Regardless of that, I certainly appreciate taking the humor incentive away from it.
 
Don't know if that will change much. Expect to see ninja/$$$$er/$$$$a/nucca/whatthefuckever jokes for a long, long time.

If that's the issue, couldn't you filter $$$$er to the location of the ninja image instead of to dollar signs? Then you won't have to see it on the smiley list.
 
Simply put, you can't just "ban" the use of the word, it's a purely topical and ultimately fruitless remedy. If you want to see the word "$$$$er" disappear from communication, then do what it takes to see the lifestyle disappear.

The N word will never cease to be used until we as humans can learn to get along and co-exist with one another and quite frankly, I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Have I used the word? Yes I have, both in anger and in jest to a friend of mine who is irritated by it's usage(we're both white btw). Would I say it to a member of the black community at large? No, I would not. But, yes, I HAVE USED IT.

Does that make me a bad person? Perhaps. But, I never said I was a saint and I doubt I'd ever try to be one either.

I'm as non-PC as they come, I call them as I see them, rarely pull my punches and I find all this overly sensitive nonsense over race to be nothing but garbage. Every race wants to be called by a hyphenated name in this country: African-Americans, Asian-Americans,Hispanic-Americans. How about we just stick with a ONE word name: Americans.

Apologies to those CAGs north of the border who may feel left out by the last paragraph.
 
I say the censorship of the N word and other offensive terms on CAG is sufficient. Sure, the NINJA censor block was easy to discern what was SUPPOSED to be in its place and it was a tad funny, but I rarely use the word anyway, so I had NO USE for it. Although, a couple times I was dropping ALOT more than F bombs(a couple more colorful 'sentence enhancers, namely CS'r and MF'r)in a thread, but deleted the post before anyone saw them, since I don't wanna ruin my nice guy image here on CAG. :lol:

And yes, I DO use the N word, but have only used it ONCE in anger towards a then-friend who I lent money to who didn't want to pay me back. Other than that, I've used it while hanging out with my one friend who is SOOOO PC it isn't funny. I call her 'my n word' over and over again, just to get her goat. She and I are both white, btw.

But, I would NOT use it to anyone out in the community, since even I with my non-PC ways I know it's 'not nice'.
