That is almost certainly the answer. I have that pack, and I went to the store page for Fall Of Civ and it said that I already own it. Impressive detective work on your part.

*tips hat*

I'm gonna continue calling ToZ #4,000 though. It occurs to me that all I'd need to do to make it #4,000 in fact, would be to delete some shitty bundle game from my account (lord knows I have enough potential candidates for deletion). Every game activated after the deleted game would get moved back one spot.

I'm just gonna pretend that I'm not too lazy to actually go to the trouble of deleting a game, and voila, ToZ becomes #4,000.
In high school, I knew a girl who was born again and so she pledged to stop having sex until marriage so she called herself a born again virgin. I always found that funny. The concept of sinning (lying to yourself) to somehow redeem past sins (evil sex).

So I did my first G2A dirty dirty deed and purchased Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for $39. I used my recently won G2A gift card so it's not like I'm up the creek without a paddle or beer if this purchase goes sideways. My order was placed, received, and all of that good stuff, but I probably won't receive my Steam key until the 23rd (fingers crossed).

The whole time while on that site and then after I made my purchase this scene from WoWS kept going through my head:

Did you buy "insurance?" (AKA G2A shield)

It's a dangerous world, would be a shame if something were to happen to Adam Jensen between now and the 23rd :whistle2:

240GB SSD simply isn't enough for games :(
Of course not.

I'd guess most gamers stick "this is the game I'm playing the hell out of" on the SSD for now + to cut down on any games w/ huge load-times if possible - i.e. GTA5; Witcher 3; & probably any other open-world game w/ huge files and/or tons of files to load when you start the game's boot-up (i.e. probably the whole damn game-world or close to it); etc etc.

Even 500GB isn't enough. Certain games are just massive. I do like to keep some installed since I play a few still. I had to delete others that I rarely start up. :(
GTA5 PC is taking-up around 65GB on my normal HDD.

Load times here are like 3-5 minutes on a normal HDD (7200rpm).

Might be time to seriously look into SSD; these GTA5 PC load times suck.

I just tested it myself. I'm running it off my refurb Hitachi Utrastar and from the time I double click to the time I am in game with Franklin it is a few seconds under 2 minutes.

With cloud saves and the ability to download games quickly, why keep more than a handful on the hard drive? And 3-5 minute load times? That's ridiculous. Get a ssd.

My current set up is:

500GB Samsung 850 EVO for games with long load times

1TB WD Blue for games with short load times

1TB WD My Passport Ultra for backups

Hate having to redownload anything on my 6 Mbps connection.

That's why I'm planning on getting 1TB SSD right when it costs less then one months wage.

50GB probably takes like 3 days to download :(

no fiber = no fun

Not here. Around 3m40secs for GTA5 PC to load on my WD Black 7200rpm.

Load times here for GTA5 PC suck.

My desktop PC = i7 950 Bloomfield; 16GB RAM DDR3; "4GB" 970; some 7200rpm WD Black HDD's; 7200rpm Toshiba HDD; W7 64.

How the fuck do you have a 2MBps connection. Stop being a Bobby, go pay for better internet!
Probably the only ISP available. AT&T is for my area. The fastest plan they offer is 6 Mbps down, 0.5 Mbps up, and 150GB cap. All for the reasonable price of $60 a month. Not to mention the constant disconnects.

att land blows ass. even if you have suckverse in your area the most you will get is 23mbps which in reality is less then 20. I just got bandwidth shamed this week because it took like 40 mins to get dead by daylight.

Otherside of road: 100 Mbps fiber

This side of road: ADSL2 bad quality copper connected to DSLAM couple of kilometers away.

Sucks very much.

TB is right, I can't get anything else because of some jurisdiction clause. It's the highest they go and costs $40/month, but there aren't any bandwidth caps. But if I moved 20 miles south, I could get 50Mbps for only $15 more with a 250/month cap.

I'll just wait for Toasternet to go live and hopefully get free internet with slow on the uptake upload speeds.

