Where is the weekly ad?
They ended the weekly ad for more rotation of deals. Please check the homepage and deal link for the current deals.

I can't find a trade in value for an item?
It might not be tradable or calling a store to find the value may be the only option.

How many copies of a game can I trade in?
You are allowed to trade in 4 copies of the same game (same system) within a rolling 30 day period.

Are there trade limits?
Yes, $500 cash minus some electronic trade ins and or $2000 trade credit in a rolling 30 day period.

Can I use the $5 monthly coupon on gift cards?

Yes you can in store but not online please note not all gift cards will apply to this rule.

I have a $XX.xx pre-owned reward certificate, and I want to use it on a B2G1 transaction. Should I?
It depends. If the three games are equal value, do not use your certificate. The value of the certificate would be applied to the free game, which would not benefit you. If one game is more expensive, you can use the certificate to make it the same value as the other two games ($5 reward certificate applied to transaction with two $10 games and one $15 game would make all three games $10).


TERMINOLOGY AND LINGO:
ASL/SL: Assistant Store Leader, Store Leader; manager positions at GS.
B2G1: Buy two, get one free.
GS: GameStop
JD: Junior detective, an employee who is out to get someone
LP: Loss Prevention; this is the department that actually bans accounts after being flagged.
TC/TiC: Trade credit.
TIV/TV: Trade in value, or what a game currently trades for. When posting a TV for a game, always use the base value.

Hmm..wonder if any of my local GameStop’s have Jack Jeanne collector’s edition. I would love to grab that for $15. A shame there’s not even a page for it on the web to check inventory.
 
Anybody have a link to filter by price.

You used to be able to edit the URL to be between two prices, but can't remember what the parameters are.

I used a 30% coupon off a burner account on my primary account and got a couple hundred off some junk. Have people on CAG been mixing coupons across accounts fine without it being a ban?
I might gather some more and go to another store, I had another 30%, just not sure if using two of the 30% trade in coupons also gets me on their radar.

No ban for me... because my store wouldn't even let me try.

Though I'm glad they stopped me anyways since I decided it would be better off going all out at another store.
 
Didn't you read the posts from yesterday? The Xbox versions are being clearanced out since GS needs to make room for Switch 2, so Xbox games are being relegated to the back room if they don't have enough space on the sales floor. Microsoft themselves seem intent on phasing out physical games. Most people won't care since Xbox sells the least games and even less people still buy physical games, but it's not a good thing for Xbox owners that games are on fire sale. It's a very short-term gain.

This feels more like a clearance sale. But there are frequent scheduled sega sales. A few weeks ago UO ps5 was $19 preowned and also b2g1. I finished the game recently and really recommended it.

No I have not read the post yesterday but I know MS they were clearing out physical but it still hurts my soul every time i see a wario64 post on Twitter showing a game I want at a good price but it's Xbox though.
 
Really nice sale. My haul:
$30: Advance wars Sw
$15 each: Walking dead destinies, Tekken 8, Epic Mickey Rebrushed (XSX, brand new & sealed). Reynatis (PS5).
My store had a lot of clearance games and I left quite a lot behind that I was tempted to get, but knew I probably would not get around to playing.

I grabbed a stack of stuff to trade thinking it would be a good deal and realized I don't have that extra coupon so didn't trade anything.

Haven't spent money at GS in over a year, just bought a stack of stuff for shipping. Don't care if stuff is gutted as long as they are functionally complete.
 
Not cleaning up as well as others since I didn't get any of the trade in coupons, but it was nice to get $24 for helldiver's 2 with stealth bump and switch 2 pre order. Played well over 100 hours and got the platinum. Looked back and I got it from Target at launch for about $25 with one of their b2g1 deals

Both. As far as I know, there's no way to avoid receiving gutted copies. I really wish there were an option to leave a note or instruction to cancel the order or remove the item if it's not sealed.
 
Stuff like Dragon Age where stores are likely to have numerous copies have a decent chance to come sealed. For other items like the obscure jrpgs I've been ordering, the only reasonable expectation is gutted.

And then there's the weird middle-ground of stuff like Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition. I couldn't find anything else that interested me, so I opted for two copies of that for free shipping--hopefully at least one arrives sealed.

EDIT: Shipment notification within an hour, both copies are being shipped together so fingers crossed.

Thank you guys for saving me money at gamestop over the years. Here's one of the 50% codes. I have to check all my old accounts that don't exist anymore.

Yeah traded quite a bit yesterday. There were some big drops but also some pretty good values. Anybody else flip Madden 25 PS4? Purchased at one Gamestop for $15 and traded it in for $44 (after 120% boost) at another just a couple miles away. One of the better flips in recent memory.
 
I can never do more than 2-3 separate GameStop orders online in a short timeframe before their website seems to block me for potential fraud. So annoying. First thing I noticed is my address updated to null null null, fixed that before they shipped my stuff to the void, but all cards and PayPal declined since.

Wait, does that mean the switch promo, coupon, and power trade 20% promo stack? Does this mean you had to do a switch 2 game preorder and then another random non switch 2 game? I didn't get both bonuses doing a switch 2 game preorder.

The 40% gets calculated after the 50% coupon is applied. 1.50 x 0.4 =0.6 You get base value 1.0 + 0.5 + 0.6 + 0.1 pro = 2.20 or 120% on top of base.
