BS must be merging them for some reason because MvC deluxe is $69 in store at both Targets that still have them available in my area.

I don't even know why I keep looking for these. If I do buy them, I'll just end rebuying the complete collection digitally for $10 on some random date night and still never play any of them

I don't know how similarly Targets are laid out, but all the ones in my store were on an endcap where they have games in individual security cases all spine-out organized by system where it's easy to skim over them to see what's there. After I gave the employee the DPCI on several she confirmed they were supposed to have one of each and checked the back with no luck but while she was gone I stumbled upon the endcap.
 
Does anyone know if the Forza Horizon 3 Gold/steel book rings a lower price in store? I'd like to buy it if that's the case but BS still shows it at $99.99

I scanned it at Target this morning and it scanned as "Item not found." I didn't bother anymore with it because I have a feeling this will be found for under $40 pretty easily in the future.

 
At Target now. Asked employee and they said it is in the back. Fingers crossed.

Edit got Origins for $60

How are they different? Dcpi merged numbers. The system will see it as normal copy of origins not gold edition anymore. It basically comes down to whose working the customer service desk and is willing to do it.

They aren't merged on all of them.

Definitely, South Park, Middle Earth, and MvC Deluxe have combined their DCPI. MvC deluxe is $39.99 as of now, so if you find a copy, go for it. Meanwhile, SP/MESoW standard editions are at full retail price $59.99
 
I tried to get a price match and a price adjustment but the dcpi numbers haven't been merged yet sadly. They just dropped the price cause no one was buying it. They scanned both mine and a normal copy and dcpi numbers were indeed still different.
 
Finally managed to find an AC: Origins Gold PS4! Got done with my doctor appointment and the Target nearby had 1 copy left :D

Have not found any of the others in my area though :/
 
Anyone in NJ that lives on or close to clifton as of Friday 1/19/2018 at 6:45 PM they still have two copies of Assassins Creed Origins gold edition for $59.99 available, i just picked mine up, you need to have one of the persons that work in that area to get it for you since they’re in the back storage, I didn’t check the other games since I already have them.

I believe I saw it the other day. I can check again but would you be willing to pay around $76? The game is $60 + $5.40 tax + a box (cuz it's steelbook) + shipping and insurance.

So on target app it says AC origins for ps4 is $39.99 and they have a good steelbook copy at my nearby target so it'll ring up $39.99 since they merged the Dpci' correct?

Incorrect. AC Origins has not merged at this time. I just scanned the PS4 version a few hours ago and it shows as the Gold Edition on the price checker with a price of $60.

 
My Target still had one each of MvC:I for both systems. I opted for XB1 because it apparently looks significantly better on the X than the Pro even though I know the DS4 is a little better for fighters. Figured for an even $40 after Red Card why not?

I was only charging you what it would cost me and breaking it down kinda shows that it may not be worth it in the end unless you really wanted it.

 
BrickSeek showed OOS everywhere around the area but found MvC:I Deluxe for XB1 for $40 at a Target nearby.

the hunt for cheap older Ubisoft Gold titles at Target was about 7-8 months ago. I found WD2 Gold and Ghost Recon Wildlands Gold back then. Doubt you gonna find any by now.

Ok, something really weird happened to me. So I bought a MvC deluxe edition before it merged, which was at $59.99 + tax. Then, once it merged, I bought another one which was 20 bucks less. Here's the thing, tried to return the $60 dollar one yesterday, and she said that the receipt didn't have the item being returned. Now, what the heck did I do wrong? I am pretty sure that was the right receipt, but I'll look into my receipts once again. Has anyone else faced this issue as well? Was it because of the merge? If it was, how do I get the amount that I originally paid before the merging?

It was 99% likely because of the DPCI merge.

Yup, Sku merged screwed you. You can contact Target 1800 number to see if they have any advise on this matter. If thats fail, ebay/CL it.

Did you get the PS4 or Xb1 version? You could probably make your case with the Xb1 since their website still have it. Deluxe dpci still in tact, Dpci doesnt merged online.
