PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Yeah, that was my same thought on reading it. I haven't played much of the game but certainly enough to know that the directions in the 10-hour version are insufficient. The way it's written would require doing additional research for many steps to determine where to go.

You like those games enough that I can't see you skimping out on the experience even if the directions were great, though, and duping stuff everywhere to save 40 hours doesn't seem like something you'd do for a title in a series you enjoy.
I know it was technically cheating to use the dupe glitch, but I still enjoyed the whole experience. To me, the glitch eliminated the stress of having to potentially grind in Demon's Souls, which isn't as fun or easy to do as in later Souls games. Also, even with my super-buffed character, the bosses still presented a challenge, plus the areas remained fun to explore, especially the Tower of Latria (World 3).

I beat the two world 1 bosses again, as well as the armor spider in world 2 so far. I do still love this game just so confusing as far as going for the plat. I'll for sure look for that guide you mentioned vig before I get any further into it. I haven't used the 3 demons souls i got from the bosses yet because I need those for something, right?

Correct. You never want to use the boss souls unless you dupe them, as they're required to craft unique weapons for one of the trophies. Here's the guide I mentioned: http://psnprofiles.com/guide/989-Demons-Souls-Trophy-Guide

So how do India and Russia compare to AC: China? Is it more of the same or do they each have a pretty different feel between the change in protagonists and setting?

Each game adds more to the gameplay, though I'm not far enough in AC: Russia to say how much it adds beyond the ability to shoot a gun at will. India added awesome and much-needed smoke bombs, takedowns (non-lethal version of assassinations), and pickpocketing, but had too many chase levels and insta-death elements compared to AC: China. In terms of the controls, they're pretty much exactly the same aside from the protagonist and setting changes.

Overall, AC: China is the best of the three so far and I'll see how AC: Russia compares once I've made more progress.

It drives me nuts how some comic book movies pretend like nobody dies, like there are no civilian casualties.
I haven't seen Batman vs Superman yet, but Snyder addressed that when talking about why Batman kills in the movie. I thought it was interesting--he makes references to the Nolan trilogy (he counted 42 kills) and to Frank Miller's comic as well:

http://batman-news.com/2016/03/25/why-does-batman-kill-in-batman-v-superman/

Regardless of whether you like Snyder, I don't think he's off-base with this.

If that duping glitch was available when I was playing I would have used it on colorless demon souls, stones of ephemeral eyes, and ores.

In dark souls you use small shards, then transition to large shards, then chunks, and then finally a slab. In Demon's Souls they cost small shards, then large shards AND small shards, then chunks AND large shards AND small shards, and then finally 1 or 2 pures AND chunks, AND large shards AND small shards. Fully upgrading a high level item requires a much large volume of lower tier upgrade materials.

You also need about 30-35 stones of EE to do all the black tendency events.

Demon's Souls are like Mega Man boss weapons, except often you have more than one choice of which to pick and you can only use them on one thing unless you dupe them. They be used in crafting for unique weapons, spells, miracles, and occasionally have other specialized uses.

Ugh. Can't get past this one part in 5-4 of Stealth Inc 2. Requires split second timing requiring you jump when thrown upward then throw your tool  to a higher ledge while in the air.

L then X then Right stick 45 degree angle, R..... Shit!

I like how every Souls/Miyazaki game has had "that one boss" for me that requires full concentration, patience, knowledge of its moveset, and fast response times:

Demon's Souls: False King Allant

Dark Souls: Artorias the Abysswalker

Bloodborne: Watchdog of the Old Lords (Chalice Dungeon version)

And now Fume Knight from Dark Souls II (Crown of the Old Iron King DLC). Dang, it felt good to beat him.

I can't watch that TIny House Hunters shit on HGTV without getting infuriated every time. Who the fuck wants to live like that? Shut the fuck up. We get it. You're so whimsical. You don't need a normal size house to live in when you can fry some eggs while you're sitting on the toilet. JFC.

At least they're right there waiting for when that morning cup of coffee triggers the morning shit.

So I'm getting caught up on Marvel movies so I can see Cap 3.

