On raising canes vs zaxbys, I would say canes is slightly better but I miss Zaxbys wing combo plate. Canes doesn't do wings but has delicious lemonade. I had Zaxbys in Atlanta when I lived there but now I live in Las Vegas so Canes.

As for Hash House, I'm surprised at the praise, maybe it's because I'm local to it but every time I eat there I feel like it's a huge quantity but not the best quality. Maybe I'm not ordering correctly, I've never had the chicken and waffles yet.

I used to do work at Ellis Island Casino, they would feed us but it is heavy food for sure, lots of fried stuff but it seemed pretty cheap. I don't drink but I know they have that brewery in it so I get the appeal. They have great homemade root beer!

Everything there was published by Nintendo, though not all developed by Nintendo (the Rare DK games, Sin and Punishment), in case that could tie some things up. A Japanese release could include the original Animal Crossing game, but it's doubtful they'd put the time in to localize it for other markets.

Don't know how well including a Pokemon Stadium would work, unless they could actually have it interact with the 3DS Virtual Console releases of the old Gameboy games.

Konami had a couple Castlevania games (though IIRC one was a rehash of the other with an extra playable character) and Capcom had a Mega Man. None are considered among the best of their franchises, but I enjoyed the first Castlevania well enough. RE2 might be a bit much for a system like that, ratings wise, not tech wise. Same for Turok (wherever those Acclaim properties now reside). Rayman 2 from Ubisoft, there's a Harvest Moon on the system. Pie in the sky, maybe Disney would allow some Star Wars, particularly Shadows of the Empire and Rogue Squadron.

As a former DC resident, I have never heard of such a place and I suspect very few of my DC friends have either. CA has much better food....I shudder at how many times DC area fucked up Mexicam food...when Baja Fresh is better than the local "Mexican" places, there is a huge problem.

I think its long past the point of [being] one person's opinion. Opinion is what Hibiki gives about the games he played/know about. Opinion is what people give about burgers and/or fast food joints.

Game is brutal but yes, quite fun.

I have spent 2 hours + on the final boss and another boss in the game. It's best to level up as much as you can. The miner is a great class to run for the gold.

 
Crypt of the Serpent King is terrible, and frustrating regardless of how many "easy achievements" comments you read. The achievements are all very doable, but you will not enjoy it one bit and question your sanity for playing this just for GS.

Most online reviews and achievement guides are for the pre-patched version only and were never updated to reflect the major patch that came out. The horribly broken jumping mechanic you read about has been fixed. I died from missed jumps A LOT pre-patch, but only once after. The developer did a cruel twist though when they fixed the jumping, they upped the difficulty of the enemies and removed the beneficial money & XP farming glitch that made the non-jumping parts of the game very easy.

If you avoid all the warnings and buy it (or bought it before), I'll give you a great headache reducing tip for your Hard difficulty playthrough, since the swing your sword and walk into the enemy trick was patched:

Have an enemy chase you back to any key room that has a pit. Jump over the pit to the center pedestal. The enemy should go to the edge trying to get to you. Slowly walk to the ledge and then swipe your sword when the cursor turns red and you are able to hit them from across the pit even though they are out of your range, to kill them safely. That trick was the only way I was able to beat the snakes on Hard Level 7.

Now there was another patch after I completed the game, and I don't know what that did. If they patched the above trick, you're really screwed.

Eagle for Killer Instinct is set to go live today as well at 9:00am PST along with its accompanying patch.

In case someone's wondering, Eagle will be free for those who own the Definitive Edition or the Season 3 Ultra Edition. HOWEVER, Iron Galaxy informed yesterday that might not show up as free upon release and could take hours or even days for it to be so.

Otherwise, you can also pay $5 for it. I've been supporting the game since launch so I'll gladly pay for it.

 
FH3 VIP pass is $5 this week. I'm considering it since I picked up the expansion pass last week and my son and I are enjoying it despite having to pass the controller back and forth (I'd be happy to take reduced resolution and no rewind for split screen, but it seems they decided couch co-OP isn't a concern). I also didn't love having to watch hype cut scenes with dialog and mandatory races to eventually get to use Hot Wheels, but I guess most people really appreciate the story in FH3 --ha!

Anyone really love be VIP pass?

I moved away 12 years ago, Chicken Out was still around then. Each time I've been back since they've been disappearing, until about 5 years ago and they were just gone.

And very true on the Mexican food. There's a good chain here in SoCal called Rubio's (very flavorful and not nearly as heavy since they do a lot of seafood), and all the best taco stands in the US are here.
 
Just realized that it was Grow Home that was PS+ not Grow Up. Hell, I didn't even know there was a sequel (or even warranted one TBH). Oh well, still nothing to write ....home... about.

Sadly, the golden days of BC have come and gone. There will be more for sure and even some big titles here and there, but the glory days have passed and we were there. That's right we cheap few witnessed the dawn of BC and relished its impact on our backlogs......what a time to be alive.

Texas disagrees with this statement, the best taco places are here. The best flour tortillas I have ever tasted (and I lived in Mexico for 19 years) are made in Brownsville, TX. I will concede the best Burrito (the authenticity of the Burrito as true Mexican food is a debate for another time) I have had in the U.S. is in San Diego.

About fucking time. I bet these games are probably going to the Game Pass. They said they would change at least 5 every month, so there is our 5. GWG isn't that bad. Sure it's not the best, but at least all the lego games are competent. Grow Up isn't as good as Grow Home, but its still solid. It's a solid month overall. Nothing special.

I really hope Shadows of Mordor Game of the Year Edition gets discounted to $3.99 on Xbox, but sometimes playstation gets special sales that never are as deep on Xbox for whatever reason

Just FYI - Shadows of Mordor GOTY edition has its own achievements and won't use save files from your original game.
