I got lucky on getting mine fixed: - Went through chat to set up the repair. Before the chat finished, I explicitly stated it was a used model, and the rep said they'd repair it anyway since it was within a year of release and all systems were still under the 1-year warranty. - Sent it in...

Mine had a faulty disc drive (got my box and sent it out for repair today) and had a bit of light scratching on the top and bottom, but otherwise seemed to be fine.

As a heads up for anyone that grabs one of these, make sure you test it fully once you get it. I checked everything EXCEPT the disc drive, only to find out that was not working properly when I opened Watch Dogs. :( Still covered by the 1-year warranty, though, so I've got a box on the way...

Hey, I only asked for a small credit/refund so that I could buy a cable. I'd have been happy with $10. They offered $120, I'm not gonna say no lol.

Got my $300 "like-new" PS4 from earlier this week.  Little bit of scratching and scuffing on top and bottom, and missing the controller charging cable. Amazon offered a generous 40% refund for the missing cable.   :shock: So...$180 PS4 get!
