Having a positively shit weekend and needed something to distract myself. Fired up my $5 copy of Prey on 360 and that is certainly a game which is 11 years old. It's sort of refreshing to play an old-school shooter with health pickups, no intel or terminals or other bullshit hidden all around, but still has some really inventive level design and environmental puzzles. It was a simpler time.

The forza 7 xbox rewards giveaway is a great way to get people like my to buy forza 7. I never intended to buy forza 7 right away but then i won the vip for it. I got a good deal on the standard digital version so i splurged. I just really hope the day one dlc can be bought in the future. I had planned on waiting for the ultimate to go on sale so I had all the content. With the past forza games though only the pre order cars never got put up by themselves correct? I know horizon 3's didn't 

 
3 Star'd every level on Overcooked with the wife.  No divorce.  It was actually much easier than I thought it would be, and we only had to play a few levels more than twice.

I got the achievements for beating the game and three starring every level, but she didn't.  I checked her achievement progress and it shows 0 percent for both.  Ouch.  Luckily, she doesn't care about achievements.  If you do, though, beware when playing multiplayer if you're not player 1.

Same thing happened with me and a buddy. He got all the achievements until the one for beating the game, even though we best it like 3 times, and the progress on that on says 0 for him as well. Unfortunately he does care about achievements and it soured us from trying to 3 star the last few levels we need to

I'm doing a level or two a day of Overcooked with my wife and it's getting pretty tricky around the 7th/8th level (lvl 2-2?) My wife is not a gamer so once the rats are introduced, she struggles because you have to multitask and be accurate on button presses while compromising no speed. We still have a blast though. I make fun of her when the rats steal her food so we share plenty of laughs.

I think Overcooked has just as much potential to enhance your marriage as it does to rip it apart.

Overcooked is really great, but the fact that at a certain point you have to 3 star everything means I can never play with my Fiance.

Also been playing a ton of the Xcom 2 expansion and it really is great. It's crazy to me that they were able to add so much to an already incredibly well made game.

Playing it closely after SR3 dampens the fun somewhat since the map is identical in layout and feels really been-there, done-that, but the superhero sci-fi fantasy of having superpowers and fucking shit up goes a long way.

The Ultimate Edition most likely wouldn't come with all the content, anyway. It comes with VIP, the Car Pass, the Hoonigan Pack and whatever's in the Day One Pack. The Car Pass covers 6 monthly car packs. If they have more than 6, they won't be covered. Any expansions most likely won't be covered, either.

For FH3, the Ultimate was VIP, car pass and a Motorsports All-Stars pack that was also available in the Deluxe edition as well as separately. It didn't cover Blizzard Mountain or Hot Wheels, though Ultimate owners got a discount on the Expansion Pass covering those 2 DLCs when Blizzard Mountain released. There have been some car packs released after the time frame of the pass (Porsche, Hoonigan and at least 1 other) that need to be purchased. Also, there was no Day One pack for FH3. The retailer preorder bonus cars can all be purchased from the autoshow. The site says the preorder cars are tuned, no mention of exclusive liveries.

FM6 Ultimate didn't cover the Porsche or NASCAR expansions, and there were car packs beyond the time frame covered by the pass. Don't feel like digging through Forza forums and comparing the preorder cars with what's available to buy in game.

They haven't even announced what's in the FM7 Day One pack yet, whether it's going to be something truly exclusive, limited time exclusive or like FH3, just in-game cars with specific tunes / liveries. No mention if there's going to be any Forza Rewards loyalty stuff, either.

I actually really liked the new Prey. It was a lot of fun and felt like playing a Bioshock game (not a bad thing). That being said, I am very surprised the original Prey is not BC. I nabbed it in a sale earlier this year hoping it would go BC since the new one was coming out. Not sure why it hasn't been added yet. I could play it on 360, but figure it would play better on the X1, so I've been waiting while I attempt to get through the rest of my backlog.

Yeah, I've heard nothing but positive things about the new game, minus some technical problems on PS4. I still think its odd they titled the new one 'Prey' since it has nothing to do with the original beyond being some mind-fuckery-in-space. I also bought the old one hoping it would go BC ahead of the new game's release, but since the titles or identical, they may have been concerned it would be confusing.

Thanks I will have to check the FH3 pre order cars again in the autoshow and auction house. I had looked at them before and it never let me buy the pre order dlc cars. The pre order and the special Halloween car ( little vixen made it I believe ) is all I am missing. I knew ultimate didn’t have everything I was only worried about a car pack that I might not be able to buy alone.

