This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

Did G2A recently become a legit key reseller? Tried to give some info about them in xbox code thread here on the deals page, but I just can't believe people still defend them lol

seems to me that the console people love G2A, they dont know that they are supporting human trafficking and terrorists!

I got IP banned a while back for using it so I don't anymore.

I didn't get any trojan from that page but I wasn't wearing my tinfoil hat so who knows?

I look at the stuff because it's there and I'm nosy.
Use gleamhelper to add links to join/leave groups and unfollow/untweet stuff.

Then do the "click and drag" to trick the "visit this website" tasks.

Also why are we talking about Japan exclusive PS4 exclusives?
Given Square's track record of late w/ porting FF games to the PC, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets here...eventually.

I hope it's just a PS4 timed-exclusive for a while and at some point later in time FF12 HD winds up here on the PC; even if it's a few years down the road.

Drabe tried to make me activate some crappy game like My Bones or Lucius 2 for 3k.

BUT HE FAILED

It is bad... I went to check the news, ended reading about Kim Kelly's famous diet among others. Don't google it.

In other news, today have been a busy day. FFXII HD, Agents of Mayhem/ Dead Rising 4 pics/ yooka laylee/FiFa 17

Again.......
OMG @ that Agents of Mayhem trailer - That was awesome.

I hope the actual game itself in-game looks like that.

And with the Saints Row references at the end, this better be a SR spin-off and take place in the SR Universe.

Finished off the Arkham Knight story DLC. All of it is extremely and saddeningly short and not at all worth paying more than $5 for on total (season pass).  Uninstalling the game soon. I have no interest in the AR challenges/New game + or anything like that at the moment, so I consider myself done with the game for the foreseeable future.

I really liked the Harley Quinn and Red Hood DLC even if they were less than 30 minutes playtime each. Basically each are a small slice of  Arkham gameplay with different characters. I'd even be open to full games with either of these characters in the lead. Red Hood is very much an antihero. He uses guns and actually kills people, so its a nice change of pace from Batman's no-kill stance. I did enjoy Matter of Family as well which is Batgirl and Robin centric and attempted some manner of depth. There's a DLC pack that I played through called Season of Infamy which adds some more villains to track down in the main game. They're similarly short to the other DLC packs, but they get added to the main game unlike the other ones which show up as "Arkham Episodes". I wasn't impressed at all with shit-ass Nightwing or Robin's solo DLC offering. Catwoman's was also a little bland, but shes fun to control at least.

I have one more thing to do, but I have no desire to play collect-a-bot and hunt down over 200+ Riddler trophies. The Riddler sucks anyway, so thats it. I watched the 100% ending on Youtube which added pretty much nothing but less than a minute onto the non-100% end cutscene.

Id give the game a solid 7/10 everything considered. It goes well with the other Arkham games, but the DLC is embarrassing due to length.

I won't ever understand why people think "milestone" games have to be a good one. If 95% of the rest of your library is shit, what does it matter what #3000 is?
That's why I pick something shit and memorable like Barbie Puppy Rescue.

I played the full 6 hour trial of Mirror's Edge Catalyst on PC and it's pretty good, kinda like it. I loved the first one and this one is a bit different with more open world bullshit side stuff to do but the parkour running is still really good and plus you get a grappling hook too. It's $36 on mexico origin, worth the $36 imo.  Also runs great on Ultra at 1080p with my new 970.

Eh, I can't really agree with this. While I did like the trial a bit and felt it was executed well, it still has the same problems as the original in that the city seems really dead and I found a lot of the side shit tedious, but the main story interesting. It screams no more than $20 to me, which I bet it hits by the end of year as Origin is surely to put it on sale around the holidays (via Mexico).

You expected average joes to hang around highrise rooftops and do parkour with the pros?

I get what you mean, but it's pretty well lively as it is for a game like this. A game where you either sneaking inside buildings or running away, there's no time to think about anything else. Instance where you have to fight bad guys at times, there's a lot going on already. A game about usually being isolated and running freely is the feel of the game. If you want something "not dead", there's Ass Creed.

Fair points, but is it worth $36?

It certainly looked interesting... I thought the coolest part was just the Saints Row references at the end. (Well, that and Hardtack.)

Apparently, it is a shared universe with Saints Row.

Also not sure if it was this thread but I agree that the game reminds me of FUSE before EA sent it to the Generic Game Testing.

Except the improved graphics in that come from a shitton of different mods that you have to hunt down piecemeal and stitch together with popsicle sticks and hope it all holds up. So yeahno.

That being said, I'm sure any graphical upgrades will be hindered by the fact that they are being tailored for XBO and PS4 and not the PC.

Missed my point.

And now you caught it.

The hint that this remaster was a console thing was when it brought up mod support as a new feature.
