Dont sweat it. Its nearly impossible to avoid for long. Watched the rumble mtach tonight, even knowing the winner it was still a pretty good rumble. Didnt expect the surprise entrants.

Going by the Final Fantasy post you made, it sounds like you're not in the US. Outside of the US, Microsoft Rewards (formerly called Bing Rewards) and Xbox Live Rewards are combined. In the US, you get points you can redeem for gift cards by using Bing, Microsoft's search engine. Microsoft/Bing Rewards might not be available in your area.
 
So I used to do Bing Rewards until they cancelled my account years ago.  The talk on here about it inspired me to try again.  My goal is the 12 month of xbox gold.  It says this "hot deal" will expire at the end of the month, and I won't have the 21,000 points by then, I'm averaging about 1000 points every 4 days plus the bonus offers.  

My question is does anyone know how many points this will go up to, or does it always stay around that price...er points, or do they normally not offer the 12 month?  The 1 month by comparison is a quarter of the points of the whole year!

It was 29,000 before the deal.
 
Really have to up my GTASC Game, won't survive for long if I only try to stay a bit above the minimum. Actually I was 300 TA above the elimnation zone the day before the end of the period, in the last half hour I only was 70 above TA. Dropped down fast that one day. If this continues I might think I'm safe when I'm not.

Also @Bloomy did 3 runs on normal to Wave 25 and got all 3 modnight omen weapons, guess I was lucky not to get any duplicates however, was very unlucky with the past two 400 Credit Community Packs didn't get any Trashball Chars (yet) nor the Heavy Scion peinding around 8k for each of the packs and now out of Credits again lol.

Still need 5 Ribbons and 24 kills with Salvo to get another 2 achievements in gears 4...also didn't do any co-op in Campaign yet...currently on Inconceivable solo

Based on my own math, if you get max points every day, you should have more than enough for a year of gold, 4x 3 month game pass redemptions, and points to spare to use for XBL currency. Even more so if you wait for hot deals on those items.

~350pts per day, times 365 = 127,750pts in a year. That's without factoring in streak bonuses, ti me periods where they do double points for web or mobile, etc. Gamepass is 17,000 times 4, or 68,000, plus the usual 29,000 I believe for a year of gold is 97,000 total.

And as I type all of this I realize none of it answers your damn question. I'm retarded...

I believe this is the first time it's ever been this cheap to redeem for a 12 month live so chances are it won't happen again any time soon.

I bought 1 Thrashball pack with credits, 2 Cougar weapons and 1 Nexus, but since those cards should become craftable in the future, I've turned my focus to Horde skills. Goes against my stand against purchasing loot boxes, but I bought 5 Horde expert packs using the extra money from MS Rewards. Still need to pull 3 Epic skill cards, 2 Sniper and 1 Soldier, to have everything available to crafting.

I need 10 ribbons, with Ole and Trick Shot probably requiring coordination with others like how I got them in Gears 3. Still a ways to go with some weapons (have 5 kills with Mulcher and 19 with Salvo), but they'll come over time as I play a daily Casual Co-op vs. AI match for the daily first win bonus.

The release of the Jingle Juvie Midnight Omen skins on Tuesday could play some havoc with the GTASC. The Better than Bacon TA score should spike on Tuesday, but where will it settle by the Wednesday cutoff as more people pop the achievement? Some people can hold off on starting the game until Wednesday, but people using Windows 10 could have the achievement pop on their PC when the update goes live, like with the achievements in the September update.

 
As did I (playing games) and let me tell you I was very surprised by the 3 or 4 pages after my post lol. Although it's understandable though. Grindy non-cinematic arcade games are a good pairing with podcasts and YouTube videos. Just got done watching the one with Steven Crowder, has his own show on YouTube & CRTV, on the Joe Rogan Podcast. Balls of steel.
Speaking about balls... Put up a high score in Pinball FX3 on Secrets of the Deep 474M, 11th overall. BOOM! (I have no life, yes I know)

Anyone got any tips for idling Clicker Heroes to get it to count for the free to play rewards thing?  Doesn't seem to be counting mine correctly.