Wanted to know if anyone here got RTSS to work with ToZ after community patch and configuring the tool? I had done everything what they said and even editing the .cfg manually and OSD doesn't show up. A minor annoyance but other than that, the patch is perfect for me.

Edit: Confusion on my part, but everything working now.

I figured you were just running GTA V straight off of CD-ROM 1 of 85 you got in your physical copy.

I like to keep my list of installed games tidy and also don't play many multiplayer games, so I typically uninstall when I finish a game. If the game files are too big to re-download or I might want to play it again I back them up to an external drive.

In my case games that use less than 3-4 GB aren't really worth backing up, needing to buy more storage, etc. If a person has tight data caps or really slow speeds then certainly it makes sense to back up as much as you can.

Okay...solved the GTA5 PC long load times issue, thanks to searching on Steam boards.

Basically, TURN OFF Auto Scan for Music User Files for Self Radio - b/c if you turn it on, it scans EVERY TIME you start the game up; whether you made changes of not.

You should choose to manually scan Self Radio for new user music files (under Audio options), ONLY when you add more music files to the folder or add music folder shortcuts.

Cut my load time down to under a little under a minute.

Problem solved.

Actually, bought it digitally from Direct2Drive for $20, back on V-Day (2016).

Acitvated the key on RockStar Social Club and downloaded it.

I don't care about small games being on my old HDs and mainly just intend to put stuff like GTAV or DA:I on the SDD.  But that misses the point anyway: I never bothered to get an SSD because the money never seemed worth it.  $60 for 250GB seemed worth giving it a try.  I never would have bought 3TB worth of SSDs anyway, whether all my games fit on them or not because I don't care that much about SSDs

Cat down! Cat down!!!

I've been banned from the Star Lord 2 Bundle Stars rip-off discussion for calling someone a racist. Which is true, but I was of course joking.
tl;dr this dev is an idiot and has ruined his career by allowing keys to be sold by a prevalent bundling site and then having them revoked. Nobody is going to support him now, and he deserves to fade away.

I would post there saying the same thing, but my key wasn't revoked and both of the developers lurking those forums seem like passive-aggressive assholes who'd spend an hour finding out which key was mine so they could remove it from my account.

Also, all of the positive reviews have overwhelmingly helpful votes, while the negative reviews are mostly thumbed down. Strange how that happens, but I understand that a lot of morons and bots use the internet so whatever.

Lot of reviews are out for the new Derpus Ex and I'm reading some troubling stuff (over and above the fact it uses Denuvo).  Overall most of them are finding it inferior to HR and that it feels 'incomplete.'  Almost as if the developers had made a bigger game but Squeenix stepped in and required them to cut it in half for the purposes of a quick sequel or higher priced 'expansion' (that wouldn't be included in a season pass).  Wouldn't surprise me too much as Squeenix has been cash milking their premiere franchises lately.  Episodic Hitman being a prime example.

I e-mailed the dev a link to this post and your Steam profile page.

I tried Random Access Murder, Planet Of the Eyes & Tis 100. All were taken already. And I saw your post almost immediately after you posted. So that was some damn quick work by the lurkers.

Thank you anyway for the drop.

I started removing the space between the name and the key to throw off bots, keys seem to last longer that way. Or maybe it's just my imagination.

Naw, it probably does work.  I'm sure the simplest/easiest way to set up a bot is to grab any 5-5-5 alpha numeric combination and plug it into steam.  removing the space would make the first section longer and confuse the bot.  Removing the "-" would probably confuse them a bit too.

Christ, there are people who've set up bots to grab keys? It honestly never even occurred to me that might be going on.

I don't really know what setting up such a bot might entail (I can barley figure out how to press the "on" button on my computer) but that seems like it would be an awful lot of trouble just to lurk some shitty bundle fodder.

Oh, I still have all the same cable channels and my bill is 30 bucks less than TWC had been.
