I've decided that if a game doesn't have a hero with a face and an actual name (like Marcus Fenix, Kratos, Nathan Drake, etc) and not just some generic title like "Guardian" or "Agent", I'm not fuckin with it. Tired of this shit. I want iconic characters that I can put a face to. No more helmets and masks.

Honestly one of the worst E3 shows of recent memory, of course a certain yarn character was spoiled earlier in the day and after that they really brought nothing. Sea of Solitude had some cool art. Anthem looks and sounds more Destiny than ever. I did like the Respawn dude nodding and telling me I'm getting a Jedi Academy game some day from them, they really do still have the single player chops after Titanfall 2 and the first couple Call of Dutys. No Skate 4, go eff yourself EA.

Star Wars game with lead time and a developer I still moderately trust in a time period I want more from, I consider that a win. Murdering C&C and making it's corpse dance was not something I expected. They totally blew the Unravel 2 reveal, didn't realize it was out today until seeing comments about it.

I can't decide if I should spend my credit at a local store on an X or not. I currently don't have a 4k TV but would upgrade in the near future, been eyeing the tcl. This store sells books, movies, music and games. Would probably buy some vinyl and games but don't need to add to those backlogs. I currently have $423 in credit and still have more movies and games to trade in.

Do any of the Xbox 1 games interest you? If so, maybe look into the Xbox one s as it is far cheaper and plays the same games. If you aren't getting a 4k tv soon the one s is a great option and when you do get a 4k tv the one s is still a 4k blu Ray player and displays 4k content and HDR. Just depends how soon you will be getting a 4k tv, what games you're interested in, and how important 4k gaming is to you.

I thought about getting a one x but I already have a one s and just can't justify the upgrade.

that’s what I thought also. Picked up 2 + years worth when it was $5 a month and have barely touched anything on it. It did help it realize Sea if Thieves was garbage and not worth a purchase but I probably could’ve figured that out another way.

Can mixer be streamed on a phone and count for the mix pot? I won’t be home when the stream starts and I’d like to snag as many freebies as I can no matter how amazing or mediocre they are.

Edit: Found the Mixr app for IPhone and it let me link my Xbox account. So I assume I’ll be able to stream on the go and have it count for the mixpot.

Unravel 1 was a beautiful puzzle platformer that told a great heart felt story with no dialogue.

I know it’s blasphemy but I enjoyed it more than inside. Then again I thought the latter was a bit to artsy fartsy.

So I’m in for unravel 2.... when it’s down to super cheap. I do have a back log :p

The bit of gameplay had an NPC address players as freelancers, so I'm pretty sure you're sol.

It also sounded like the only place you're out of your iron man suit is in the instanced hub area, so if you can customize your face it's just for the npcs to marvel at.

Is Newegg's Ebay store reliable? They have the X1X there currently for $399.99 without tax. Almost seems like a deal too good to be true.

You might've just sold me on Unravel. I too thought Inside was just ok ... until that ending! That's where I was like, well, fuck me, that was stupid as hell.
 
Decided to preorder Anthem while I still have GCU. Also comes with a $10 cert so basically $37.99. Gonna take advantage of GCU before I mourn its death come October (for me).
