So, I've found the only way to ensure any measure of accuracy is to clean the screen after pretty much every game mode. Even so, I'm stuck on 27 in Tropical Fury now, going as fast as I can and am getting overwhelmed around 6 orders, don't know HTF I am supposed to get to 19. That difficult rating of 2 on the trophy guide is complete bullshit. How do so many people have this plat? Am I missing something that makes this such a cakewalk?

Since it's entirely up to the devs which trophy list a game gets now I really wonder why Sony doesn't just do away with the partial trophy list option. There's nothing to stop a dev from putting out a game with a super easy set of golds and a plat now, right? Seems a bit silly to leave that up to the developers at this point.

You want to restart until your first few orders are simple ones so you can have some wiggle rooms towards the end.

I thought it was pretty easy. My guess is that you're tilting right now.

 
4 trophies left in Ni No kuni. Only have 53 familiars left to get, made good progress on that over the weekend. So a big part of the grind is out of the way, though I know the 102 different alchemized items I have left to make will defnitely take some time.

If you're in need of jumbo drops to morph familiars, the fastest way I've found to get them is to play platoon at the casino. One good run should give you more credits than you need. I've still got a ways to go. I'm progressing slowly through the story since I'm knocking out every bounty and errand as I get access to them and working my way through feeding and leveling my familiars at the same time. Is there somewhere that gives you the stats for how many familiar types you've trained and how many items you've alchemized? It'd be nice to have something quick to glance at to check my progress.

If you've tamed a familiar, there will be a heart at the top of it's entry in the creature compendium, accessed through the telling stone in the menu. It also tells you the total different types tamed and total different types defeated in the compendium as well. If you've alchemized an item from a recipe you have, the item's picture will show in the recipe list, a question mark will show if not.

For the recipes, I just printed a list off IGN to cross off as I go to keep track of items I don't have recipes for.

I don't get how we still say it makes no sense that Game A had these trophies but Game B doesn't.

Tyler literally told us the reasons why and people are still acting like it's some completely random system.

I actually forgot those reasons. Did Taco Master satisfy some requirement which other games that could have gotten a plat (e.g., SOMA) didn't?

Tyler's not the boss of me! He doesn't get to say which of my games get a plat and which don't!

 
There were a couple requirements, but it boiled down to basically checking off a box for which type of trophy set you want with your game.

So anyone picking up The Division tomorrow?  I dont think I heard anyone talking about it.  I was thinking I may get it due to that sweet $10 preorder cred.  But only if some peeps want to carry me through the whole game.

I've been thinking about it but with my backlog I might as well wait for it to be $30 in a few months anyway.

Yeah I never really was a huge fan of the previous Tom Clancy games and never got around to checking out the beta. I will probably grab it when cheaper especially if it as good as some of the hype seems to be.

I'm trying to figure out whether I want to do a preorder through Best Buy today. I played a little of the beta and have been trying to figure out what elevates it above the blah third person shooter it appears to be (at least in people's pre-release-hype minds). Say what you will about Destiny, it at least has some rock solid FPS gameplay. The Division cover shooting feels clunky to me. I guess it's the MMOish stuff that people are interested in. My gaming schedule is erratic enough that I would mostly play with randoms and probably have a lot less fun.

 
I was gonna go into work today, but then I woke up hacking up my lungs. When I tried to call my boss I sounded like a lung cancer patient on their death bed. Maybe all that chatting yesterday wasn't a great idea...

So I went into work today even though I knew my AC was busted. Call the ac guy and he comes right away so I leave work 10 minutes after arriving.

Anyway I think my outside unit just killed itself.

You never should have mentioned having disposable income. The universe seems to have a way to rectify those situations. Hopefully it wont be too bad.

yeah definiantly not mentioning it ever again. At least this isnt wholy unexpected as I have had trouble with this thing 3 years in a row now.
 
Im off today too, being up all night cause of your kid is no fun. She wasnt even sick, just would not sleep, it was kinda crazy. She finally fell asleep again after watching like 1 hour of elmo world videos at like 330. I got maybe 3-4 hours of sleep.

So yea plan to finally go get watch dogs and get helldivers and then trade it right in to gamestop to get all the DLC for the game.

That Kinect Fable game was so bad.

 
Anyone play the Hitman beta this weekend?  I fired it up Saturday night and did the first training mission, but then fell asleep when they wanted me to do it again 42 different ways.  Seemed like it could be fun, but was basically an adventure game with all the go here so you can go here so you can grab this item so you can get this outfit so you can go here now stuff.

Full disclosure:  This is the first time I ever played a Hitman game.

 
I guess you could say I am off today.  In reality it is a travel day.  Leaving for the airport in an hour.  I like to go to different places, but the traveling to get there sucks.  Someone really needs to figure out how to make a Star Trek teleporter. 

At least I know I will get work to buy me a beer or three at a restaurant when I get there.

Let me know when you are ready to work on the Watchdogs online stuff. There was only one 100MB patch and 100MB or so DLC (I had redeemed that back when the game was new) and then my game saves. Guess I was thinking of some other game with massive patches.

This isn't a knock against Microsoft, but it really seems like Microsoft takes a lot of good studios and turns them into shit and then closes them. Maybe it's my imagination...but it seems like a trend.
