No idea, but I've kind of middle-low voice and wifey has that pitchy, squeaky voice. The mike worked fine for both of us and it responded on-screen as well as I could expect, if that's any help.

*UPDATE* So I got both the guitar bundle and the Logitech microphone last week at CC...the mike works fine, so anyone wanting one now because there's nothing in sight direct from Red Octane go get it. Had lots of fun with it over the weekend. One thing about the guitar, darn I hate that touch...

I picked it for $10 yesterday; I figured why not? I've always been a fan of the series, so skipping this one 'cause of awful reviews didn't make sense to me. The PS2 version apparently holds up better than the PC version, so for the price of a haircut it was worth it IMO.
