I believe games bought from the Canadian (and possibly Norwegian?) store are usually region free. It's usually only ~10-20% lower than the US store, so it's up to you whether that's worth the hassle of dealing with a trader.
Yeah, Norway, Japan, South Korea, Canada, New Zealand (dunno if NZ got taxed yet, if so it's not worth buying from anymore) are all region free and have lower prices for most games. Some South Korean/Japan stuff is locked but it's mostly ROW. Even the UK has some games cheaper than the US since the pound has tanked

If it's the same crappy 'okay's here's your tepid discounts with no promos, dailies, or themes' then... meh. Steam sales died a while ago. You just hope some publishers decide their five+ year old games should get more than a 50% discount.
Nah, I just look for glitches... it's all about the glitches.

Ok. Still not sure if this has ended in a lurkers hands, so here, please just take it:

QA?NE-FYYTV-PEGLP

? = a number denoting how much Syntax Error loves siracha and craft beer + 3

Well, unless it was taken by a lurker, it looks like nobody has the desire to look for and solve the code I dropped a couple days ago.

Here is the legwork, you can figure out the key on your own from here, I'm sure.

I find that some of life's problem's can be solved with a simple d20.

I also find that some problems can't be solved until a day, 238 days, or even 365 days after they appeared.
No chance that the ui is nearly as bad as fidgeting with 5000 different tokens in the physical game, or creating a simple letter replacement riddle.

Anyone that plays the physical game may be interested in the final expansion on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gtgames/sentinels-of-the-multiverse-oblivaeon

Also, board game/gijoe nerds should check this out: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/supermouse/venom-assault-0

I was going to see that last night but apparently I am too old to stay up past 10 and still have the energy to do something that doesn't involve eating and/or watching tv.

I was running through a field of corn grass, being chased by a nurse when I stopped to get a sandwich.  Cause, you know, who cares about the nurse chasing you?

Big deal. I saw an ad for G2A where they had $100 steam gift cards for only $103.

Dead by Daylight is remarkably unfun, played with pubs.
I imagine that trying to kill random people wouldn't be as fun as killing people you already know (and possibly hate), and that surviving with other pubes would be particularly tedious. Though I was surprised by how fun it was to survive with friends against a killer pube. That might have been the most fun I had last night.

I was a good little Boy Scout today.

First I found an old man's wallet on the ground--who turned out to be disabled--and drove to his house to return it.

After coming home, I ran into 3 people in a dead car, so I walked back to the parking garage to retrieve my car and jump them.

What's next? If I keep building up good karma like this maybe I'll run into a lingerie model who needs help undoing her dangerously tight 36 D bra.

Not really new, Denuvo is 2+ years old now.

It's Used by almost all AAA publishers now and many smaller publishers.

It's just that it's about only game that actually says it uses it on store page.

Yea, I knew Denuvo wasnt new. The way its worded makes it seem like a new program/launcher type thing was involved.

Here's a list of PC games infected with Denuvo Anti-Tamper crap:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denuvo#List_of_Denuvo_games
I've actually played a few of those games with no issues... aka I didn't even know it was there.

Intresting list, mostly in the ubisoft side, looks like For Honor and Ghost Recon Wildlands are going to be sizable in their SP. (Primal is on it, as are most Ubisoft titles since released, with the sole exception of The Division.)

Hmmm...I have MGSV and Arkham and never noticed it before. Is it that bad?

The biggest concerns people have had w/ Denuvo is that some claim it constantly reads+writes to a drive, which obviously isn't going to be good for SSD's + that it can hamper actual in-game performance.

Denuvo has said it doesn't hurt SSD's - but, who really knows what it's doing. [shrug]
One of the sources on wikipedia retracted it's statement and the other 3 isn't in english

Personally, I think it's a smear campaign by pirates.

Pixel Puzzles 2 Anime was a mistake, it's nothing but trash:

  • Annoying fairie character that won't shut up (but CAN be turned off, thankfully)
  • You now have a power meter that slowly fills up as you play or place pieces
  • Puzzle pieces can now show up rotated and you can't place them until you do so
  • Rotating a puzzle uses up your super meter
  • You run out of super meter really quickly.

I WANT MY 25 CENTS BACK, GROUPEES

I don't know why the hell The Division would need Denuvo anyways, since it's an always-online game.

i applaud your effort to review the bundle fodder. i hope this becomes a regular feature here in the steam thread.

.

.

.

actually no i lied, i do not want this to become a regular thing here...

I played Broforce some...thought it kinda sucked.
Did you play it with friends? Me, Bah, Weiler, Auburn, jimbo, Duke, and Foxhack played it tonight and had a lot of fun (split up into 2 groups).. or at least I did. It probably sucks with randoms, definitely a game that needs to be played with friends to be enjoyed.

Speaking of, I had to drop out because my connection was getting pretty laggy. Sorry about that. But yeah, it's pretty decent as long as PEOPLE DON'T FRIGGIN BLOW UP THE FLOOR WITH EVERYONE ON TOP OF IT.

Exactly. That's why I noted/figured that the new Ghost Recon and For Honor were going to have a larger single player experience.

Which is a nice surprise as the For Honor Alpha I was in had no single player content (other than 1x1 duels) while both Division Beta I was in had at least one campaign missions.
