Yeah, I've been using wet and dry installs for ages, and the wet is the only one I've ever seen that needed to cure, as the wet agent has to dry. The same way you get a tint on your car windows, and they tell you not to roll down the windows for a few days, as they need time to dry properly. The standard dry screen protectors are held in place with static cling, and once it is flat on the screen, and the bubbles are worked out, it's as in place as it will ever be.
Now I haven't used any of those glass ones yet, but I have Hori dry screen protectors on every device(and many 3rd party ones as well), and Skinomi wet full body ones, and the Hori ones have never needed any period of dry time, as there is nothing to dry. But maybe some of these newer ones use some kind of adhesive, that requires time to dry, I just haven't ran across one yet.
