Since I thought the cheap 3DS games thread was a good idea. I thought I would start one for the PS Vita. I will maintain this site a few times a day going forward. Post links up to new deals and I will add them to the OP. Anyhow, here we go:

Yeah. I need to review the kickstarter vita games to see what I've missed and cannot get through another channel. I have been able to snag every limited run game once I decided to include those, and I preordered Slain on Saturday.

Definitely unexpected. I thought that GS didn't accept that in trade. I looked it up on the app, and there is a listing for "Steins;Gate 0", along side the PS4 version, but the pic for the Vita version is for the first one. Interesting.

They don't accept Limited Run Games releases on trade because they, and every other mainstream retailer, have a policy to only offer ESRB rated games. Exception to that being games which were released before the existence of the ESRB.

That's pretty much it. Gamestop never sold it new so it is a little surprising to see it there. I believe they may also sell the physical version of Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4) used, which was also an Amazon exclusive.

memory cards cost about 2$ per gb give or take so you are essentially paying 80 for the system 10 for p4g and 60 for the cards. So yes as long as the vita itself is in good condition like darth said I would say go for it. If you are getting it off ebay you can get a squaretrade warranty off there for it.

 
Anyone want a copy of Virtua Tennis 4 World Tour Edition before I throw it on eBay? It's complete with the case, I'm thinking $30 shipped? Shoot me a PM if you do.

Thanks to the horrible google translation of the game's webpages at shiin.jp, it looks like you have a death countdown on your life and you have to find out how to stop it by selecting ghost hunters to explore a local town, school, castle, possibly with ghosts in them. Not entirely clear on any of this though lol

If a version comes out with English subtitles, I'd likely import it.

Anyone know if the Yomawari Night Alone CEs are really rare now? I couple of weeks ago I could find them on AWD for MSRP, but now the prices have shot up. Was it a rare CE to begin with or is this like a temporary slump? Thanks

I wouldn't say it's rare, but hard to get. You could have bought the CEs on Amazon and the NIS store only I believe. The standard edition was easier to get as Best Buy/Gamestop had them online as well. I was pretty lucky to get a CE at Best Buy Store. It was just sitting at Best Buy for almost two months and they put it in a cart seeming to store it back at the warehouse. I had to get it. Sometimes Best Buy will have a Vita game alone in the PS4 section but that's very YMMV.

It's actually rare now. It finally went OOS everywhere recently, which is why the price is going up.

 
I finally joined Team Vita today. Stopped by a local game shop that happened to get in a brand spankin' new Borderlands 2 Vita for $100. Got my screen protectors ordered and that sucker is in its case until they arrive. After having some bad luck with a Vita I purchased several months ago (was apparently a smoker's and started oozing goop the day after I bought it), I'm hyped to finally be able to play one and enjoy it.

 
Still holding out hope that more copies of Rose in the Twilight end up in stock from NIS. Still beating myself up that I forgot to pre-order it and I've been resisting paying a scalper 50 bucks for the standard edition or 90 for the limited edition on Ebay for the past several weeks.

NISA used to be pretty good with restocks, within a few weeks of launch, as I used this method a few times for missed releases. Now, that their free shipping is gone(well not gone, but at a higher premium), and they hold orders for long periods to fulfill long standing orders and possible replacements, I no longer see the restocks like I once did.

I would personally set a date your willing to wait until in regards to seeing a restock, and then if you don't see it come back, I would say pay the premium now. As the price for this is only going to continue to climb, so it's a get it now at double situation, or maybe not at all later when it is triple or quadruple the original pricing.

Yeah. I only had a passing interest in this game, because the gameplay videos looked good, but pretty much all the reviews are saying the combat just isn't very good and a little boring, so it's a pass for me too.

If you F5 the page literally several times every day, you should be able to get one eventually. Just keep a page open on your browser. Let us know when you hit the jackpot.

 
I put in about two hours into Akiba's beat. Combat is exactly like Graces F, but has a input lag which I can‘t tell if intentional or not. But for veterans it is manageable. I say it is enjoyable as a Vita game, but if you are always by your PS4, skip it.

EDIT: As far as I go for now, the story doesn't seem to follow Akiba's Strip, which is a shame since I like continuations of stories, and this new setting is too familiar to Persona which I am currently playing.

With those pretty simple looking graphics thought it would be good for the Vita...i'll get it when it goes on sale sometime (something tells me it's not going to sell well).

 
I got mine part of the VCO promo, paired it with P5 TYH. I think I paid the right price for the enjoyment I am getting from it right now.

Lol. If I had that kind of free time I'd probably also be a millionaire and in no need of keeping a job, therefore would have just bought one from a scalper anyway. But if I do see them come back in stock I'll be sure to mention it you guys, my Vita brethren.

 
So Oceanhorn releases today but is no longer crossbuy. Really happy I bought it for the PS4 a few months back on sale and have no intention of playing it on the PS4. :(
