I grabbed THPS HD when it hit XBLA and aside from the minor mix ups Activision did while handling that game I really enjoyed going down nostalgia road again. You don't want realistic skateboard games, there's always Sonic Riders. Lol, no no, nobody should go down that road.

Did anybody else get an email from Ubisoft with a 15% off code because they had issues with Steep during the free weekend? Contemplating picking that up now, wonder if it stacks with the already 40% off sale.

I'm trying to enjoy 3 and everything is cool on it other than the controls

I enjoyed 5, but there were some bugs and framerate issues which kind of killed it. Had a lot of fun with it regardless, but I sold it back before I finished. Most people remember it from its awful launch, but much like AC Unity they fixed the large majority of the problems.

I looked into it, yeah there's a 40% sale on the PC version through the Ubisoft store, Xbox version shows up as $50 which is strange, as it's 50%, or $30 on the Xbox store. The code works for the Ubisoft store, PM me if you want it.

Just be aware it's very different. You have a free skate area, and then you go to these waypoints that are little missions or challenges. Some are pretty standard (trick attacks, SKATE, etc) while others are a pain (in some you need a huge trick multiplier, so you bounce between a halfpipe for 45 seconds doing four kickflips a jump to build up to a 60 trick multiplier and then try to manual for as far as you possibly can) and others are just different (grab ice cream cones or voodoo dolls). So it's not a traditional two minute run let's see what you can do. I preferred 3, with 2 being my favorite, but 5 was a good time.

 
damn I thought the sp for gears 3 was 5 bucks for some reason not 15

was gonna snag it but no way in heck am I going to spent 15 on anything 360 related at this point lol

Does anyone else wish that Borderlands didn't focus on loot so much? I don't really enjoy loot games personally, but the Borderlands story and humor seems awesome. Is there a way to get OP weapons at the beginning so I don't have to worry about looting/selling weapons and just focus on the fun?

 
Loot is a huge part of Borderlands IMO. Other then jumping someones game who is OP and getting some loot or someone duping stuff they have you will have to level up and get better loot as you go.

Just scroll up/down to enter all the Golden Key codes from there, and once you get to Sanctuary (and are level 5 I think), you can open the golden chest for loot.

Just a FYI, the loot will always be YOUR level, it won't be higher/lower. So depending on how many keys you have (you should have a lot if you enter all the eligible codes), open them at the levels you want to get the keys.

I don't ever worry about the loot when I play. There's usually a ton of hacked weapons floating around tho lol. Every few levels just pick up a new gun and use that.
 
Wow, I didn't know there were people who DON'T play Borderlands for the loot, lol. Although I do enjoy the story and characters too. I guess you could play Tales from the Borderlands? :)

 
I wish someone could carry me through the DLC levels in the Handsome Collection version. I started playing Tiny Tinas DLC and I was really loving it until I hit a wall. The enemies were just too high a level and too strong and my guns weren't doing shit. I didn't feel like going out and grinding out levels for 10 hours just to pass that DLC so I gave up.

Add me if you want. I need to play some of the bl2 dlc on XBox one. I am level 72 op8 so could easily walk through your low level game and finally finish the DLC. All ready 100% the main game.

I've noticed this problem with both Evolve and Project Cars from GWG. It didn't seem to show up until I actually went to the base game and started a download (and then canceled) of the base game for each. I tried downloading the other version several times first with no luck.

Ok thank you. I'm happy I am not the only one having issues as well. I also like you had problems with Project Cars. I'll try the base game thing and see if that works. Thanks for that tip.

 
So the MP for Mass Effect is pretty great so far. Only drawback is it looks like it's going to be pretty grindly to level up your characters early on until you get some better weapons. They probably made it so Grindy to encourage micro transactions.

At some point you need to pay attention to elemental damage and resistance. Make sure you aren't tickling them with the wrong element!

It feels like you can get two basic packs (5k each) out of a single bronze mission. And the missions are shorter than in ME3.

As someone who leveled 4-5 characters to level 20 in ME3 this year, and did a bunch of gold waves, it feels like I'm making progress faster here. Very excited. Great podcast multiplayer.

Plus, Strike teams remind me of Assassin's Creed IV pirate ship missions, sending your crews out on timed missions for resources for both single and multiplayer benefits. I love that crap.

Also, slag is your best friend. Slag an enemy and you'll be able to finish them off much quicker with a different weapon, especially if you match the elements. And you have to make sure you're using your character's ability to it's max potential.

True but wouldn't that be from AC: Brotherhood when you could send out all your agents? I haven't played ME3 multiplayer in a while, I'm mighty rusty.
 
Is there a difference between the AC Syndicate Gold version and season pass? Looks like the same stuff but the game and season pass together cost less than the Gold edition.
