  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold.  You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
  • On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

Totally, because it's only been years the Seahawks were in the running for the SB that they set Guiness World Records or were amateurly ranked the loudest. It also wasn't being reported on 30 years ago, so it's clearly just a flavor of the month fad.

Again, if you don't know anything about one of the most popular sports franchises on the west coast, maybe just stay out of the conversation.

My brother talked me into buying FC5 last weekend, but neither of us have booted it up yet. Therefore, it should go on sale next date night. You're welcome.
To be fair the design of the stadium has a lot to do with the noise records. Totally irrelevant to the discussion at hand but a valid point anyway.

Well, looks like I'm finishing A Way Out by myself.

My wife and I played the first half, and she has gradually lost interest completely. I honestly am leaning that way as well.

The game is decent, but some people were praising it as THE MOST PERFECTEST CO-OP GAME EVER!

I am underwhelmed.  Here are some examples of riveting co-op gameplay in A Way Out (no spoilers):

Holding Right Trigger to hand something to your co-op player, and them having to hold Right Trigger as well to receive it!

Pressing X at a door that is too heavy/hard to open by yourself, so your co-op partner has to come help you open it by also pressing X!

Pressing Y to get an NPC's attention while your co-op partner walks behind the NPC while his back is turned!

Granted, there were a couple cool sequences, like a car escape and boat ride, and I've not yet beaten the game so can't pass final judgment, but I was really hoping this game would be more creative.

In fact, after my wife quit on me, I played the game alone last night for about an hour.  I finished an entire chapter by myself, using one controller (and having the other player not move) for most of the time.  During the rare instances where both characters were needed at the same time - like during an on-foot chase sequence - I just held one controller in my left hand and the other in my right, and held up on the left stick so that both characters would run forward along the very linear path.  I occasionally had to press A to jump over an obstacle on each controller or we would insta-fail.  If I can play the game by myself with two controllers, I don't consider it riveting co-op gameplay.

Eh, it's unique at least.  Again, I'll call it a decent game.  I wouldn't recommend at full price, or even during this sale.

Back to Okami.  I have like 50 hours in that game so far.  Holy Crap, I didn't know this game was so long.  I still dont know how this was released in America.  There is a character who is referred to almost exclusively as "Busty Babe."

When she dies, your trusty sidekick says something like "her and her two friends will be missed."

It still bugs the ever living hell out of me Marvel has figured out how to make stars out of a talking tree, talking raccoon, everyone in Black Panther and many others. Yet WB still can't figure out Superman or Batman. I Don't understand how five years in and they still can't grasp what to do.
Zack Snyder. Too much creative control to one guy. That, and rushing their JLA stuff to try and match pace with Marvel. BvS was supposed to be just a sequel to Man of Steel, and they shoehorned Batman in to prep for Justice League.

Also, it is a fantastic movie. My favorite Thor movie (I REALLY enjoyed the first one also) and probably my favorite MCU movie of them all. Chris Hemsworth can have me any time he wants!

"I've been falling...FOR THIRTY MINUTES!!!"
Beginning of infinity war spoiler:

I hope the rock guy Korg is okay, I liked him but we didn't see him at the beginning of infinity war. I'd hope they wouldn't have an off screen no reference death for him.

Like gamegirlpocket said, I feel like a huge part is they want to be where marvel is at for the beginning of phase 3 but skip the 8 years and 12 films of build up to that point. I don't know the full details but I also feel like I read that they would make huge changes to films half way through.

and especially for them being the 2nd most protesting team. More ppl support the military then the seahawks, bad move on their part. You will see the teams crack down this year, due to the millions if not billions lost last year.
Oh so this is the reason for the lies LOL.

I Don't know how he got that much control to begin with. His last movie before Man of Steel was Sucker Punch and that was universally panned, but somehow WB assumed that was their guy? I Loved the last two Planet of the Apes movies, but Matt Reeves has a hell of an uphill battle to climb whenever he gets to that Batman movie especially with those Affleck basically being done with the character already rumors. Plus how can you possibly make a Superman movie now with any stakes when no one really gives a shit about the character thanks to the last three films and now that it's already established he can come back from the dead?

So I didn't end up buying the Wildlands Gold Edition and hearing Shipwreck talk about it on this weeks cagcast is making me have regrets.

As for the fan base talks... I have been a Seahawks fan my whole life, used to go watch the training camp as a kid. I was happy to hear Seattle was getting a hockey team.

The new NHL team draft does seem a bit unbalanced but I think you want a new team to be exciting and winning in that first season to build the hype. I have never had a hockey team I was rooting for but as a Las Vegas local now I had to adopt the Golden Knights in the first season.

The downside to all this winning is that we are breaking records for ticket prices. I can't afford the games and next season will be even worse on pricing.

The Raiders are coming here soon but I'll always be a 12 w the Seahawks, sorry Raiders.

