Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

The engineer in me just really wants to know what is the metallurgy behind the "FPS-proven aircraft grade aluminum frame" on that mouse.

The amount of people being proud of return fraud and the lengths people will go to, is just stupid. We are adults, act like it. Don't be children, if you're purchasing something, dont try to "get one over" on the store, and either return it if you dont want it, or keep it. Don't swap innards or put your old one inside to return it. Thats really scummy, childish, and gross.

How do those rate for speed and quality etc?
Not the poster but I prevously posted about the deal on these cards and bought the 64gb pny card for $7. They are U1 with 100mb/s read/write I believe. There are also U3 cards on sale which are better for 4k video. PNY is a solid brand. In addition to the PNY cards the higher speed Sandisk cards are being clearanced out too... but they were cleaned out of my store already which is why I settled for a 64gb pny card.

My Walmart clearance section always looks like a tornado just went through, and has about as many deals as a post tornado strike as well.
I can vouch for that.
The walmarts near me have entire isles for clearance, but it is all nothing for me.
Assorted open make-up.-save 7 cents
Misc hunting / camping stuff -
And I love it when I see the clearance sticker say the same clearance and original prices.
And I have NEVER seen any kind of video game clearance like that.
Mine does have a bunch of Rock Band AC/DC on PS2 for $50+. But that's about it.

My inner city Wal-Marts never have NUTTIN, but when I go out to the BOONIES Walmarts its tons of stuff..

However I find it HILARIOUS that the clearance video games are still priced way higher than the normal on sale video games(obviously not $60 semi new releases).

However not all was bad news.. SCORED MAJOR

Oh wow,, I really want one of those Bowser controllers. I would trade you if you picked one up or paypal perhaps?

Not making a new BF thread for this since it's an incomplete ad. This is Walmart's BF 2019 ad showing only part of the videogame consoles page. I did not obtain this page, it was shared to me. I have no idea if it is real or legit but have faith in my source. The ad is still in the testing phase and not complete at all. This may not be what prices are once the ad is out and this should be taken with a grain of salt. Enjoy, but again, this is not the finished product.

- CheapyD Edit - Walmart asked me to remove the ad and provided me the following statement:

“I can confirm this is not Walmart’s Black Friday ad. We haven’t released our ad yet, but stay tuned! We’re excited about all we have to offer Black Friday shoppers.”

Went to a location that supposedly had 6+ Labo vehicle kits. Got there none to be found, and an employee insisted that they didn't have any. The Walmart app even showed the item as in sock. I don't know why I bothered.

It isn't supposed to be an image for the public but a test for the final ad. It isn't even the final edit of the test. The thing to take away is the prices and what's for sale.

Which is why I said take this as a grain of salt as it isn't the final of anything.

Very YMMV, picked up a LG 55" Class OLED C8 Series 4K (2160P) Smart Ultra HD HDR TV - OLED55C8PUA for 500 at Walmart. Went out to pick up some games from a guy on marketplace and decided to stop by the local Walmart. https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker/?sku=694165427
Yep that's the deal of the year. I had them bookmarked all summer and refreshed every day for 3-4 months. But they sold out here at $999 for the 55" and $1399 for the 65".

Got a limited stock listing of that TV at the walmart 10 miles away... worth it to almost certainly strike out at midnight?

I wasn’t actively looking for one, just stumbled across it. This tv went on clearance in May, som most of the stock has been depleted by now. There was also the 65 inch version but it was a display model and 1100. If it is limited stock then it’s hit or miss.

Were probably about what 3 or so weeks from the actual ads coming out (or leaking)... so not too much longer to see what the deals are.

While i'd love to see that, that seems fishy to me personally. Switch lite's i'd bet wont be on sale. They're too new. Unless Walmart is the one thats taking the hit and not Nintendo doing the discounting. If this IS real, the picture of the switch box is the new model, not the old one. This seems a bit much because I dont know when i've seen this much console wise on sale.

If true though, may look into a switch lite.... Not sure.

I got this exact model for $500 when my local Sears went out of business. I used to work there and the managers were still cool with me. Great TV.

OLED in TVs has to come down eventually. I would like a 65” set but prices have been insane for years.

Snagged the variety, vehicle, and robot LABO kits.  They were still marked $30 but rang up $19.  Looking forward to tackling those alongside my 7 year old.  She's excited about the vehicle kit.

Eh, I wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to push consoles like crazy during the holiday season.
It seems a bit unnecessary for such a deep cut, but what better way to really capitalize while Xbox One & PS4 are winding down? The Switch will move like crazy if the price is slashed by that much during the holidays.

Brickseek showed limited stock for the crystal DS4 at the Walmart closest to me.  Decided to stop by and check and was surprised to see it sitting at the front of the locked display case with the other controllers.

Webster, NY Walmart did have some Pyramid posters in their electronics section. There was Space Invaders and also a Mario Kart poster 2pack for $4.00 each.

Any chance the crystal controllers drop again?

Also, a tv stand ive had my eye on at the local walmart went on clearance within the past day and 7 of these huge things went out of stock overnight. No clue who would buy that many but bravo I guess.

Targets seem to also have these on clearance. Mine had them for 41 dollars and thats to pricey for me but some other places had them ar 29.98 or something. DCPI is 207-00-0745

Ive heard nothing but amazing things about this game. It's on my list to play but its hard finding  copy on here in Tulsa. If i saw it for $22 i would gladly pick it up!

Yeah, that's the one. If any electronics are on clearance in town, nine times out of ten it's there.
I hate that Walmart so so much. Security there got pissed and frisked me because i came in 15 minutes before they closed. I needed tape (long story) and when he saw that i had tape and some gum he asked why i had gum if i was just getting tape. I just walked out and haven't been back since then.
