If they have trouble finding it in store, mention to them that it's a smaller-sized guide - not normal magazine size.

Not sure if this helps, but the same thing almost happened to me, until I reminded them that the Persona 4 guide is smaller in size than the regular ones. The guy helping me then remembered exactly where they were in the back room.
