iPad game sales-see the new iOS combined thread

Osmos is great on the iPad. I payed the $5 for it and it was well worth the full price. If you like physics based puzzle games, it's a no-brainer at $2.

    Bioshock 2 $34 + $10 credit AC at GameStop / $40 + $10 credit at Amazon

I see no one's talking about the story of Bioshock 2. Is it noteworthy (like the first installment) or not?

I went by at about 7:50 am and they were sold out of the A2. Still had plenty of that Acer laptop, but I don't care for that. There's another Wal-mart I could have tried, but I had to come on to work.

Vision correction surgery, mole removal surgery...how much can I expect to pay?

Friend of mine had corrective eye surgery -- lasik or something, I'm not sure which type -- and it cost him $3000, according to him. Mole removal will be around $200 or so, maybe a little higher. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 for the doctor visit and $100 for the pathologist report...

    Halo 3 Still Breaking Records

    1. Not disclosed, but a businessweek article or somesuch put the dev costs at around $60 million. 2. The number being tossed around is $10 million, mostly because Doritos and Mt. Dew and these other places actually pay MS dollars to be associated with the Halo brand. It's similar to how movies...

RUMOR: Bungie Leaves Microsoft - Update Bungie Goes Independent...Sort Of.

Yeah, don't pick it up. Not too bad for when it came out, but these days it'd be painful to play through.

Xbox 360 Falcons (65nm) are here!

Nope, because the noise from the machine is steady while I'm playing. It starts out relatively quiet even after I put the DVD in, but after the machine starts to heat up from playing the game the fans crank up to keep it cool. It's consistently loud the whole time I'm playing, then I go to...

Xbox 360 Falcons (65nm) are here!

To everyone thinking BenQ drives should be quiet, try this: play Halo 3 or Bioshock or some other game off the DVD drive for 20 or 30 minutes to let the machine get nice and hot, then eject the disk. In my case, the machine got no quieter at all -- meaning the noise is from the fans, not the...

Did you buy an Xbox 360 for Halo 3?

I was planning to buy one this fall/winter all along, but the release date of Halo 3 just moved my plans up a bit. I figured, why wait? So I bought an Elite last week with Bioshock, Dead Rising, and LotR:BfME 2, then picked up Halo 3 on Tuesday. Haven't even opened DR and BfME yet -- Bioshock...

I would suspect this deal to come around again, or perhaps even better deals by November. Especially on the HD-DVD side.
