I got one, and it broke in two weeks. It was not mishandled, and since it was my 2nd port controller, it only had about 3 hours of game time on it when the right trigger just quit working.

I returned them separately at Target, too, and had no problems. She did ask if I paid cash or credit, though, so maybe if it is a credit card they're able to search a database for you. You do have to select something from the same department, but that's wasn't a problem since I wanted to get...

After Best Buy had none in stock to PM, I went ahead and gave GameStop a try. I showed the guy the ad, he said, "Wow, if that's what is says, than that's how much it is". He had to override the price in his system, but I got it for the $40.00. He was a nice guy, too.

I just got one, the "Ex" model, and while I can't speak about it's durability, the cooling feature is absolutely wonderful. I hate sticky, grimy controllers, and after 4 hours of play, my hands feel refreshed and somehow even feel less cramped... Though I didn't get as good a price, I think...