Cap 2 was good, probably the best Marvel movie I've seen.

Avengers 2 was good for the first half but then kinda fell apart.

Ant Man was stupid. The premise...just too damn stupid for me.

What part of the premise? Most of it is based on the comics.

I enjoyed Ant-Man for the light-hearted approach and as a stand alone movie.

However, I see Marvel is bringing Ant-Man into the main Avengers movie line. So I have reservations about it as I agree with you the premise is stupid. But, unlike you, I embraced the obserdity of it and enjoyed the movie.

I hope he is not in the Avengers movie to simply crack jokes and be in funny situations.

I watched and man yesterday and thought it was fun.

In regard to batman not killing people, I HD that conversation with someone right after I saw the latest movie. I made a comment about how that's the only thing I don't like about batman is that we're just expected to believe he never kills someone even though he's blasting them with rounds from the batmobile or punching them across a room and out a window. And this happens in every single movie. I was told "He uses concussion rounds and he knows how to punch just hard enough to do that stuff but not kill them."

Yeah ok. Concussion round or not, when it's being fired out of a cannon into someone's chest, it's probably going to kill more people than not. Some random dude in a wifebeater that batman seems to always fight is going to have his heart stopped the second that thing hits him. I can believe all the other crazy shit that happens in comic movies, but the batman doesn't kill logic basically asks me to be an idiot.

Ant Man is probably dumb but looks like the kind of movie I would like.  Plus its got Paul Rudd in it.  He's pretty damn funny in every movie I have seen him in.

I cant imagine ANT MAN is supposed to be taken seriously.  But if they put him in the new Avengers...that may make it even worse than the original Avengers amirite?

Uh oh, the new guy figured us out within days!  He must be smarted than the average CAG.

And anytime someone says wack/whack...I think of this from the water boy.  Cause crack is whack!

I've been up for over 2 hours now and I barely feel like killing myself.  This must be opposite day or something.

Ant man was good, I don't know why Tyler doesn't like it.  I guess it doesn't make that much sense why he is a scientist who found a way to shrink down but then he also can talk to ants like some kind of land-aquaman.  But if you think that, you're thinking too hard about a movie called ant man.

I don't recall anybody commenting on the Doom MP beta over the weekend. Did nobody play it?
Cro, Pancakes and I played the closed beta a few weeks ago. Since I dont like competitive MP I will let them tell you if its good or not. I did think the environments looked kind of plain. But it was fun playing with those guys. It was fast and responsive to me.

Jimbo played the beta back then too I think and he and I are about the same on it I think.

Still excited for the SP. EDIT: and the $10 cert like PAUL said! HYPE!

I can't say anything about those people as that's a "reality" show, but the idea is to live in a house that costs peanuts to buy and maintain, and then you can take some simple, modest paying job and do fine and/or retire early and/or work less. That's the appealing part of the equation.

I get the wanting to save money and the environment but somehow I get the feeling these people are working harder just to live. At least thats my personal take. I dont need a big house, but having to sit on the toilet to eat and cook is nuts.

Dont shit where you eat!

I read a bit about the mulitplayer in Doom and was disappointed. It's not really old school. Like modern shooters, people who play more unlock weapons and stuff they can bring into the arena from the start. There are weapon and health pickups, sure, but those people start with an advantage. They should have gone full old-school.

I played a few rounds of the closed Beta. Meh. Didn't do much for me. I'm more interested in a fun campaign anyway. Definitely picking up because of that $10 reward zone cert.
This is exactly how a I feel. A friend of mine did play both the Alpha/Beta and this weekend the Beta. He wasn't impressed by the MP. I also played the first beta/alpha and was a best luke warm to it.

Will play through it trade it back and pick up UC4.

I don't watch that show since no cable (well I did a little when I have the Vue trial), but the ones I've seen there's nothing like that. They have a toilet and shower in a tiny bathroom. Nothing gross like you're talking about. Well, not counting that some tiny houses don't have plumbing so they have a composting toilet or whatever it's called. That type would be too gross for me, but others have plumbing.
