This might sound stupid, but the amazon 20 dollar credit on RDR is good on anything at amazon, correct? Previous times I've gotten credits they were for games only it seemed.
So, the consumerist and a number of other sites carried the story before, has anyone reminded them and showed them this update thread? At this point there is zero "reasonable explanation" for what they're doing.
They always give themselves a lot of time. I ordered mass effect 2 recently with free shipping and they estimated feb 2 for shipping (released jan 26) and it shipped jan 29.
I read through the thread and didn't see an answer, so I'll ask again, sorry if answered:
I preordered this 2 weeks ago from Amazon. Will I get the 20 dollar credit?
If I have fallout 3 for the 360 and I am able to borrow a friend's bonus disc, can I install that content and then give it back to him and allow both of us to play it?
Mine arrived broken. RMA is now on the way. Still worth the try despite the hassle. At least I could play acdc despite sending it back, since the import code works :D
Careful Kodave, your intelligent and well thought out posts during this whole matter are exactly the type of thing that was described in that leaked letter. They're going to come after you. You're one of the evil 6-8.
It was clear from that post too that they're doing *something* to go after the people who they think are, what, defaming them? Emailing the consumerist? Sure, go after people for making a complaint with the BBB, and emailing journalists. That'll help.
I'm done with this group, and it's sad...
It's also clear that CAGgers aren't about personal attacks. Every forums has its folks who like to go off the reservation. Keep it about the issues, don't give them a fake shield to hide behind and blame.
Look, we all know that they made the call to try to keep as many members as possible after they reaped thousands of new people from discounts. They got caught and now have to retcon their decisions.