It's been picking up those hours for me. Xbox Rewards seemed to have a glitch or something the other day that made some people lose a bunch of hours. I checked their twitter and people were complaining and they said they were looking into it. I was down like 50ish hours but it seems to be back now. Have mostly been playing clicker heroes and fallout shelter.

In shelter I've been leaving it at the main menu when I'm not playing it and in clicker heroes I've been leaving it playing since you have to choose a profile at the main menu screen.

Also I have my controller plugged into the xbox directly with no batteries in it.

Can you just leave it at the first screen after you hit a and select your profile?

It loads into game as soon as you select your profile. I just mute/turn off my tv and its fine. System updates have been screwing me out of a few hours here and there though.

Really should focus on Horde Packs as well but the normal horde packs msotly conatain common cards which I don't need anymore...really wish the feral packs were still available....got all horde skills during the gearsmas thing when feral horde packs were available.. and some of the long missing epic cards even twice or 3 times...I probably could craft more horde cards when I would scrap all my other stuff, but I'm kinda collecting these as well even though I know I won't use most of these skins lol...was also thinking about buying some expert packs but I really don't want to spend money on that plus you can't pick which epic skills you get so kinda pointless...

As for Olé and Not today don't have them either but they are no longer required for the achievements.... still need to do Pacifist (which should be very easy just getting 1 kill and 2 revives), Big Exit (I never get grenade tagged to do that actually), Nice Pick (rarely play Escalation, and I have to get the weapon drop the enemy set in the next round and a kill, getting the wepaon can be hard but killing someone with it maybe harder lol), Negotiations Over (rarely see anyone picking up meatshields most of the drop them before getting a headshot in) aaand Sapper Star (again don't see enemies plantign grenades just throwing them).

As for Trick Shot got that easily in horde Mode you can set that up in private on casual if you want just find a narrow space upgrade the fabricator to level 2 and get a torque bow. Olé seems really only possible if you boost I NEVER see anyone charging at you with a retro unless it's from behind. The Salvo is annoying since you can only get it on Speyer and Rustlung (but only after 5 minutes on this map) but yeah will probably get it some day playing against an daily AI match.

Depends if they really do make the rollout on tuesday, they seem kinda late with these things. Btw the only calls I still need to tget to level 10 is Scout (currently level 9) but somehow even finishing 50 waves on insane doesn't really give much to the class level hum...
Also getting level ups is a pain now..currently LVL 48 in my 11 th re-up (on the way to wings 1 of 10 lol) but without extra XP it's painfully slow now...even double XP is kinda meh...

I also tried for like 3 hours to unlock the "Behind the Scenes" Achievment in Gone Home (was my last one) did 4 runs where I collected all 68 nodes and nothing, it didn't pop I even uninsttalled and reinstalled the game, whe I used the game hub command it finally popped and I don't know why...speedrun achievemt was kinda glitxhed too took me 3 tries and did pop when Iw asn't expecting it anymore..anyway 1000 GS full and finished (already played thorgh the game on pc years ago..sooo I could skip the "story")

Sounds like you're good there.

2) before doing my 1st search i had to go to bing.com (you should see the pretty background picture of the day with the giant search bar in the foreground). Tap the menu icon (looks like 3 horizontal stripes usually in the upper right corner) and make sure you're logged into bing. Then do your searches starting from that front page.

Once you get that working there are a few easy ways to earn points.

1) use the trending topics / news stories called "Trending on Bing". You find them on the front page below the search bar. Click there first. When a bing search page is returned you'll see these listed under the search field but above the search results in the app. This list scrolls left to right. Click on as many of those as you need. Each one counts as 1 search.

