Here's the thing thats tricky. The last MK Kollector's edition wasnt Gamestop Exclusive and I'm guessing they probably made a shitload of those. Because Europe also got separate MKX CE that had 70000 units made (which I thought was alot) and that one sold out pretty fast and held its value pretty well. So I'm guessing they made couple hundred thousand of that Coarse Kollector's edition here. It's gonna all depend on how limited they made it this time and how good quality the Mask is.

The Days Gone CE is pretty cool, problem is I think the game might suck. Gonna see how reviews go before I decide if I wanna keep my pre-order.

 
Why are people complaining about MK11 CE price when Fallout 76 and MANY other CEs are just as expensive and sellout, no different here. Some dont even come with the game!

I think gamers are sick to getiing ripped off, 8 out of 10 CE isn't worth it and the ones they do are limited of super expensive before launch.. I preoder metro exodus spartan and aurora and that was around 300 USD.. I really hope is a cool game and worth it..

It has a mask that many are not interested in and a steelbook. That's just 2 things. At least some of the more expensive ones have more crap to look filling. Considering you get a steelbook with the $100 premium version as well, it does not seem worth $200 for a mask.

I feel the same way, game looks interesting but I'm still not sold. I went ahead and pre-ordered a Collectors Edition because the content seems worth it with GCU and I think if the game ends up being a hit this will probably be a fairly limited collectors edition.

Wow I thought I was the only one but yea I get the same vibe. I feel like there’s a reason it’s been delayed for so long. I mean I feel like it was first shown like 3 years ago? Might be one of the few Sony first party titles that flops.

It was revealed at E3 2016 with all of the other Sony games that came out in 2018, it’s only been delayed twice and one of them was a smart delay. The first delay probably was needed for polish but also not to release in the fall which doesn’t like to do anymore and the delay to April was smart because there were like 3-4 AAA games coming out Feb 22. It defineitly would have flopped releasingthe same to Anthem, Metro and Crackdowm.
 
Eh, I’ll get the game probably day one but not going for premium or CE but damn that IS overpriced. I’ll wait for a komplete Edition.

I’d get the days gone CE if I still had gcu. I’ll just wait for a price drop on CE if it’s not that limited. Oh gcu..

I see Anthem now gets a steelbook from Bestbuy, missed this.  Anybody seen it for sale separate?  Can't find it on site.

Seems like a hybrid of Mass Effect and Diablo/Destiny so I'm very interested. I also hate PVP and much prefer PVE content, which helps.

The Division. It's a half-hearted MMO wannabe for consoles. Usually shared world for a handful of people to simulate an MMO and a short story and repeatable dungeons with small loot tables and high RNG. These kinda of games are getting old for me and don't feel like jumping on anything that looks anything like Destiny. I want a normal open world co-op game that's 4 players. Ghost Recon Wildlands was the last good one I remember. Saints Row, Crackdown, Borderlands are all good.

All signs to very little predatory schemes from what I can tell. As for how "done" and unbroken the game is upon release, well we'll see. I know a guy *ahem* who played it recently in a closed alpha and it was a whole lot of fun. Definitely not a Destiny clone. Kind of like a way more open ME3 multiplayer in how it played. Story seems interesting, too.

 
I'm looking forward to Anthem.  I never cared about Destiny or any other FPS MMO, but this intrigued me.  The gameplay footage that was released only hyped it up more for me.

I know a few of my friends will be getting it too, so fun times to be had.  MHW was the last game that was a day one for me for multiplayer activities.

I loved Destiny 1 for a few years. Actually I just bought Destiny 2: Forsaken for $19.99 off of Newegg the other day because I've been having that itch to play again.

I'll be ordering the SE edition of Anthem from BB on release week.

Each year I only buy a couple of games on release week and Anthem is going to be one of them in '19. *fingers crossed*. If it bombs in reviews or demos then I will change my opinion and likely return it. But the game looks right up my alley and I've been waiting for it for awhile. I think we're all a bit skeptical because it was supposed to be this massive game and now it's releasing in just a month, with little fanfare.

Yeah, as a segue, I've been thinking about this aspect of Anthem a lot lately. Because of the timing, and meeting publisher deadlines, I'm sure that Anthem is going to ship unfinished like many similar games from similar pubs.

Everything will hinge upon the core competencies of the game:

-Is it fun and satisfying to shoot stuff?

-Is the loot system appealing and engaging?

As for the game, It plays ok. Enemies still end up being bullet sponges and the jet pack overheats pretty fast.

Got my EU ToV DE PE today! Nice surprise considering I thought it was still somewhere in Europe. Only one of the rear corners is a little banged up, so pretty good condition considering the lack of a proper box (it just had one of those cardboard wrap around packages) and the distance it traveled.
