It is a pre-order bonus. Kind of wondering if it is remastered Xbox One version or just the Xbox 360 version that is BC. Although it shows up twice on Xbox. Get it for $47.99 if you are a Prime member. Plus get the bonus Stick of Truth and Towelie Gaming Bud.

All those (I wouldn't say 1 has been an issue of all year but it most certainly would be something people think about now and 5 is more like people are not going to forget getting shit on by actors, directors and big celebs who shared the view that everyone was racist, sexist, ect ect for voting for Trump) but mostly, and I forgot where I heard it, the movies this year have just been average or lackluster. It's telling that the movie industry has run out of ideas when there's a movie adaptation for the 1980's video game Asteroids in the works.

Thanks for this! My 4 TB WD Ext HDD was about full (I'm at 96% atm) and it has started not shutting off on me when I turn the Xbox off (telling sign perhaps?). Also, how do you transfer from one HDD to the other, simple swap via UI and it transfers locally through USB or does it do it via the internet? Asking for a friend lol.

Edit: Ordered, and canceled my Xbox One X pre-order just because my internet situation is not gonna work with that unfortunately. So I save some money and more so with that coupon, thanks Cobra.

No way am I paying full price for Shadow of War after playing the first and reading/seeing what direction they are taking this one in.... I wan't evil within 2 but I may wait for all the dlc to come out first. I'm curious if the skin pack for Friday the 13th will be available digitally... most likely it will be. The only game I might pick up is Raid WW2.... because I have no idea what the fuck it's about. I hope it is a playable version of The Raid Redemption set in WW2.

 
There’s no question the movie industry is down, but I seriously doubt people are staying away because of possible shootings or disagreements with liberal actors. As far as Blade Runner is concerned, it’s a sequel to a movie that came out 35 years ago, and it’s almost 3 hours long. Not exactly a recipe for blockbuster ticket sales.

Week after the Aurora Dark Knight Rises shooting as a Colorado resident then and now I saw a movie the following week because my mindset is regardless, you can die anywhere. Though then again I see movies in the morning with my kinda people...cheap senior citizens! So my risk rate is at a much lower rate. And it's hard to judge anything being a major hit anymore since I don't think anyone saw IT as being a HUGE hit and week before it's release people were saying it was looking at a 50 million or so opening and I think it more than doubled that.

I Kinda agree with Spybreak9 more that sci-fi outside the realm of action and major blockbuster feeling is easily looked over by audiences here. Movies like Ex-Machina and others are often just relegated to short one to two week theater runs at best and on demand. It is alot to absorb and more often than not visually and audio wise you can get just about the same experience at home without feeling like you're missing anything usually I want to say. Though seeing Blade Runner 2049 in IMax definitely felt like the right way to absorb that film into my brain.

 
18 hours in dragon dogma and playing on hard mode all I can say is this game is great and satisfying when you defeat your first chimera/cyclops/dragon/ogre just wow.

Pretty solid list of reasons. Though I disagree with number 4. Most of what Hollywood has put out lately I wouldn’t even take the effort to pirate.

As for number 5, I’m not even sure it’s specifically tied to voting for a candidate. Meryl Streep did a pretty good job pissing off the sizable number of sports fans and gamers in the US with her Oscars speech this year.
 
Yeah that's a good point, major reason, a sequel from a movie that came out 25 years ago so yeah they missed the range when people would be interested.

This is the Crux many games in development hell get like Duke Nukem. Devs and publishers are thinking will there be a public want of this thing or is it past that window.

Killing a wild ogre was very fun. Unfortunately I'm at the point where all the non-kill X quests do not have quest markers and vague descriptions. Didn't want to use a guide but I might just do it.
 
I still think a big problem with 2049 is that they gave the film way too high of a budget. It built a cult following but that’s the problem, it’s niche, hardcore brainy sci-fi — not a crowd pleasing blockbuster.

The $31 million it made would be a great box office take for that kind of film. But not when the thing cost $155 million to make.

I think it has more to do with people being tired of highly paid entertainers who are so completely removed from the ordinary world having the nerve to try to tell ordinary people how they should think about topics. Like Judd Apatow - he essentially made a propaganda commercial to try to sway people during an election year. I’m not looking for voting advice from the director of Knocked Up...

For those who are thinking of getting Friday the 13th on disc, save your money and put it towards any other game coming out, literally any game. It's a giant mess that only gets WORSE before it gets better. Every update fixed one thing, broke 5 more. The latest patch a few weeks back made Jason way to OP, his stun time is so small your fucked if he grabs you. Add in shitty teammates, rage quitting Jason's, same tired maps, bugs and glitches galore, and well, it's a giant recipe for disaster.

Yes. It doesn’t matter to me if others make the same choice, I just choose not to further support a rich entertainer who is openly arrogant enough to think that people should consider his opinion as correct on something as personal and important as a vote. To paraphrase the classic reese’s commercial, you got your politics in my entertainment and now it tastes like shit. (Not you Docsamson, I mean the celebrities).
 
Another reason why Hollywood is going down the shitter, the thing with Weinstein. People have been hearing for years now perverted and decadent the movie business is. How can you knowingly support an industry that is harboring rapists and pedophiles? It's affecting people, for sure.

Never tried the same movie 2x. Might try it with Blade Runner 2049. Going to night for 1st viewing. Might try it again on Monday. But I would think they track what movies you have used moviepass for.

Not sure if data analytics on movie audiences is a secondary income stream for moviepass, over and above the regular subscription fees. There aren't any other data tracking methods for audiences across theater brands that I'm aware of. While some theater chains, like Regal, have discount/points programs that allow them to do analytics on their theater audiences alone, movie pass would have the only/largest cross brand database on theater attendance that I'm aware of. Link that to Facebook data and you can test the validity of statements like "less than 50% of attendees of Judd Apatow movies are also trump supporters" or "for 6 weeks following Meryl Streep's Oscar comments, conservatives spent 54 % less on movies than they did over the same time frame last year." If you're in the movie business or politics, how much would you pay for that info? It tells you how to adjust your business practices to maximize performance / profits.

Also never tried getting a ticket for a different movie than I checked in for.

This seems to work not because I was trying to work the system but because on Thursday when I went to see 2049, the Movie Pass app didn’t have the showings right. It didn’t even have Blade Runner listed. I figured out that the showing of Kingsman that the app had was what was BR so I just booked it for that movie and used it to go see 2049.

I’m thinking the app may be able to track what movie you select but after that it’s just a debit card. I doubt the charge to Movie Pass would actually show what movie it was. Just the theater.

What are you watching for? I think I might snag a new controller. My kids really want a Nintendo Switch but I don't see those going on sale for Black Friday... I might get a buy 2 get 1 free on the games but I wonder if it will exclude Switch or not.
 
I have Shadow of War preordered, but I’m not sure I’m gonna get it at launch now. I was pretty excited about AC:O, too, but those games drop so quick... I don’t know. May just wait for CoD:WW2 and then wait for a B2G1 at GS.
