parkour controls to work that well or be that interesting, so honestly it was pretty boring to start off with. After I got guns, and even moreso after I got an awesome machete, the game got WAY better.

Reivew for the Following DLC should be up later this week. Simm was right, it's huge.