Seahawks are back to a building phase but they will be good again soon...

I was fine with Snyder's take on Man of Steel. The whole "we want Superman to be like Christopher Reeve's Superman" was tried and failed big time with Superman Returns. The problem was that some critics and, to a certain degree, audiences were not expecting a Superman film to look and feel down to Earth as opposed to being cartoonish, campy and lighthearted,

But adding Batman AND Wonder Woman into what was meant to be Man of Steel 2 was, in hindsight, a bad idea considering the divisive reaction MoS got. From the moment BvS was announced at Comic-Con 2013 (while MoS was still playing in theaters), many people made up theirs minds about the concept of the film and hated it. Fast-forward to March 2016 and those some people already had the knives out for BvS and gave the film no chance. They went as far as deepthroating the toothless yet colorful Civil War (which in itself made some of the same mistake as BvS albeit with a slightly better focus).

JL was doomed to fail even if Snyder had completed his version of the film. It was such a shame to see what WB did to what was meant to be THE comic-book movie to end all comic-book movies. Oh well, I have faith in Aquaman and Wonder Woman 2. Though I'm still on the fence about Shazam.

Anyways, I'll be watching IW in 2 hours from now.

But...Civil War was actually a good movie. Batman vs Superman had a jar of piss that exploded.

NO! I WANT ARGUE! WHERE TALKING RACCOON IN SUPERMAN MOVIE??
I wonder if Superman 3 was released nowadays....would it work? If a talking raccoon and Mary Poppins jokes are accepted as cool in this day and age, then imagine Richard Pryor adding tar to kryptonite.....

Dammit man, you just reminded me of the scene in Superman III that had that lady get turned into a robot. I had that all out of my head....

Does anyone know if you could stack the $1 game pass if another sub is gifted from a friend?

Btw, I'm still stuck with that $5 gift card. Someone was suggesting I get a gift from someone in the US who can use it, but you cant gift to someone from another country.

I'll probably just give it away here, I'm trying to think if I can find a fun way of doing it.

I'm in no rush to see Infinity War. Besides not seeing Thor Ragnarok yet, I'm just not into the Avengers movies like everyone else. IMO, Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther were better and I would rather see more of those characters.

For my Marvel movie fix, I'm all about the X-Men so I'm definitely going to save my money for Deadpool 2.

That fan base (bandwagons) you speak of will die just as it was before the SB, they will all leave to the next winning team especially as the hawks keep losing. As for noise, they have been known to pump it through the speakers just as they did in the Kingdome, actually played there I know its loud, and been a Washingtonian for almost 50 years, so do know what I'm talking about. And for ratings they have taken a noise dive since their losing ways after the SB and especially for them being the 2nd most protesting team. More ppl support the military then the seahawks, bad move on their part. You will see the teams crack down this year, due to the millions if not billions lost last year.
This post functions perfectly as a cautionary tale to the kiddies: don't do hard drugs before posting on the interwebs.

(Seriously, WTF is this nut rambling about? Sounds delusional. More people "support the military"? Um...OK...speaking of purple cows. LOL)

Isn't the $5 gc a code someone can redeem? If so, send it to someone who can gift you a $5 game.

Just got back from seeing IW. There is so much going on in the movie. If you haven't already, I would recommend watching Thor Ragnarok before as this movie takes place soon after and to get some back story on what happened to Thor. I would also recommend at least watching the end of Civil War as I seem to remember it differently from what seemed to happen in IW.

I was hoping to see some new heroes a la Green Lantern in Justice League but then Disney/Marvel have been doing great with their movies. I would also like to see a new Hulk movie.

I think accurately sums it up. That said, I really enjoyed Man of Steel & Batman v Superman (as long as we're talking about the uncut version...the theater release wasn't nearly as good to the point it almost felt like an entirely different film). JLA...eh...yeah, pretty underwhelming. I'll give it another chance. I mean, after Wonder Woman almost anything was going to be a letdown...but JLA can't be as bad as I remember, can it?

Like I said, the feature to gift a game is only for someone from your own country. So i give the 5 code to someone in the US, the game I will receive as a gift will be for US only because bought on the US marketplace, I checked.

Ahhh, I misunderstood. I thought you were referring to the $5 not being a code. I also didn't know you can't gift to someone outside your country.

Can you just log into the US site? We can access foreign stores to get GWG, don't see why it shouldn't work to pay for it too

Except the Seahawks have had a great fanbase since their conception.............. Every team that gets good or wins a SB gets it's share of bandwagoners, it's how sports work. But the Seahawks have one of the most solid fanbases in the NFL, let alone professional sports. Ok you're from Washington, I'm from MD so I guess I have final say on the Ravens and Redskins...

