Yeah, the first 90 min are awful. I nearly quit. But if you stick with it, it really picks up after you get out of the first dungeon. It really is a straight Zelda rip off, but I actually enjoyed it more than most Zelda games. (One of my biggest complaints with games these days is how long...
Just saw this thread. Dark Souls is back in stock for 360, and I just jumped. It was out of stock 20 minutes ago so I'd advise people to go for it now if they want it. I've been waiting for this to hit $20 -- I've never played any Souls game and I want to see what they're about.
Honestly, I love Gears but I didn't think we needed another after the third. I'd really rather People Can Fly be developing Bulletstorm 2, because the first one was awesome.
Don't know if this counts as a daily deal but Dark Souls is available for sale for $25 used. Thinking of picking it up at that price, although $20 would be easier to stomach.
Ugh. All my local Target's are out. I really want to play this game based on the stuff I've heard from the Giant Bombcast but I'm not driving forever to get it.
How often do they have these sales? I want to buy a PS3 320 GB and they're available for $225 now with free shipping, but waiting for that $170 is tempting. Should I buy now or wait a bit?
Yeah the patches are infuriating. Kinda glad I grabbed the game and all expansions on Steam for $10 so it downloads the newest version automatically. Not worth it to download those patches again--they never did make an all-inclusive one which is crazy.
I love the books and show, and will probably pick this game up at some point just for the story elements, but I'll wait till it hits $20 or $10. I'm glad I don't have the urge to collect art books like some here do!
Well, the original CoH was really based on mobility and offense. You can't really hunker down in one area and expect to win. Sure, there were a few exceptions (like the Wehrmacht bunker that could be very powerful when deployed correctly) but usually you always had to keep your forces on the...
There are two expansions. Sadly they are not nearly as good as the original game and the factions introduced in the first expansion (especially the British) really were detrimental to the game as a whole. But it's still worth playing. As far as I know, it should run on a 64-bit system.
CoH...
