Wii Sports Resort $18.99 at deepdiscount.com

The response I received is worded differently: The "original ordered item" being Wii Sports Resort, not Wii Motion Plus.

Oddly, Wal-Mart has been my go-to place for Wii stuff. I bought my Wii at the Wal-Mart in Brunswick a couple weeks back. When I was looking for WarioWare and a Nunchuck in Lewiston/Auburn, EB and Gamestop didn't have either and the Auburn Supercenter had both! It's all topsy-turvy.

The closest store to me is Bull Moose in Lewiston, but most of the time I'll go the EB in Auburn. I've given up on browsing for the most part; I'm about ready to switch hobbies over to board games.

I may be looking to unload some of my NES games. I went up to Video Game Exchange last week, and was a little bummed that they don't really have anything for any of the niche systems. Their prices on games are nice, but the selection is really lacking. The EB in Augusta is hands down the worst...

Well, with taxes being what they are, the only real industries being healthcare and tourism, and this site being cheapassgamer, it's to Bull Moose's credit that it's taking Mainers' interests to heart.

    Maine Thread

I've given up on the Lewiston pawn shops; the multi-floor one, for example, asks for more than EB/Gamestop does for everything which is pretty ridiculous. The store in Lewiston advertises itself as a CD/DVD/Video Game sales place. I'm not sure how to describe the location - it's NEAR the...

Where do you go in Augusta, and do they sell TG-16/Saturn? There's a store in Lewiston I've been meaning to check out, but it's in a pain-in-the-ass location near Luiggi's so I figured it wasn't work the trouble.

    Maine Thread

It pains me to say this (because I don't really want to give myself competition for the good stuff) but there's a flea market in Lisbon Falls when the weather's good (ie not now, but again in the spring) that can have video game deals. I got Rise of the Kasai there for $3 when it was brand new...

I visit stores in Lewiston/Auburn, even though I have yet to see anything resembling a deal in one of them.

Honest opinions on Phantom Brave plz...

I really disliked it at first, but now that I know what I'm doing I like the system more than Disgaea/La Pucelle's. I made it to the end of La Pucelle, but didn't finish it, and DID finish Disgaea. The allure of it to me is that there's so much flexibility in the way you develop your characters...

    The Sims 2 $29.99 @ Circuit City

They have the Sims 2 in their system for $39.99, and then the gift card ($10) is added to that, producing the $49.99 total. At least, that's how it breaks down on my receipt (I tried to buy the DVD version, but my store would not budge that that gift card was for the CD version only).

Kerry: 'I Can Fight More Effective War on Terror'

You do remember the text of that memo, right? The year "1998" crops up quite a bit. The last two paragraphs are the meat of the importance. Still, saying "consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks" is far from saying "hijackings cum suicide bombings are imminent," and...