You will see the teams crack down this year, due to the millions if not billions lost last year.

his previous posts looked like one of those dumb posts about how kneeling is such a disrespect to the military that fought for the right to kneel, an infinity wars loop so to speak

BTW I'm a Lions fan.... one day, one day

I think because there's no payment required on those GWG, were capable of just grabing the licence without the need for that specific marketplace currency.

These gift cards, or the codes you get by email if you receive a game from a friend through the feature, those are only redeemable in their specific marketplace.

Anyways, I could probably just make a US account and keep it for a $5 game, but fuck that.

Not sure where you get your info, but no they haven't had a great fan base from conception, not even close even through the 70 80s with Zorn, krieg and largent, they werent loved because they were like the browns they lost. Only until they won, everyone jumped on claiming they were a 12 which they stole from Texas AM (I know cause I played against them in college), then lost that court case too. Comparing hawks to franchises like Ravens and Redskins, really!

That does sound like a lot of work just to spend $5. This is almost an albatross for you.

Sex isn't fun anymore when you have to conceive 50+ male children for an entire football roster plus all the people for the coaching and administrative staff.

Here's to hoping all future sports teams are spawned via inceptions.

20 lousy points from getting the Perfect Escape cheevie. 3 member team (me, 2 randoms), brand new killer Trapper with no clue on what to do. Heartbreaking. That's one of those cheevies I will never see in my lifetime

Dang nabbit. The GPS in the moviepass is all FUBAR'd and it thinks I'm in the ocean somewhere off the coast of Ghana. So of course it can't find any movie theaters.

I'm in no rush to see Infinity War. Besides not seeing Thor Ragnarok yet, I'm just not into the Avengers movies like everyone else. IMO, Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther were better and I would rather see more of those characters.
The Guardians feature quite heavily in Infinity War, and to be honest, Infinity War is very different from the other Avengers movies. I'm glad I went in without spoilers, because this movie is shocking and amazing and near perfect. Moments in this film made actual tears come out of my face, and that's something no other comic movie has done.

The NHL expansion process is so broken, I'm sure it will be a few years hopefully a decade before we see another team in the league but they got to let teams protect more players.
You also have to remember that they worked the daylights out of the process too. Cut deals with all sorts of teams for extra compensation for who to or not to take. Pittsburgh gave them a second round pick to take Fleury off their hands and nine either teams paid them with additional players and/or draft picks to take a certain person. Their GM did exactly what you would hope for and has killed it there and in subsequent moves. I think it's better for everyone for them to exceed first year expectations and solidify that fan base than be yet another expansion team that's just horrific for 5-10 years before becoming mediocre.

Game Pass Endless Play Sale full list, available until 8 may:
I just can't bring myself to buy content restricted to something I'm renting.

Know a lot has been made of God of War’s story and being more emotional with the kid and stuff but damn the combat in that may be the most satisfying of any game I’ve ever played. And I’m still early in the game. Anyone who’s gotten to at least “The Stranger” will know what I’m talking about as far as combat.

Finished Jade Empire for the third time, probably been a good 7+ years since my second playthrough.

Still really short for a RPG. Finished in 18 hours doing every single side quest.

Game held up well on the X, outside of one time where it froze and wouldn't let me restart. Might have been my X or the latest dashboard update though.

Gotta finish Titan Quest then I'm gonna work on Breakdown. Not sure when I'll do my KOTOR1+2 playthroughs. Guess it depends on how bored I am and what E3 holds. Has anyone put in a decent amount of time in Breakdown? 8 hours? Still tough?

I get it and I may have been a little to cut and dry with my arguments against it, my first mistake I totally forgot Seattle was getting a team, second yes the GM of Las Vegas worked the system well to get players under contract that they could control for the first couple years or trade bait them for future picks. My argument is why do other owners in the NHL want to let teams come in and hold that much leverage over them, there were plenty of players on teams that didn't want to let them go and had to bait and switch deals with them just so they weren't "drafted". It's fine, Hockey is probably my fave sport a game 7 is like no other when you head into a couple over times. Just build something instead of buying it.

I've watched some "Let's plays" best way I can describe it, man using the triggers instead of the face buttons would mess me up, but I guess it take a turn not talking spoilers. I'll probably pick it up even though I'm over 3rd person over the shoulder anything, looking at you Gears of War.

That’s what you get for calling them ‘cheevies’.

Assassin's Creed switched to the triggers too and I like it better. Reminds me of Dark Souls

It looks like GoW controls can be changed to a more classic layout in options. This is the first thing I did in AC Origins. I can’t stand the trigger/shoulder buttons for sword gameplay - it feels like using a steering wheel in a flight simulator.

Hmm..didn’t know you could change them. Might have to try that even though I seem to be getting used to it.

Connect both hard drives, then in storage find the hard drive that has the data on it and then click transfer. It will ask you where and what you’d like to transfer.
Thanks just used my Sea of Thieves code money to buy a 8tb that's on sale at BBY. I'll just throw the 4tb in the closet
