A target near me is loaded with the exclusive sets, but they're all ringing up at full price (and the scanner is saying "Stockroom: Yes". I guess they must have over-ordered. Hopefully they'll be clearenced before long.

On that topic, has anyone tried to use the re-printed coupons? I just used my last real one, and I'm curious if people have noticed cashiers to be picky (i.e. to see if it smells like fries or not).

lol.....I was the one who originally posted about that coupon (back when I was slamming down happy meals trying to collect all 6 toys). Yeah, I used it. Came to $18.90 for both after tax. Good times.

Also, on another topic, I saw animated deluxe Swoop and Sentinel Prime last night at TRU. I caved in and paid the extra buck. I expect that they would be in other stores within a week or so.

Apparently, the $35 price was a short-lived mistake. Just scanned one the other day at a price checker and it came up $85. Not sure if this is true at all stores or not, but congrats to those who wanted one and got it. Anybody on the fence should get to the store immediately and hope its not...

Does anyone know where I could get a decent price on this game (new or used)? I'm a little surprised that its so hard to find.

Paid $90+ for one of those when it came with the exclusive bonus figures in the variant packaging (Brawl and Scorponok). Looks like that investment kind of fell through. At least they didn't re-release it with the bonus figures.

The set is apparently limited to 1,500. I'm not sure that will guarantee it to be valuable, but it probably won't be available for long. The membership gives you a monthly (I think) newsletter/magazine in the mail and apparently an exclusive free toy (though I'm not sure how good it will be)...

Not cheap, though, at $120. Plus, they make you buy a 1-year membership to the club on top of that (and they had the nerve to charge another $3 for bubble wrap protection when they ship). I think it ran me about $175 total. I'm such a sucker for G1 stuff.
