Oh I know. I just foolishly wish for an Elder Scrolls that doesn't look like shit unless I spend way too much time fussing with mods.

Why would they touch up skyrim of all games? Seriously anything else would make more sense. Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, whatever. But no let's re-release our 2nd newest game, which even played without mods looks fine.

It's called money. Kids these day won't pay for Morrowind or Oblivion Remastered. Not to mention that it is easier to make a Skyrim's Remaster (again money) than making it on older games instead.

Less money invested, more revenue.

Huh? I realize I've never had a top-of-the-line rig, but you really think Skyrim looks like garbage? Aside from being relentlessly wintry (more winter-per-square-meter than six George R.R. Martin books), I thought it looked fine.

I always thought the models in Skyrim looked... muddy. Something about them ain't great. Fallout 4 looks better and that's the same engine.

On the other hand, there's a bajillion mods for changing the models so that still doesn't answer what we need "remastered".

Also, I got my $5 VR doohickey yesterday from that mobile phone offer. It's all right. Build quality is obviously better than cardboard but there's minimal ability to adjust the lenses and it's pretty heavy. For $5, it's a nifty toy but I'm glad that all it was was $5.

But they didn't say anything about not giving it away free on gleam!

Oh and that "99% finished state" is such bs. It's a bomberman clone, it NEEDS online multiplayer. I checked the forum and they do have plans to add multiplayer but it's not currently in it. Online MP isn't 1% of the development state.. it should be like 50% or more lol.

What if the MP is done and they just need to write a few lines of code to integrate it into the game. Then it would only be around 1%. Stop being so cynical, Spoder.

Morrowind needs a facelift the most but it's too artsy fartsy weird for the Xbox d00dbros and PSweebs. Also it wasn't really designed for consoles so they'd have to overhaul the who danged thing because the console port was half assed.
 
Oblivion is more generic and was designed for consoles but it would require more of an extreme makeover which means more effort and more money.
 
Skyrim even though I think looks muddy murky and bleh (they hide behind art design but it's low res poor textured stuff even the "HD". Yes I have high standards; I used to mod for ES and looked at all their assets up close in editors) they can just slap some cold cream on and call it good.

See, I'd be jazzed about a Morrowwind revamp.  I know it's supposed to be the bee's knees and all but I can't get excited about that c.2002 graphic game world.  Even with the environment modded, the models look like turds.

Why don't you guys just use the Morrowind overhaul? It only takes about 5 hours to set up properly but once it's up and running you can get the best possible experience for the 10 minutes you spend playing the game. Say hi to Fargoth for me!

I mean, don't really care about Skyrim.  I seem to feel like most that it was a pretty weak link.

But I am excited about Injustice 2... which.. I'm sure they'll let me down.  But there is a twinge of hope.  (soon to be snuffed)  Man, I could have sworn I owned it on Steam as the Ultimate.. but I don't see it.... weird.  I beat the crap outta that game day 1.
