Thanks OP. I picked up the last copy at the Sears in American Fork, UT. Was marked $59, but rang up at $25. Now I just need to get xbox #3 back from the repair center so I can try it out . . .
I rented this game a year ago and played through about 3/4 before a scratch prevented me from finishing the game. I've been looking for this gold version for < $20 ever since. I'm in for one. Thanks OP!
Did you contact Newegg about this? Everyone else (myself included), received the complete package with all items in excellent condition. If they won't provide a replacement, or the game and the mic, at the very least you should be able to return the entire package and only be out the shipping...
Generally it means it was purchased and returned. I picked one up when they had this same price a couple weeks ago. Mine came with everything, and was in excellent condition. There was one minor scratch on the guitar, but other than that it basically looked like new.

Looks like the deal is dead now. Last night it was showing up as Out of Stock and now it's saying Deactivated. You know you're history if you're "Deactivated" :)
I ordered one last week and it arrived yesterday. Everything looked pretty much new unboxing it, although when I was looking things...
360 Version is back down to $130 with free shipping. Not quite as good as the OP, but still a pretty good deal. Anyone that bought an open-box version from newegg have any problems?
I also get acknowledgment of a returned game by the next day. I suspect it has something to do with your local Post Office having (and using) certain scanning equipment to scan the bar code and that somehow gets relayed to GNF.
Although I don't like what they've done with putting your queue in...

My experience has been mostly positive with GNF so far. 95% of the time they ship a new movie/game the day after I return one. I've got over 80 titles in my queue, including a lot of older (low demand) movies and games and I've only had 2 times in 8 months where it's taken 1 more day to ship an...
