Forza Horizon 3 Challenges that require a specific type or class of car can be picky. Horizon Edition or special custom versions of cars normally do NOT count. I think that may be your problem. Just buy a stock version of the type needed from the Auto Show if you have to. Achievement tracker will move if you have the right car.

On occasion, there are Challenges that require one very specific car, and most of the time that Challenge can only be possible if you fully upgrade the car.

And I stupidly converted Battlefield 1 to digital with the GS trade deals going on thinking it would probably be another six months before it came to Access. Urghh.

Glad I didn't use my credit to pick up TF2, I'd rather pay the $5 to rent it for a month. It's less of an incentive for BF1, since you have to pay for the maps still.

 
Only recent title that took more then a year was Battlefront 1 which was almost 13 months.

Also the first Titanfall took longer because they said it would never come to the vault but changed their minds.

I could see Mass Effect hitting the vault early since it has micro transactions for MP to recoup some costs.

Once Mass Effect comes it would be all titles released before August 2017 in the vault. Obviously some BC titles have yet to hit the vault still like Dead Space 2 + Dead Space 3.

EA Access continues to be a tremendous value.

 
Well, EA continues to ensure that I will never purchase a game from them again or at least it will only be physical games that I can trade in.

I mean... that's the point with EA Access. Pay $60 for "early access" then trade in your games when they hit the vault and get some of that $$$ back.

Some games I just can't wait for (like Titanfall 2) while EA access funds the rest. There have been deals plenty of times around $23 and $23 a year for all of EA's game is a value that can't be beat.

 
Rocket League I only forfeit 1vs1 matches where I'm clearly outclassed by someone doing crazy air shots and dropping 4 goals on me under a minute. Seems to unfairly match me with far superior opponents most of the time. Did have some people forfeit to me when they were winning, guess for an item drop when they expected me to forfeit.

In team battles, I never am the first to offer to forfeit, but if others do I usually just agree since if I don't they'll just quit and turn it into a handicapped match for me. One rare time I was teamed with a truly awesome teammate who single handedly won a 2vs3 game where I basically never touched the ball. Normally I'm on the receiving end of that.

Surprised that forfeit item farming exploit is still there though. Guess they expect people will care more about their win-loss record than getting more items.

Ugh, that's frustrating. I went with a windows 10 laptop with 4 gigs of ram and they offered me 25, I gotta try another Best Buy.

Under Forzathon. For the Bursting in Air challenge the bar under the challenge title and description showed the progress to 20 ultimate air jumps.

 
Looks like I better finally grab an EA access year pass. I was really tempted by titanfal 2 but didnt think it was supposed to ever go in the vault so this announcement came at the right time for me. Glad didnt impulse buy it when the sale started
 
For single player games I can wait forever. But games with a focus on multiplayer, they will always have the biggest community at launch so there is still incentive to buy games new depending on what it is and what interests you about it.

Also, although I have reservation about games as a service versus owning the content you purchased, if these kind of alternative distribution methods allow games like Titanfall 2 to be made, I'm all for them in theory.
 
Has anyone played the Dead Rising 3 Super Ultra Alpha whatever it's called DLC? Looks kinda cool for $2, but maybe it's total garbage? Any thoughts? Also probably gonna pick up Mordor even though I have it for PS4. Great price for GOTY

 
So should I watch the LOTR movies before playing Shadow of War? I've only seen about half of the first one and the first two Hobbit movies somehow.

As a huge fan of the LotR movies and having played the game, I say it doesn't matter. It's based on that world, but there are no real plot ties to the movies and any peripheral ties don't require knowledge from the movies/books.

Picked up The Surge as part of that B2G1 sale at GameStop with the credit boost. Have to say I’m really liking it so far. The whole Dark Souls type game in a sci-fi setting is pretty awesome. Like the added body part targeting aspect and good feeling to the combat (improved from Lords of the Fallen).

Just the setting, upgrade system through “cores”’ and crafting is refreshing in this type of game. Can’t comment on the story much yet, but after feeling underwhelmed by Prey and Mass Effect Andromeda (yes, I know there are others that like it), I just am excited to hopefully have a decent sci-fi game in my rotation.
 
Re: Buying EA titles, it's like any other game purchase- wait longer, spend less. You could just as easily not buy any AAA game until it's under $10 or only play GWG, just like you could wait to see movies until they come to Redbox. It's all about your personal price point and how long you want to wait.

TL;DR- Not salty, I got my money's worth from Battlefield 1 long ago.

The best $2 you could spend on DLC. I paid $10 when it was released on the day of Microsoft's E3 2014 briefing and did not regret it, one bit. You need other players to get a few achievements but you can still have a blast playing it solo.

 
The Castlevania series is up on Netflix.  It's only 4 episodes, some people think it was a film that was split up.  It's apparently based on

Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse from the NES

I'm glad I held off on the BF1/TF2 bundle. EA access is already a great value even without those games. SWBF2 is still a day one purchase for me. No regrets since I got my money's worth out of Battlefront and then some.

Don't forget that you can use your excess GS credit to purchase EA Acess subs.

Yeah. There was fine print at launch saying Titanfall was to be excluded from EA Access and the same thing is currently on the site for Titanfall 2. People bought Titanfall when it was cheap along with the DLC a few months before all of the DLC became free and then was free on EA Access shortly after that.

Well think about it. If it is an MMO type of game (similar to Destiny, being why some people refer to it as the Destiny Killer), then there will be continued work and development on it more so than non MMO games.

But who knows what type of game it will be or EA's thought process on it. Glad I could brighten your day. :)

Good point on the MMO aspect. I haven’t followed whether Anthem will be laden with micro transactions but I’d imagine that could be a reason to eventually include it in the Vault. When sales slow down, bring in more people to sell micro transactions to.
 
Yeah I'm under the same eh you can play it later when it hits the vault or you can enjoy all the days playing it from when it releases worldwide - pretty much the same with buying a console imo. SO wait, Titanfall 2 maps are included in EA Access because they just added

Well, all of Titanfall 2's DLC is free. So it would make sense for it to be added to the vault. Battlefield 1 DLC will probably go free in 2 years, just like it happened with the DLC for Battlefield 3 and 4.
