Re: preorder artbook. That's usually how things go at Gamestop. Corporate or fulfillment or whatever you want to call it sends them a certain number of artbooks based on some arcane math. It might be based on the number of preorders; it might be based on the general amount of business that...
Since it's nowhere near being sold out, I'm going with no. The lamp, although cool, is not really bringing in people. Would have been a much better buy at a cheaper price point ($100?). Oh well. Gives me a reason to dust off my PS3. If it had sold out before prelaunch then it might be worth...

I'm getting the realization I just paid $90 (more or less) for a lamp that I don't even really care about.
As far as a figure goes, maybe they'll have something at the Square-Enix store at SDCC in July. Maybe Kojima will be around since it's a launch year. Maybe I'll...
That's exactly what can happen if you are unlucky. They were originally made for store setups that you'd put in a shop for someone to just buy one or two of the singular boxes from. If you got multiples then you'd try to trade with friends. Kind of like baseball cards. Something you get that...
The ones included with the U.S. version are just trading figures. Normally you buy one singular box, you get one figure. The Hobby Search link is for a box of those singular boxes and are packed randomly from the factory. You don't know what is in any of those singular boxes til you open...
They're upset because in the promo image an image of a better item was used. Had they used the cheaper item in the promo to begin with the expectation would not have been set.
Ah, so they did stick to the January date I got quoted at Comic-Con a few weeks back :)
Two days off from my birthday too.
Suppose it is time to get Project 2-4 rolling again...
I wouldn't trust any game or anime soundtrack on ebay to be legit period, high price or no. If you're fine with counterfeits knock yourself out though. I've got a few counterfeit ones myself from ages past.