I picked the new Prey up for PS4. I didn't get too far and I just don't like it. Also the level design/map seems confusing. Sort of like Batman Origins on Vita/3ds.

I really like old school shooters but not a big fan of games were there are ton of useless pickup and seemingly crazy inventory management. All I have for a weapon is a wrench and the combat with that seems horrible. Started it a week ago and just can't motivate myself to play any more. If GS has any sort of trade bump or other trade promo next weekend I think I am going to unload it. First game in a while I thought I would like that I just don't.

The new Prey bored me TBH. Yes, it’s like Bioshock in space but nowhere as good, especially story wise.

Just made me yearn for a sequel to the original Prey.

Is Forza 7 worth it if I have an og Xbox one? I feel like they are selling the 4K aspect so much I know nothing about it
 
Ruiner and Cuphead have already been pre-ordered! I'm hoping for some character customization in Ruiner. At least a boy and girl skin. Also rumored to possibly have co-op in the future (according to devs on the steam forum)

There is a demo. If you like racing sims I think it would be a blast. I am not big on racing games. Love Horizon 2 and 3. Just canceled my FM7 pre-order.

FM5 was is currently free with GWG as well. Just not for me. Not knocking it but I like the "arcade play" of the Horizon series better. I like the variety of things to do. Running race after race I think would get boring really fast for me.

Some no name studio with a couple notable developers on board is already making System Shock 3 on a fairly low budget, for better or worse. I think they would have been better off with an original name than trying to piggyback of the modestly successful at best Prey.

 
Want to get Ruiner but already have Cuphead and Hob (on PS4, the latest game from the Torchlight devs) preordered. We’ll see if some more BB Rewards come in that I can get some more XBL credit.

We get racing suits for loyalty rewards. I'd rather have groovy cars, whatever.

Did you know that you can earn rewards just for playing Forza games? Forza Rewards is our long-running loyalty rewards program, offering Forza players weekly credit rewards available on Forza Hub or on the Forza Rewards Web site. In addition, players can earn great content at the launch of Forza Motorsport 7, based on their Forza Rewards level. Before we get to the free stuff, let’s talk a bit about how Forza Rewards works with Forza Motorsport 7.

In Forza Rewards, every Forza player has a Tier level. Tier levels are attained by playing Forza games and achieving certain milestones (such as driving a certain number of miles or reaching a certain Driver Level). These feats earn you points for your Forza Score; the higher your Forza Score total, the higher your Tier level. As your Tier level increases, so too does the rewards you can earn in Forza games.

With the launch of Forza Motorsport 7, we’re adding a new Tier level (Tier 12), which will be worth a total of 3,000 Forza Score points. Note that all rewards listed above are cumulative. So, if you are Tier 4 at the launch of Forza Motorsport 7, you will receive the Forza Motorsport 7, Forza Horizon 3, and Forza Motorsport 6 driver suits, the Tiers 2-4 Badges, and 3 total Prize Crates. (Note that there are no Tier 12 rewards, as Tier 12 will not be possible to attain until the release of Forza Motorsport 7).

One additional note regarding Forza Rewards: Based on player feedback we have removed Token- and DLC-based milestones in Forza Rewards going forward, instead choosing to focus on feats that reward time invested in the game. Related, we have decided to retroactively reward maximum reward points for DLC and Token-based reward feats for players who have played each title. For example, if you played Forza Horizon 2 the DLC/Tokens feat scores will be automatically be maxed out. This will go for all Forza games you have played.

 
lol at the Battle Garegga price. guess I could sell my saturn version to fund it but that isnt going to happen. just think the price is pretty high, guess i'll be all over it at 5 bucks lol

 
Just got back from American Assassin. It was okay, certainly not as bad as Mother, but really not great either. Wouldn't recommend paying $13 to see it, but worth it of you have Moviepass and need something to see.

I'm pretty sure you're right. I was just hopeful because when the first sold the Hoonigan pack for FH3, they said it would also make those care available in F7. I was hoping it worked both ways. Like, one key sold as two separate things.

Like my dilly bar being the key to my gf's front and back door......

On a side note Agents of Mayhem is weird. I feel like I am playing a 3rd person shooter rpg based on the saints row universe.... It would've so much better with co-op. I'll drop a review\ my final opinion once I play it a bit more...