2) use the search bar and enter one random word. Dog, cat, banana, etc. It should fill with related searches: dog collar, dog park, etc. Choose 1 auto fill options. When this completes. Click in the search bar delete a word or add 1 space and it will give several more auto generated options. Repeat as needed.

3) just make random key stokes while in the search bar and hit enter. Bing will search for anything. Slightly better option is to just start with 2 letters that a lot of words start with like "ch" and let bing try to guess what you are typing.

If it takes you longer than 5 - 10 minutes every day, you're doing it wrong.

I don't have many Epic skills leveled up, and none fully, so none of them would be wasted. My Scout's at L8, Engineer at 4 and the other classes haven't been used yet.

Didn't realize some ribbons were not longer needed for the achievement. Then I need Bravado (win sudden death in Guardian, which I never play), Charge (should be easy enough in an AI match), I Gotcha (haven't played enough Horde ... yet), Negotiations Over, Pacifist, Sawdust (probably an AI match), The Specialists and Trick Shot.

Nice Pick can be tough, though a double weapon spawn can make that easier, particularly Incens. I have 3 Sapper Stars. I think they were lucky shots toward someone defending a ring in KOTH and/or Escalation. Can a smoke trigger a planted grenade? Might've gotten them that way as well, or a tossed frag / Boom triggering a planted one in a ring and it counting.

I'm currently at L83 of the 4th re-up, got a long way to go.

 
Clicker Heroes is an extremely shitty game with annoying music and I feel they should have paid me to download it.

That said, I will idle the shit out of it.

 
And yes, The Coalition is out of their minds if they think anyone will reach Wings 10 at the current XP gain rate, ESPECIALLY if all you play is PvP. They better throw out some 3x-4x XP events throughout the years leading up to Gears 5.

Somehow I have over 1,000 entries, but I can hardly think of actually playing any free games.  I do combine logging into some free games for daily bonuses with stuff like packing the kids lunches or my lunch, etc.  And oftentimes I end up getting distracted and leaving the xbox running for a bit.  I have played a little Warframe and Tanks, but mostly Madden.  Also, Idarb with my daughter.  Surprisingly fun couch co-op.  I did check out Deadlight finally.  Seems pretty good in the first half hour.

Of course they think they can charge 40. They have players logging an insane amount of hours in the game. Sadly the players arent actually there for the game itself. I kind of feel bad for the company using stats to justify the price

They're actually charging money ($30, not $40) for it so they can remove the microtransactions and give you the full experience without asking for further money. It's only coming to PC, for what that's worth.

Opened the purse strings and bought the NFL GOAT edition. With the $10 rewards gift last night it made the purchase a little easier.

Now to trade my never played copy of NFL 16...sure I’ll get top $ for that one.
 
Doesn't Clicker Heroes idle you out back to the title screen where you have to sign in a profile again after a set amount of time? If you turn on your tv in the morning and see that title screen you weren't getting credit because that one will also log out your profile. I already got all the achievements in Clicker Heroes so I haven't been using that one. Pinball Arcade will keep you logged in forever.

That's crazy talk, the game is literally just to sit there and idle. I don't think the developers are under any kind of illusion with those stats, it's how they made the game. Personally I thought the game was garbage until I actually learned wtf was going on, it's systems upon systems and it sucks you in. Hitting zone 3600 was one of my greater xbox live achievments.

 
Bought a $10 BB card as well, in-store. Going to buy Monster Hunter, but waiting a little more to likely qualify for a price match down the road (elite plus for now).
 
Alright I'm so tired of struggling. Been messing with UFC 3 since early access and still can't get Game Face to work. Tried all browsers on PC (IE, Edge, Chrome, Firefox) and Safari on iPhone and iPad. I get errors every time after doing all the setup and everything. Nothing works!!!

Anybody have any advice here?

If you plug in the controller it'll keep it going but if it's on batteries and the controller turns off it'll kick you to the title screen and log you out.

Ah word, Pinball Arcade doesn't even care if your controller idles out. I assume it's the same for Stern Pinball Arcade.
