You can try the limited version RPG Maker VX Ace Lite to see if you like it. As long as you don't expect to make money off your creations it's worth it. HB did repeats of some of their bundles but I doubt you'll see a repeat of that one.
In this thread a lurker is a leech that F5s all day ninjaing codes and not showing appreciation for them. Other threads a lurker reads but doesn't contribute to the conversation. I'm sure you can guess which type people want to ban from the Internet. :puke:
There were some devs that use DRM that showed the refund rates didn't change so the DRM-free game devs stated they might have to implement Steamworks to at least lock their games to an account.
Edit: But of course the difference could simply be game quality or not having cards. That's why it's...
A few devs stated on Twitter they are planning to add Steamworks DRM to their games to see if it reduces their refund rates. If it works I doubt you'll see many drm-free games on Steam in the future.
I'm not arguing for or against the refund system. If the system is being abused all it would do is force indie devs to sell their games off-site and supply Steam keys to bypass the refund system. The only real flaw I see is it provides no feedback to the developer on where they need to improve...
Valve simply just doesn't care about anything. They actually lose more money from AAA studios selling their games on 3rd party sites than indie game bundles. The amount of money they make from indie studios would be equivalent to AAA studios due to volume. Steamspy.com would give you some...
Besides sales.. Stocking up on cards for badges now before the prices get jacked. Badges give seasonal cards, coupons, and other rewards sometimes. Voting on the flash sales usually gives a seasonal card. They'll probably have some interactive event or auction again to get people to use their gems.
Lets say that the PacMan devs admit finally that PacMan is a psychopath cannibal and the dots he eats are toddlers. The ghosts are police trying to catch him and he gets bonus points when he can kill them. Would it be banned from every store and arcade in existance? Would people suddenly blame...
Yar and nar. I'm looking for the full bundle but you only have some of the $1 tier stuff. Thank you though. I might come back when I get desperate though.
They need bosses to tell them to work on HL3. Fortunately they're hiring programmers so maybe I'll get hired and if I have time between slacking off and more slacking off I'll let you know what the hold up is.
Steam hides an Origin key in the registry for most EA games when you play them for the first time. You can then use that code to redeem the game on Origin...sometimes. Doesn't work in reverse though.
I thought you were trying to shame the greedy peeps here but instead you're putting them to shame. [-(
Good rule of thumb is to charge what you paid for it to pass on the savings.
