Take this for what it's worth, seems like many CAGs are having decent experiences.
I received my 12 Month Live Card + Space Chimps today. Space Chimps was immaculate. The Live Card had the tab pulled off of it, exposing the code. Surprise, surprise, it's coming up as already redeemed...
Well, you could transfer them to a memory card and then onto the new HD. You could get Microsoft's transfer cable (but using this w/ your xbox isn't going to do what you are describing, I think it's built to do a 1 time xfer from your old 20gig to a 120gig and deletes all data from the source...
heh, I guess I'm holding my breath for that big $4 discount. Hope someone makes sense of the 10% coupon soon. I probably shouldn't bother and just hit the go button.
The coupon isn't working for me. I added the item to my cart, clicked the coupon link, and went all the way to the last step of checkout.
Is there something I'm missing here?
You're right, I see that now. That's VERY misleading. They show a promo, then they link to three items which fit the description of the promo. Clearly you would expect those items to be included in the promo above. I guess I'll just hold out until it's clear.
I understand the confusion due to CSRs giving conflicting info over whether the standard edition comes with the code. But what about the special offer page on their site gives you the idea that the std wouldn't include the code?
The offer doesn't even mention the fact that there are two...

My thoughts exactly. I bought one of those SF Anniversary sticks a while back and I've been planning to replace the stick/buttons with Happ parts and wire them to a 360 controller board. A cheapy controller like this is perfect for those kinds of projects.
Anybody have any more info on these cables? That other thread is gone.
I ordered a set, hopefully they ship Wednesday. At less than half the price of a Nintendo cable, it's worth a shot.
Just picked one up. There is still one left out on the floor at the Downtown Sacramento store.
I want to do the 360 mod, but I don't want to buy an expensive 360 controller and hack it (although hacking and making a wireless arcade stick would probably really kick ass). There has to be a...
It's at $49.99 at CC when I click the link. Even still, that's not really a better deal than Walmart.com, especially if I drive to go pick it up. I'm starting to think I should just bite the bullet at go with Walmart.
