Somehow I don't own this and it wasn't taken after an hour and a half. Thanks. Will play it tonight or tomorrow and edit in some kind of mini-review here.

EDIT: It's pretty good. I'm not normally a fan of twin stick shooters, but when I do like them, they usually have very simple "hold down the button" type attack mechanics, infinite use of a good weapon, and heavily destructible environments. In this game, you can hold down the button on every weapon. The basic fists have extremely satisfying knockback, and the baseball bat has a solid enough rate of fire to be a legit weapon. And there's actually a counter at the bottom telling you how much of the level you've destroyed.

I can't speak for how long it is, since I decided to stop and write this after the first boss fight. But other than potentially being really short, it seems like a solidly built game. Definitely the best "twin stick zombie shooter" game I've ever played.
Yeah, it's actually pretty fun. I don't recall if I got this through a Indie Royale or paid something like $1 for it, but it's a fun little game.

First I thought when I saw this was The Walking Red Dead...

So is this Red Dead Remake or something new? Red Dead Revolution?

Out of curiosity, how much of a discount is it?
75% off.

Same as the loyalty discount, but it doesn't stack. Which is why it's of no use to me or anyone else who got it.

EDIT: It looks like the loyalty discount is no more. So in theory, it actually is of value to me. But I won't be using it.

Who knows. Rockstar is just teasing for now. I hope it will be a new Red Dead with a planned PC release and a port of Redemption to PC.

I googled and most people are saying it is a teaser for Red Dead 2. If the GTA series is an indicator it will probably be on PC. Or maybe it'll be a PS exclusive...muahahahahahahaha

That's not a bad discount... but I've waited for a bundle for so long its hard to be a sacrifice now.

I just saw Serious Sam has a VR game and it looks pretty cool.  I'd go impose at someone's house to play that.  Any Atlanta area bros have VR?  Will bring beer and hot wings.  Will clean up any motion sickness caused accidents.

So... Halloween sale? I'm thinking it should hit soon. Anything folks are hoping to see this year?
Next week maybe? Nothing really. Someone lied to me earlier this year and told me Tabletop Simulator was totally going to be monthly bundled when I was going to buy it this summer. What a filthy liar. I wouldn't mind getting it and something like Zombicide if I could find some bros to play with. Can you even play it online? Would I have to stream it? I have a habit of just buying stuff uninformed.

I'll probably buy some crap during the Halloween sale to ensure they will show up in IG trash bundles shortly.

One of the few games I wanted in VR.

I was going to buy it today but all the levels aren't finish yet with it only being only two levels.

I'd rather buy Raw Data and wait for serious sam to go on a bigger sale during the holiday.

I'm have been tempted to buy Civ VI many times then I look at store page and see "80€" and say fuck it that's too expensive.

40% during autumn sale, believe it!

Jealous! I ended up ordering the physical special edition thing from Amazon so I've got to wait. How big is the download?
was about 4gig, I think its supposed to be about 12 once uncompressed and installed though. So depending on your speed it may not even be worth it since decrypting/unpacking 4gig to 12 may be slower than just downloading it

Civ V D1 AU Retail 26.17€

Civilizations V Gods and Kings 14.00€

Civ V GOTY DLC Only December 2012 - 2,50€

Civ V Korea/Wonders DLC Combo - 1,24€

Sid Meier's Civilization V: Brave New World Pre-Purchase (RoW) 5.22€ (thx to Brazil and no region locks)

And i just played for one turn :(

I still haven't played Civ V because everyone is always like DON'T PLAY IT UNTIL YOU GET X EXPANSION OR Y DLC BECAUSE IT THEN PLAYS LIKE IT SHOULD HAVE PLAYED TO BEGIN WITH!

I assume Civ 6 will be playable in about 20 years.

It doesn't have zombies or Unity store assets. Pretty sure you wouldn't enjoy it.

I don't want it but you might consider giving THOTH a try. I found it pretty good. Very polished. Kinda regretted calling it IG fodder when I first saw it. For anyone who does give it a try, I recommend keyboard/mouse over gamepad.

While fun, I don't think Zombicide would translate to a fun bro night on tabletop sim. Tabletop sim is basically a board game physics playground, requiring the players to actually know the rules to the game and move the pieces accordingly. Imagine everything grinding to a halt every couple minutes when someone isn't sure of something or you have to find the answer to something in the rulebook. I can't imagine many games that would bro night well on tabletop sim due to that issue. Bro night is about getting in a game and getting to fun asap.

That said, Zombicide is decent fun in person and I do recommend bro nighting that together at Fox's house.

Can I flip over the table in a fit of rage after dying on the first round? If so, i'm in.

Really hoping we get a good Father's Island discount during the Halloween sale. All of us bro dads can play it together and talk about our own dads while we play.

Dead Island Definitive Edition worth buying?

I own riptide on ps3 and never played it yet.
Depends on if you own DI (original w/ all DLC content) already + how you actually feel about that game.

Same goes for Riptide, also.

I've felt for a long-time, Dead Island is the definitive open-world first-person ARPG zombie-smashing experience. Riptide's good + has the cool new defense-mission addition (which this series really needed) - but it ain't on Dead Island's level b/c DI felt so fresh at the time. Riptide feels more like an expansion than a sequel, TBH.

Basically, DI Definitive is the same (as the original) game, but this version actually comes w/ all the DLC - but of course w/ much better graphics, lighting, textures + whatnot. It's on the newer Techland engine that Dying Light's on, actually.

If you never played Ryder White DLC, it's actually pretty important to the DI story b/c there is a part of the story in the base-game that feels missing, as the end of the DI base-game has this major twist + turn - which felt rushed, under-developed & not explained. Ryder White DLC - which is story-based entirely & you cannot level-up Ryder in this DLC, BTW - fully clues you in & connects the dots here as to why a few certain things happened early-on and at the end of the DI base-game.

Same pretty much goes for Riptide on the Definitive Edition - same drill. Definitive has all the DLC's, but it's not like there's really anything exciting + necessary there for DLC's, TBH.

If you're buying the HD Remasters, it's going to be for the better graphics textures & features stuff + if you want ALL the DLC content. If you own the old versions on PC, make sure you catch the HD remasters in a major discounted sale or something - b/c that's the best way to buy it.

EDIT:

Dead Island: Definitive + DI: Riptide Definitive were once 80% off ($3 each) for game-owners on Steam for pre-order - of course, that (Pre-Order) Loyalty Deal's now dead. You might want to wait for some kind of sale like that again, especially if you do own the originals.

For whatever it's worth: Greenmangaming has some cheap games. Prices are in USD, so your price may be different.

Neon Space: 0.09 http://store.steampowered.com/app/468490/

Spin Rush: 0.09 http://store.steampowered.com/app/528660/

Neon Space 2 0.11 http://store.steampowered.com/app/505210/

Fly and Destroy 0.22 http://store.steampowered.com/app/508180/

Shiplord 0.29 http://store.steampowered.com/app/422250/

Survive In Space 0.79 http://store.steampowered.com/app/467950/

Some of the games say this is the cheapest they've ever been, although a lot of them have been in bundles previously.

Review Scores range from Mixed to very positive.

Dragon's Dogma was pretty fun.  It's sort of like a cut-rate DA: Inquisition albeit with very little roleplaying opportunity but possibly more entertaining combat.  My only concern these days would be how active the community is so your pawn will actually get used by others.

Damn that sucks. Sleeping Dogs remains one of my favorites of the last 10 years.  Wonder if things would have been different had they done Sleeping Dogs 2.  And Smash+Grab had a shitload of promise.
